Ciders on Tap

Really cute inside with a nice outdoor patio. The bartenders were friendly, the drink choices were solid and they have a food truck onsite with excellent wings. Next time we're in town for a track meet at JDL, we will be back.

Foothills is quite a trek but it's always a day well-spent, since there's typically seasonal fun festivities with music, vendors, and activities like their Octoberfest steinholding competition. Hazyum or Happyum are my go-to brews but they offer a variety of wine and THC beverages for non-beer drinkers as well as a plethora of family friendly options for kids. The food truck serves up tasty shareable and handhelds if you need some bar bites to tide you over. Their bartenders can handle a crowd so bring your whole crew!

A lovely evening at Foothills, we arrived during "movie night" on the weekend. A lot of people in lawn chairs in the parking lot watching a big screen that might possibly have been showing, and I'm not kidding here, cat videos. Over 100 people out there for that. We were inside where there was a live band playing loudly, some comfy seats in the back gave us some distance and enough quiet to be able to hold a conversation. I enjoyed a Foothills Torch Pilsner and it was awesome. Mrs. K., who doesn't drink alcohol, thoroughly enjoyed one of their Little Frees hemp-infused sparkling water. Enjoyed it so much that we bought a four-pack of that to bring home. With the drinks, a box of sushi from the Sushi Empire Food Truck. Delicious. Much fun had here and I will definitely return. Awesome! [Round number 22800 overall - 1777 of 2024 - 3697 in North Carolina]

Always love going here. Good foot traffic but rarely elbow to elbow packed. Makes for a more relaxed get away to venue. Space to be and welcoming yo Dogs inside and out. Two tenders that are knowledgeable on THEIR FHB BREWS and get the job done. Good plenty ample types or beer offerings. In addition can purchase cases to .... Plenty on Tap and even sell cans. Glass garage doors for adjustable fresh air management / enjoyment. Good venue for bands that play inside or outside depending on .... Ample tables and chairs for groups to hang. Not as much seating at the bar. Neat to see through glass into the warehouse / operations portion. Ami have been through a tour once so assuming additional tours happen occasionally. Great place to set up an event like for YELP, MEETUP or whatever. The SEXUAL CHOCOLATE STOUTS are hearty and I found 1 to be satisfying and enough. Ordered fries and tots from food truck. So so, not great but $7 and other menu prices are still reasonable during these inflationary times. Can order with QR code. Text notifications when ready for pickup. Summary a good place to relax and ...

Love coming here. There's always good beer and wine with a friendly atmosphere and weekend music. Its a fairly big place where they brew their own beer. Their brews are delicious! Ask for a taste or order your fave. They are happy to oblige. This weekend night I ordered a dark Chocolate stout aged in a Buffalo Trace cask. Very dark chocolaty taste and smooth as can be. My friend ordered a blackberry cider which was good as well. If you work up a sweat after dancing to the music just step out to the patio for a breath of fresh air or enjoy the fire pits on the patio during the colder months. If you sre hungry they always have a food truck just out the door. Spend some time here they've got everything you need!

My wife saw the Foothills Tasting Room was having an event this past Sunday afternoon and we thought we would check it out. We drove down the street where Foothills Tasing Room is located. There were quite a few vehicles parked up and down the street but we were able to find a spot relatively quickly. Upon getting out of the car we could hear the live music and saw quite a few tents set up for the vendors and a few food trucks. We decided to go into the tasting room first and order a cold beer. I enjoy a good IPA and was able to order a pint while we continued to explore. The tasting room itself is really nice and set up well. Even though they were very busy they seemed to have adequate staffing and an area to purchase swag, beer and also food from their food mobile. The other food trucks at this event were independent and orders needed to be placed directly at the food truck. The live music on the patio was nice and people were able to listen and enjoy the beautiful fall day. We wandered through the vendor tents and purchased a couple of things, they had a good variety of vendors. We were also impressed to see their calendar of events and plan to visit again very soon!

Fun atmosphere, nice folks, good food - what more could you want?? The tasting room is definitely worth a visit! My friends and came out to the tasting room for their Saturday "Yogammunity" event that they do - it was great! It's $10 for the class and free beer at the end. We ended up getting lunch from their Footmobile food truck. Food was classic bar food and was good! Generous portions but there was nothing exceptional about it though everything came out hot and tasty. The pretzel "bites" (torn up pretzel pieces) did get hard when they got cold and the cheese was definitely fake (which some do prefer). This is a great activity for a beautiful day as they have a lot of welcoming, outdoor seating. Check it out if you haven't been!

