Highland Gaelic -- finest beer made in this state. Willing to argue this if necessary.
Mike M.

Let's talk about positives first. The beer selection suits me. I also like the general feel of the place; it's not stuffy at all. But it can get a little loud in here, more so than you'd expect from what I first expected to be a relaxed neighborhood bar. What's disappointing though is the service. Not that it's consistently bad, but it gets that way pretty frequently. I often feel forgotten about by the staff. And even when they are taking orders and such, the bartenders are lifeless and unwelcoming. A bar like this should be exactly the opposite, or so I expect. Would it hurt for the help to say a nice word or two, maybe even converse a little? So what could be a cool place to hang out is instead just a mediocre experience, and that's a shame.

Bar area in the distance, dart boards to the left and pool tables to the right.

I was out with friends and we ended up here to hang out and have some drinks. It was busy as it was a Saturday night. We paid the $5 cover since there was a band about to start. The service at the bar was quick especially since the place was packed. We made our way towards the back of the business to a vacant table by the dart boards. We played several rounds of darts and then onto shoot pool. Both the dart boards and pool tables were in very nice condition. The band playing was very good. They played a mix of 80's and 90's covers but had a kind of punk/alternative twist to it. The crowd was mixed with twenty somethings to probably mid 60's people. Overall a nice place to spend a Saturday night.

Good pool tables, space to watch a game and eat or have a beer. Lots of arcade games in the next room, spacious bar area.

We even had one come to our table and asked if we wanted refills which usually doesn't happen at breweries! They have so many beer options and you can mix them too which is fun. I had the pumpkin ale and mixed it with the oktoberfest beer and it was delicious! They have their own food truck outside where I got pretzel bites & cheese which were good. You can also order on the app which is convenient. It's super dog friendly which is always fun. Can't wait to go back for music bingo again soon

We called the day before and were told that their food truck was being repaired so a guest food truck would be there instead. That was perfectly fine with us. We arrived around 5:40pm, went inside to grab our drinks, found a table and then headed outside to order some food. But to our surprise, the food truck was already gone! It was supposed to be there until 7pm so we weren't expecting that. Even the Foothills staff seemed surprised and weren't sure why they had left early. It was disappointing because we had planned to spend more time there and enjoy some food and drinks. Unfortunately, I can't drink much without eating something so we ended up leaving after just one drink to find somewhere else to eat. My Apple Pie Cider tasted very good though! It's a shame because we would've happily stayed longer and ordered more drinks if food had been available. I'm not sure why the guest food truck left early but I do wish they had let the Foothills staff know so customers wouldn't be caught off guard. I want to make it clear that the only reason I'm giving 4 stars this time is because of the situation with the guest food truck. We had absolutely no issues with Foothills or its staff and I know this was beyond their control. I had actually planned to take a picture of our food with my second drink but that didn't happen so I just snapped a quick photo of the inside instead (and my dogs. LOL). I guess we'll have to wait until their own food truck is back before visiting again because I need food with my drinks! And As for tonight's guest food truck, I guess we'll never know how their food tastes. Oh well, their loss!

Wasn't the best and wouldn't get again. The peach lavender cocktail with champagne was too sweet so also wouldn't get again. It also didn't have enough of the bubbly-ness of champagne. The shrimp tacos without aioli were really good. Shrimp cooked perfectly. The lettuce and mango pico were fresh. Would get again. My fiancé had the pork mac and cheese. The portion was filling. The meat was flavorful, and the mac and cheese was pretty good. It was missing one ingredient that we couldn't place, but overall pretty good. We want to come back and try more entrees. Not so sure about the cocktails. Service was good. The waiter let my fiancé sample a cider he was interested in (it was okay, but we didn't order a full glass). He was on top of the order and checking in to make sure we were happy. The playlist was kind of all over the place but played songs we recognized and even liked. It's small inside with lots of outdoor seating, and the chairs inside aren't the most comfortable. But overall on a slow day like we experienced, we had a good enough time.

I ordered the Cajun Cod Wrap from their weekly specials menu after seeing the photo they posted on Facebook. It looked good but what I received was a total disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture. First of all, it was tiny. I honestly thought I'd been given a kid's meal. It was that small. And for $15? It definitely wasn't worth the price. Second, the wrap was only filled halfway, with the rest of it being mostly tortilla. Finally, I took a bite and couldn't taste any Cajun seasoning at all. I let my husband and son each try a bite as well and neither of them could taste any Cajun either. We rarely complain about our food but this time we had to. Our server was incredibly kind and immediately agreed that it looked nothing like it should. She went to get the manager but another staff member came over because the manager was busy. He was also very friendly, understanding and agreed that what I received wasn't right. He offered to either remove it from our bill or let me order something else. I chose the street tacos because I know those are always good. I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally they handled the situation. That said, something similar happened before when I ordered from their weekly specials menu so I've decided I won't be ordering from it again. I'll be sticking to their regular menu from now on.

Other than that, the coffee was delicious and satisfying. My friend got a cappuccino that he said was excellent as well. The place had the most beautiful aroma of freshly roasted coffee. Neither of us got anything to eat, but they did have a couple of options. I'm pretty sure one of them was a croissant of some sort and we will have to try that when we go back.
