Well Village Square tap house, it is a bar but it's a dang good place to hang out with friends. I…read morethink every weekend they have a live band either on Friday or Saturday night but we went to their Halloween party last week. LevelXperience was playing, which is an all-girls band and they were awesome! But they have two bars for service because they had recently bought the area beside them and now it's full of arcade games which are pretty fun as an adult after you've been drinking a bit. On one side they do have adult slushies. They have added more bathrooms and more pool tables, if you enter on the arcade side and they have a band you will need to pay an entrance fee. There's a local Dart group that competes each week and I know they have Super Bowl parties which includes food and prizes. The funny thing is, I asked the bartender on the arcade if they have Red Stripe, she said Yes, of course, it's been awhile since I've heard it called that!." Now she looked to be 24-28ish and bless her heart- she handed me a PBR. I looked at the bottle and was going to say something but hey, of course we all know PBR does have a red stripe in the label. But nonetheless, good prices and fun times. Plenty of people to sing along and dance with or play a round of pool. The Green Tea shots here are the best I've had anywhere. Plenty of parking and you are basically 10 feet away from the late night Taco Bell menu to help absorb the alcohol. If you're looking for a a quiet spot for a few minutes away from the music, they have an outdoor area to the right of the building, it is accessible without going inside first. You will have to show ID or your wristband at every entrance and the place is large enough to host a birthday party, a Friendsgiving get together or GNO, there's a hotel close by in case you go for their New Years Eve PARTY. A few of my friends and I actually had a hilarius Christmas photo shoot at VS Taphouse about 10 years ago. So good try a new cocktail for fall and get your pinball game on-Saturday and Sunday they open at 12 noon if you just want to take the kids to play a few old school arcade games.

Pool and darts offered however dart boards and darts were in very rough shape. Didnt get a chance to play pool so i cant comment on those conditions. Would i come back? Maybe.. but definitely wouldnt go out of my way to grab a beer here

So, it is with that in mind that I will say how much I love this place. A small unassuming place just over the border in Davidson county that is on of the first bars (if not THE first in Davidson county[not including Lexington and Thomasville]) to open in the county. !2 draft taps, 8-10 wines, and a full bar. Competent bar tenders with Alex and Cole know how to satisfy whatever thirst you may have. Ask Alex about Irish Whiskey...if you like Bourbon, get Cole to make you an Old Fashioned. They have pool leagues and tournaments, also darts. They have Karaoke and trivia..and now live music on Saturdays. Hungry? they have Boarshead sandwiches and chips or you are welcome to have your own food delivered there or bring some with you. Be prepared you do have to pay for a membership and sign in, but its a BIG $5 to join ! MY lady, who generally doesn't like bars, even enjoys it here, it's just a neighborhood feel. If you live in the area, or even if you don't, drop in and support them with a few drinks.

Pool tables, dart boards. A solid bar establishment. Friend turned me onto BODEGA SODA infused with THC. Feeling chill. BTW the AC tonight makes this place frigid for this guy in a t-shirt, shorts ans sandals. All in all invigorating. Also the 21ST AMENDMENT BLOOD ORANGE IPA dit my taste well. -- Somehow developed a leg crap and the barmaid dug up mustard, a real lifesaver and much appreciated.

We sampled a little bit of everything: the hot vanilla lattes, the Cubano, the cortado, and an almond croissant that tasted like it floated straight down from pastry heaven. Every single item was a flawless 10/10. The staff? Exceptionally warm and welcoming. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner--genuine, kind, and clearly passionate about the craft. The barista was equally lovely, adding to the charm of the whole experience. And the ambiance... wow. Clean, sleek, filled with natural light, and boasting an immaculate interior that feels both modern and inviting. To top it all off, they also offer a wonderful selection of wine and beer, perfect for unwinding or elevating your evening. This place doesn't just serve coffee; it sets the standard. It was excellent. I ordered the usual coffee shop, staple: and oat milk iced mocha latte. I asked for about half of the usual mocha they put in it, but I don't think that it was enough because I could barely taste the chocolate. When I go back, I will get the full serving of chocolate. Other than that, the coffee was delicious and satisfying. My friend got a cappuccino that he said was excellent as well. The place had the most beautiful aroma of freshly roasted coffee. Neither of us got anything to eat, but they did have a couple of options. I'm pretty sure one of them was a croissant of some sort and we will have to try that when we go back.