I come here usually when there are craft fair events, as it's a bit of a drive for me. I love the beer here. The Torch Pilsner is my go to. We met our dog at an adoption event here years ago so it definitely holds a special place in my heart. FYI: Right now there are no samples, flights or growlers. I noticed today they added a couple fire pits outside which is nice. They have a rewards program too. Check out their social media for events they hold- there are a lot. If it was closer to me this would probably be my usual hang out spot.

Yes ! Music bingo ! Do it ! So much fun and even better when you win !!! Great music and atmosphere. Great food truck food and honestly one of the quickest 3 hours I've spent anywhere !

This new semi permanent food truck situation hits the spot! While this is more of a production facility for foothills (the original bar and restaurant are downtown), this one has a really nice taproom area with all of the foothills favorites and some wine. Now with the food truck addition the dog friendly tap room is a great weekend afternoon stop.

We decided to venture out to this location instead of downtown. We arrived around 4 PM and were glad to see that they had the Pumpkin Ale back that we loved last year and ordered it. Unfortunately, they had no food options until 5 PM and I was really wanting something to go with it and don't usually do the food truck option that was outside and they did not have the giant pretzel that I wanted to go with the beer.

Pumpkin beer

Best pumpkin beer I ever had, and I've tried a lot !!!! It was nice and cold unlike the ones served in the sister location in downtown Winston. The bar guy new his stuff. Great roomy brewery, good for groups of friends/family. Indoor and outdoor seating is available. There wasn't really an option to order food. You might want to call ahead if you want to eat there or ask if you can bring your own food. I'd come back and bring my friends and get that pumpkin beer again.

Halloween decor

Everything was excellent! Beer was delicious food was amazing atmosphere very cool and the staff helpful and friendly. Loved it!

Is it dog friendly?

Super dog friendly with beer garden type seating. They even have treats for your dog at the bar and "yappy hour" on Tuesdays I believe

It was standing room only this evening, and we had to park it near the door near the food truck. Being near the door in February, my daughter was getting cold. A woman came over, propped the door OPEN, and proceeded to video the band from half way out the door. She said something to my daughter about her being cold, which my daughter was honest about, but was ignored as she continued to video. As any father would do, I stepped in and asked to close the door as my family is cold, and went back to where I was standing. She proceeded to get in my face and say, "I'm the OWNER here and I'm getting a video" and went back to what she was doing. No I'm sorry, no recognition of her patron's needs. Just complete dismissal and rudeness. Needless to say, we didn't spend another nickel there, and never will. We left and will never be back as long as someone with that view of their patrons is still in charge. Zero stars for service and ownership regardless of how good their product may be. No thanks, Karen.

I wasn't in a beer mood so I opted for the rum & coke slushy-refreshing but I'm pretty sure there is virtually no alcohol in it. Worked for me though, I was all about the flavor and in need of an icy drink. Bartenders were on top of things and no wait for anything we needed! Live music, a pizza truck outside, and a few vendors set up inside. Always a great time!

Service was fast, and the prices, while high, are comparable to other places. For the price, however, you're mostly getting some excellent quality plates. I recommend the dirty south burger, which I've had before, but this time I got the hot Winston chicken. I enjoyed the gochujang slaw on the side as well, but I like it as an included side. If I paid the full $5 for extra side, I wouldn't have been quite as pleased perhaps. Lace got the aforementioned burger, which I'm pleased to say is still delicious (I'll probably go back to it next time), and the fries are above average quality, too! Pours of draft beer seem to be in a smaller than average glass, but then they are keeping their beverage prices down this way.

However, the beer taste is noticeably off. I'm not sure what's affecting the flavor, but it does make me wonder whether the tap lines are being cleaned as regularly as they should be. We've tried them all, the hoppy IPAs, the lighter styles, some ciders and even the dark porters and the issue seems consistent across the board. Five friends who've joined us on different visits have said the same. At this point, I usually just order a margarita instead. Each beer or cider runs about $7, but the space itself is impressive: a large indoor area with plenty of picnic tables, additional seating outside, a dart wall, cornhole, and another beanbag toss game. Sometimes people will dance to the band but the seating is awkwardly close to wear the bands play. There is a restaurant beside Joymongers that will bring your food order to you, menus are placed at the brewery tables and when the bay doors are open, you can catch a truly beautiful sunset.
