They know their craft, they remember your drink, and they make everyone feel like a regular--even if it's your first time. Shout out to Brooks too! He's a great addition to the team. The atmosphere is unbeatable--warm, welcoming, and just the right mix of lively and laid-back. Whether you're inside enjoying the cozy vibe or out on the deck soaking up the fresh air, it always feels like the perfect place to be. The deck, by the way, is a total game-changer, offering a great spot to relax with friends and enjoy a drink under the stars. Every time I step into The Tap, I feel like I belong. It's more than just a bar--it's a community, a home away from home, and a place I'll keep coming back to time and time again. If you're looking for great drinks, even better people, and an atmosphere that keeps you coming back, The Tap is where you want to be!

They've opened/reopened with an even lower sanitation rating than they had back in March under the previous owners. The band that was playing tonight was so loud that the bartender had to come from behind the bar to take my food order (that never came). I really wanted this place to do well considering they're the only "Irish" pub left in the Triad but, sadly, the outlook is grim which is very unfortunate.

Wasn't the best and wouldn't get again. The peach lavender cocktail with champagne was too sweet so also wouldn't get again. It also didn't have enough of the bubbly-ness of champagne. The shrimp tacos without aioli were really good. Shrimp cooked perfectly. The lettuce and mango pico were fresh. Would get again. My fiancé had the pork mac and cheese. The portion was filling. The meat was flavorful, and the mac and cheese was pretty good. It was missing one ingredient that we couldn't place, but overall pretty good. We want to come back and try more entrees. Not so sure about the cocktails. Service was good. The waiter let my fiancé sample a cider he was interested in (it was okay, but we didn't order a full glass). He was on top of the order and checking in to make sure we were happy. The playlist was kind of all over the place but played songs we recognized and even liked. It's small inside with lots of outdoor seating, and the chairs inside aren't the most comfortable. But overall on a slow day like we experienced, we had a good enough time.

This visit was a mix of disappointment and appreciation…read more My son is back home for the summer and he chose The Quiet Pint for dinner. Everything was great except for my dish. I ordered the Cajun Cod Wrap from their weekly specials menu after seeing the photo they posted on Facebook. It looked good but what I received was a total disappointment. It looked nothing like the picture. First of all, it was tiny. I honestly thought I'd been given a kid's meal. It was that small. And for $15? It definitely wasn't worth the price. Second, the wrap was only filled halfway, with the rest of it being mostly tortilla. Finally, I took a bite and couldn't taste any Cajun seasoning at all. I let my husband and son each try a bite as well and neither of them could taste any Cajun either. We rarely complain about our food but this time we had to. Our server was incredibly kind and immediately agreed that it looked nothing like it should. She went to get the manager but another staff member came over because the manager was busy. He was also very friendly, understanding and agreed that what I received wasn't right. He offered to either remove it from our bill or let me order something else. I chose the street tacos because I know those are always good. I really appreciated how smoothly and professionally they handled the situation. That said, something similar happened before when I ordered from their weekly specials menu so I've decided I won't be ordering from it again. I'll be sticking to their regular menu from now on.

Who makes someone scream from across the room? Even the people sitting at the bar were like, 'wow'. Clearly, he didn't want to wait on us. I just walked away. The barista was equally lovely, adding to the charm of the whole experience. And the ambiance... wow. I ordered the usual coffee shop, staple: and oat milk iced mocha latte. I asked for about half of the usual mocha they put in it, but I don't think that it was enough because I could barely taste the chocolate. When I go back, I will get the full serving of chocolate. Other than that, the coffee was delicious and satisfying. My friend got a cappuccino that he said was excellent as well. The place had the most beautiful aroma of freshly roasted coffee. Neither of us got anything to eat, but they did have a couple of options. I'm pretty sure one of them was a croissant of some sort and we will have to try that when we go back.

The menu is stacked with several certified bangers, so I'll have to come back for that patty melt. The giant pretzel is a must. Still, it's massive, served warm, and it's the perfect app to kick things off with a beer. Their Carolina Blonde reminds me of Natty's Wildflower, which I'm not a huge fan of. I should've passed on that and stuck with their Pilsner which was actually good. The half order of fish and chips is filling, especially while snacking on something else. It's crispy without being greasy, and the fish was fresh and flaky. I would order it again for sure, the pretzel too. Skip their Carolina Blonde though, it's just not it.
