The grand opening was very well organized, there was nothing too crazy about it. That day it was pretty busy and also very beautiful inside. The spot is medium sized but has a lot of games inside which is good. I'm not sure exactly about the cost and I didn't play any games and haven't been back but it's worth trying it out.

Dive is not really that divey, i'm guessing "relax and hang out and play games in cocktailored comfort bar" was taken so "Dive Bar" it is... this location is way bigger and more above ground than the OG in Mooresville plus it has patio seating to get away from the madding crowd when it arrives as I'm sure it will, it just wasn't here (yet?) today but it's still early and still Thursday and a bit too warm for May. entry and main room have several games of "skill" and other amusements to give your hands something to do besides raising your glass. further back there's more games and some pool tables; a standard coin-op plays different than 'World Series o' Billiards' tables because, well, you know... you're in a bar! which, oddly enough, is exactly the same reason you could loose your house payment (if they allowed that sort of thing here (which they don't.)) it's a nice place, kinda glad I don't live too near here or I'd be here more often than not.

Personally I love a good dive that embraces what it is and doesn't have any pretension otherwise. Service here seemed straightforward and decent enough. They looked like they had a pretty decent and varied liquor selection. Beer selection wasn't super impressive but they had the important staples and one or two decent "fancier" craft beers. I only stopped in once but based on what I saw it seems like a decent place to check if you're tying one on downtown or just want somewhere chill to hang out during the day.

So that was a bit disappointing The space felt a bit Smokey, I suppose from years pst, but they do allow vaping inside which I wasn't a big fan of. Parking is a little tight up front, but if you come around the backside, there's a good sized parking lot back there with a rear door. You'll walk through the covered (and heated) outdoor smoking porch to get in, so if smoke bothers you, coming in the front door may be a better experience for you. Inside, there's two (free!) pool tables, and five (free!) dart boards. There's a TouchTunes jukebox (fun to Rick Roll/Nickelback the whole bar). The drinks are inexpensive, with good pours, and there's specials every night of the week. I don't usually put this in reviews, but since it's very unlike most bars, the restrooms are fantasic - big and clean. The bartenders Katie, Ashley, and Patricia are fantastic - it does get busy in there, especially over the weekend, but they do a good job of keeping drinks flowing. You can run a tab - they'll take your card and give it back when you close out. For what it is, it does it very well, so I'm giving it 5 stars. Come shoot some darts with us and share a beer!
