One of our fave places to go when we want to get out of Mocksville but don't want to go to Winston. Good little sports bar. I really like the wraps and hubby always gets a burger. Last time we went we got a $5 off your next meal coupon on the reciept...score!! We like the outdoor seating on a nice night. Could use a bigger beer selection and parking can be a problem, especially if you have a bigger vehicle. read more

Solid place. Food was well prepared (basic bar and grill food) and service was good. Waitress didn't make a big deal out of me asking for substitutes due to dietary restrictions. Fans outside were a nice touch. Normally, I don't like sitting outside while I eat, but the fans on the patio provided a pleasant breeze and kept any insects away. I will be going back! read more

Great food! I had chili and an Italian wrap with a side of home made chips. Everything was wonderful and all five people at are table were pleased as well. It's new and recommended. The interior is mostly bar with a few tables and several bar style tables. We came for dinner but probably less of a bar scene for lunch. There is also outdoor seating, which we opted for. Great wait staff, all female as far as I could tell. The only drawback to the outside eating area is loitering patrons coming outside to smoke. We had several around our table for the duration of our dinner. They advertise live music every other night and karaoke on Tuesday nights at 8pm. read more

Mossy's Eats Ales & Spirits - New American Near Me - Clemmons, North Carolina

See all

This is a really fun local sports bar. Lots of TV's several seating areas just like you find in tons of sports bars. The menu is pretty much typical bar food. My wings were good, drinks were cold and priced about right. The thing that gives Mossy's an upgrade is the atmosphere. The staff and what appears to be a cast of regulars are welcoming, friendly, up beat and are seemingly ona mission to make sure everyone has a great time. I cant wait to go back! read more

Nice atmosphere, Sports bar setting, Large selection of food options, Full bar options available. Guiness on tap! Quick service. Friendly wait staff. Live music on Friday was a nice surprise. I will definitely be eating here again. Outside seating is also a nice option. Great place to meet up with friends. read more

Can't ever go wrong with Mossy's, I did however cut my lip drinking out of one of their cups. Always use straws, ladies and gents.

I was craving a pimento cheese burger and my coworker suggested mossys. The pimento cheeseburger has bacon, jalapenos, and pimento cheese. It is sooool good. I have been back 3 times in a month. I can't really bring myself to try anything else but that burger is money! read more

I've been coming here for years and this (5/28) was my first time back since the world shut down. I ordered takeout hoping to get their blackened salmon on top of a Caesar salad. However they had run out of salmon. Perfect fine, no big deal. I ordered a cheeseburger plain instead. When I got there I signed my bill and the hostess played on her phone for 10 mins before even going to look and even see if my food was done. During that wait I noticed quite a few of their staff members standing around in the dining room on their phones. When I did get my food, I had to try a fry when I got in the car. Sad to find out it was barely warm. And when I examined my burger when I got home it was a bacon burger. I don't eat bacon. Just kind of disappointed with this visit and hope they improve soon. read more

This would be a great place to do trivia and watch any game. If I get the chance to go back to NC, I'll definitely go back.

Food was delicious and service was great! I had ahi tuna salad and it was yummy! And a bow of fruit!! Very sweet waitress and the atmosphere was lively! Great experience! read more

As far as sports bars go the atmosphere is great with all the sports paraphernalia around. The service was only so so. You need to train your staff better. The real reason for the 2 star rating is the food! Its a sports bar! who doesn't know how to make bar food. Ordered fried zucchini for a starter which is the worst non-breaded slimy zucchini I've ever had. Also ordered chicken wing (sports bar staple) and specifically asked them to be crunchy which again there were not (ordered the dry rub)! The we asked for a bowel of potato soup which again was the runniest potato soup we've ever had with out a single piece of potato to be found. Beer choices are very limited compared to sports bars in the area like the River Ridge down the road or the Carolina Ale House in WS etc. Not that good!!!!!! read more

This is staring to become my go-to bar when I'm finished commuting for the week. The pub food is consistently good, the beer specials are welcome and the service is friendly. I notice they take good care of their regulars, so It's worth my while to become one. read more

Had the cuban. Expected more, less than impressed. Also mushrooms on the nacho...who does that?

Very good sports bar. I stopped in with a friend late this weekend and was pleasantly surprised. At first, I thought it would be loud, but we were able to carry on a conversation in normal tones. Great selection of beers on tap and the prices are extremely reasonable! I was surprised at how low our bill was. Our waitress was really pleasant and attentive, checking on us regularly and exhibiting a great attitude. We only tried an appetizer, but the mozzarella sticks were pretty good (a lot of places seem to not do them well, so it's often hit or miss). Others have mentioned it seems like there are many regularas, and after being there an hour, it did seem like a comfortable place to hang out with friends. Give it a try and see for yourself. read more

Loved this place. My husband and I were just driving through and we loved the name so stopped in for dinner. Their fries were great, and love that you can get wings or bites grilled. There were tons of TVs to watch and a very friendly staff. I only wish it was closer to us - this would be a regular for me read more

The food is really good for bar food. The staff is very friendly. Beer selection could use some work/more craft beers that aren't found everywhere. read more

