Wasn't the best and wouldn't get again. The peach lavender cocktail with champagne was too sweet so also wouldn't get again. It also didn't have enough of the bubbly-ness of champagne. The shrimp tacos without aioli were really good. Shrimp cooked perfectly. The lettuce and mango pico were fresh. Would get again. My fiancé had the pork mac and cheese. The portion was filling. The meat was flavorful, and the mac and cheese was pretty good. It was missing one ingredient that we couldn't place, but overall pretty good. We want to come back and try more entrees. Not so sure about the cocktails. Service was good. The waiter let my fiancé sample a cider he was interested in (it was okay, but we didn't order a full glass). He was on top of the order and checking in to make sure we were happy. The playlist was kind of all over the place but played songs we recognized and even liked. It's small inside with lots of outdoor seating, and the chairs inside aren't the most comfortable. But overall on a slow day like we experienced, we had a good enough time.

I ordered the Cajun Cod Wrap from their weekly specials menu after seeing the photo they posted on Facebook. It looked good but what I received was a total disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture. First of all, it was tiny. I honestly thought I'd been given a kid's meal. It was that small. And for $15? It definitely wasn't worth the price. Second, the wrap was only filled halfway, with the rest of it being mostly tortilla. Finally, I took a bite and couldn't taste any Cajun seasoning at all. I let my husband and son each try a bite as well and neither of them could taste any Cajun either. We rarely complain about our food but this time we had to. Our server was incredibly kind and immediately agreed that it looked nothing like it should. She went to get the manager but another staff member came over because the manager was busy. He was also very friendly, understanding and agreed that what I received wasn't right. He offered to either remove it from our bill or let me order something else. I chose the street tacos because I know those are always good. I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally they handled the situation. That said, something similar happened before when I ordered from their weekly specials menu so I've decided I won't be ordering from it again. I'll be sticking to their regular menu from now on.

We sampled a little bit of everything: the hot vanilla lattes, the Cubano, the cortado, and an almond croissant that tasted like it floated straight down from pastry heaven. Every single item was a flawless 10/10. The staff? Exceptionally warm and welcoming. We even had the pleasure of meeting the owner--genuine, kind, and clearly passionate about the craft. The barista was equally lovely, adding to the charm of the whole experience. And the ambiance... wow. Clean, sleek, filled with natural light, and boasting an immaculate interior that feels both modern and inviting. To top it all off, they also offer a wonderful selection of wine and beer, perfect for unwinding or elevating your evening. This place doesn't just serve coffee; it sets the standard. Truly, this is the best coffee Winston has to offer. If you haven't been yet, do yourself a favor--go. I cannot recommend it enough.

I ordered the usual coffee shop, staple: and oat milk iced mocha latte. I asked for about half of the usual mocha they put in it, but I don't think that it was enough because I could barely taste the chocolate. When I go back, I will get the full serving of chocolate. Other than that, the coffee was delicious and satisfying. My friend got a cappuccino that he said was excellent as well. The place had the most beautiful aroma of freshly roasted coffee. Neither of us got anything to eat, but they did have a couple of options. I'm pretty sure one of them was a croissant of some sort and we will have to try that when we go back.

The menu is stacked with several certified bangers, so I'll have to come back for that patty melt. The giant pretzel is a must. Still, it's massive, served warm, and it's the perfect app to kick things off with a beer. Their Carolina Blonde reminds me of Natty's Wildflower, which I'm not a huge fan of. I should've passed on that and stuck with their Pilsner which was actually good. The half order of fish and chips is filling, especially while snacking on something else. It's crispy without being greasy, and the fish was fresh and flaky. I would order it again for sure, the pretzel too. Skip their Carolina Blonde though, it's just not it.

They did prepare it wrong but it was soooo good. It comes with a ton of jalapeno & smoked applewood bacon, monterey jack cheese, homemade bacon mayo, lettuce, tomato, red onion slices and 2 strips of sandwich pickles. It comes with a classic side and I opted for the fries. The fries were a little over cooked and greasy but still nice and soft like I prefer. Next time I may upgrade for a salad instead of the fries. I can't do a lot of greasy food these day. But overall I will definitely get this burger again.
