Friday night was super busy but was still able to get a drink in a timely manner. Every Friday they alternate between bingo at 8:00 PM and line dancing class. At 9 PM karaoke takes over and it is a truly awesome experience. This bar has a great atmosphere! They offer pool tables, darts, and awesome outdoor patio area with A TV, and table games you can play anywhere or you can find a spot. It's in close proximity to a Chinese restaurant and a really good Italian restaurant where you can bring in food and eat while you enjoy your beverages. Dogs are also allowed! One of the only bars I enjoy going to. Always such nice company all the bartenders are fantastic! My favorite part is that I can bring my dog in here to watch football on Sunday or really any day of the week as long as it isn't too packed. They always have awesome specials going on like $5 bloody Mary's and $3 mimosas on Sunday. When we go it isn't normally to crowded but if you go on a Friday or Saturday night expect it to be pretty busy especially if they have live music. They always have different events going on like low country boils, dart tournaments and pool tournaments as well as trivia. It's such a friendly local bar located in the town of Lewisville. Usually I always see someone here that I know and you can bring outside food if you get hungry. I recommend stopping by if you're in the area. read more

I've lived in Winston Salem for the past 4 years now and have recently found Old Nick's. I wished I would have found it much much sooner. This place seriously rocks. They have great events such as the Luck of the Draw darts, pool league which I really enjoy, and most every night there is something going on like karaoke, trivia, and LIVE MUSIC. Along with a great beer selection, this place is great. But what truly makes Old Nick's stand above the rest is its regulars. On any given night, one feels as if you are hanging out with old friends. Came here today for a scotch tasting and met the owner. I have never been here before and it's located in a random spot next to a Lowe's Grocery. $1 buys you a lifetime membership and the place is freaking packed. Live music tonight and lots of friendly people. Definitely a place I would come to again. Beer prices were broad and reasonable. $3 for a Yuengling Bottle - as a PA boy I loved this. Broad Bourbon and Whiskey Selection if you are into that - and I am. Pool tables and foosball take up a lot of space. People jammed everywhere. They are doing something special here. Check it out. Nice little place but seems like a 40's+ sort of hangout. Drinks were ok, bartender was friendly as well as the crowd. They had live music at my first visit, sounded good. Overall a nice little place if you don't want to go to Winston and you're in the mood to chill. Prices weren't bad and restaurants are in the same shopping center. read more

This was a new pub to me that l had never been to and was delighted to find. It is quiet and friendly and has free pool. Tables are in good shape but there are only 2 as this is a small bar. If you get bored with pool they have several dart boards to take advantage of. I hear on the weekends they have live music. I will definitely be back for that and a nice game of pool. read more

This place is so cool! I can't believe I've lived so close to it for years and never knew about it. We went last night for trivia and I just fell in love. There are darts, pool, a lounge of sorts and a patio. We sat at the bar mostly so I got to watch the bartender make up some really cool drinks. She was the only one working and she was on top of things! The bar was stocked with something for everyone. Along with little note cards suggesting drinks. I was drinking wine last night since it was on special but when I go back, I want to try some of the different cocktails I saw being made. Dogs are allowed because food isn't served but you can order food to be delivered or bring your own food in. This seems like a very laid back place to come and hang out and it isn't just crappy beer. I find this bar to be lacking in atmosphere and the bartenders are down right rude. If you are not one of their regulars, good luck getting their attention. Their beer menu is lacking and very hard to read. I do not suggest this bar unless you are into dive bars with locals that clearly get overly intoxicated. read more

Been here a few times over the past few days. Great tap with nice big imperial pints. Lowe's is right next door for convenient snacking. Pool tables & dartboards seem to be well maintained. Had a trivia night w/ half price bottles of wine. The only reason this is not a 5-star was the amount of ads during the trivia. One per round is enough. This is a great place! We go there at least several times a week. The staff is always friendly and prompt. Love the free darts and pool. They have a great beer selection and phenomenal mixed drinks. These guys can literally make anything. We have brought many of our friends there and Old Nicks has quickly became their bar of choice. Every new place has growing pains but rest assured those pains are long gone. As far as the comment about "no guns allowed"...I have a simple question. Why would you want to carry a gun in a bar? One goes to a bar to drink. And as you state it is illegal to carry while drinking. read more

I went to Old Nick's Pub and had a great time! The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The staff was friendly and knowledgable about the craft beers they serve, along with the domestic and import beers, and a nice selection of wines. They have two pool tables that are free to play, and 4 dart boards. I'm glad a pub like this has opened in Lewisville. There are not many choices of places to go to relax, enjoy good company, and have a wide selection of beers to choose from. I will definately be back soon. read more

Have been to Old Nick's Pub a number of times now and we must say, what a great place! The owners and the staff are super friendly, the rotating selection of micro-brews (20 oz glasses) is outstanding and the atmosphere in general is very enjoyable. We throw darts most nights, the boards are good quality and well lit, although lately we have been taking advantage of the free pool tables. Once or twice a month they host some live music. Not sure if this is always the case but we haven't had to pay a cover as yet. Sorry. We tried. We really did. When we entered we were told that the membership cost was only going to be $1. Soon, it became abundantly clear that this was a $1 member crowd. Waited almost 10 minutes before being approached by a bartender. Then they were out of everything and the 3 bartenders made jokes about the owners "learning." Husband's Guiness was poured all wrong (I told the bartender he was lucky it wasn't my beer because I wouldn't have accepted it). Then several drunks literally physically hung on me, my friend's husband, and another random customer. To top off everything that was wrong, nicks is posted. That means that legal concealed carry owners, who have passed a background check, learned to care for their weapon and to shoot it, and are law abiding citizens (who legally don't drink when they're carrying their weapon btw), aren't welcome. (What do you know about your customers who haven't gone through this extensive background check and training?) No thanks, nicks. Keep your crappy service and your overpriced (even though you keep trying to explain why it isn't) bad pours. Lewisville won't stand this for long! read more

We were impressed with the happy staff (the tatted bar girl was super cool), the updated decor made a great bar scene, wide choices of draft beers and super music performers that weren't overbearing. My wife and I are regulars at Old Nick's. We live in Lewisville and have met more of our neighbors at Nick's, since they opened, from an affluent neighborhood close by than in the last 5 years we lived here. As for the '' Crowd " it's a well educated, polite middle aged clientele. I have never seen anything that resembled bad behavior, however in a bar sometimes a few unruly folks may come in. Also how hard is it to pour a beer and what is your problem? Maybe Julie needs to go to Dublin for a Guinness but most folks are fine with the local bartenders. As for firearms anyone with an IQ of 70 can pass the Concealed and Carry class. I personally feel they are more of a danger to bystanders in a confrontation than a benefit. Unlike many of the private bars in Forsyth county that charge a higher membership fee, billiards and darts are included. All in all Nicks is a great place to have a drink, play some games and socialize with the community. read more