Normally among my default fly-by's when I work late and my home kitchen has closed, my latest visit was a service disappointment. - The "not my table, not my responsibility" approach was very surprising as I waited seemingly unnoticed despite the table next receiving 2 visits. - Maybe I was in the shadow of one of their many TVs - Server greeting took so long I nearly left - first drink arrived just before meal did - long-awaited refill sat at bar as ticket was read by other server + promptly set back down as she chatted with barkeep. Finally delivered as a drop 'n run which, with used drinks glasses stacking on table, continued irritatingly and subtracted greatly from my awesome dinner. Get with it, Mossy's, or I'll spend my money downtown! read more

I can't believe how cheap the beer is at Mossy's! Ordered a bud light draft which was 2.79 and my boyfriend ordered a diet coke which was 2 bucks and some. He might as well should have ordered a beer. I ordered a chicken cesar salad wrap which was okay along with some chips. I liked how there was a side of ranch to accompany both but the chicken was dry. The waitress was nice but forgot we ordered waters and some other things. TVs all around and a big bar. Agreed on the typical sports bar comment. read more

Always steady here - good service, good drinks - nice pours. Love, love, love their version of Bang Bang Shrimp and the Buffalo Chicken Pizza is excellent. Salads are amazing and they are always willing to sub in ingredients. Great neighborhood bar/restaurant. read more

Love this place! They have such a great selection of food items. The homemade chips are great! It's also a nice place to go to get together and watch sporting events on the multiple TVs they have all around. read more

Great little sports bar...lots of Tvs...Food always been great...little crowded (prob because it is a good place to hang out) :)

Unexpectedly great food for a sports bar. Wonderful service, and draft selection. This is my wife and my joint to eat and drink too much on a parent date. It is goddamned excellent. read more

They know nothing about beer. They don't even know when they have the wrong keg on a tap.....either won't admit it ...or just know so little about beer ....or I'm guessing ....don't care. read more

Mossy's has grown considerably throughout the years and has become on of my favourite places to eat in town. Their burgers are fantastic and the range of sides, including my favourite sweet potato tots, leaves you plenty of options. It is quite popular on Friday and Saturday night with a full service sports bar just adjacent to the main dining area. They have live music often and has always been family friendly. In addition we have never had an issue with our service dogs here in the 8 years we have been going here. read more

I have been here a number of times over the past few years each year and have never really been unhappy. Most all times I have been here the staff has been friendly and helpful and I have never had a complaint with the food. I really liked the wings I have had here a few times. The place is not large and can be crowded and on music nights if you get there early and get away from where they set up the band your time will be more enjoyable. The bar area has a lot of seating which fills quickly when a game is on. read more

Cute little restaurant/bar in a little strip mall across from Sweet Frog frozen yogurt. Super friendly table service and good food and beer specials. We always go on the night Honkey Tonk Outlaws is playing because its amazing old country music. They have all different bands come through but I'm a sucker for good country. My only recommendation is for the ladies working the bar those nights to smile a little. They look so pissed off most of the time. That wont deter me from a 5 star review. We never sit at the bar lol! read more

I'm writing this review to warn people of being served rotten chicken. Our family stopped in for lunch and my 9 year old son and I were served severely rotten chicken wings. We both consumed 2 before realizing it and both got sick from the spoiled chicken. This is not only totally unacceptable but extremely dangerous. I would not risk your health and would recommend you not consume any food from Mossy's. read more

I came in to pick up my order while it was pouring down raining and the hostess walked me to my car with an umbrella! She was so friendly and sweet! read more

Got the Buffalo Club, and it was really tasty. Smothered in buffalo sauce, which was excellent for me, but by the time I was halfway through the sandwich, it was super soggy, which prevented me from taking some home for my wife. Other than that, it was quite delicious, and a very fun atmosphere to watch some football with friends. read more

Food wasn't all that great for the price and the service was slow definitely over rated

chicken fajitas here are fantastic, the chicken clucker is also good. quick friendly service, reasonable prices. have been here often and food is always good read more

I've eaten here a few times thinking that each time might get better, but each time is more disappointing than the last. The service is slow but the real disappointment is the food. I think most of what I've eaten was pre-packaged and not really fresh or original. A limp salad and sloppy to-go order is the last straw. There are other places to eat and watch the game with better service and food. read more

Beer is good and cold. Wings were not so good. Good place to visit with friends and enjoy a beverage. Food has been better in past.

Food was very good and service was outstanding right up until I was ready to pay. Server decided to go on a ten minute discussion with the other servers at the front door. If you are going to make the effort to provide great service, be sure and finish what you start. read more

Mossys is a fun neighborhood restaurant with something for everyone. The service is good and there's never a long wait to get a table. You can come here as a family or come late night with friends and enjoy the bar. I've never had anything on the menu that was terrible. The buffalo chicken wrap, bang bang shrimp and spinach salad are my favorites! My daughter loves the skillet cookie. read more

Loud and not a place to bring the family on a Friday night. Better for sports fans that don't mind the noise. Food is average as well as service. Another typical sportsbar. It's great if you are into that. If you are looking for a more local flavor with a more casual experience go to a few places down the road. If you are wanting to be in on the a tion, then this is really the only place in town for that. Cheap beer and typical bar type food. read more

We had lunch on St Pats day and it was great. They also had Gennius beer which was fantastic !
