Not sure why, but it was missing whatever makes a good reuben. I also had a Cuban sandwich. That's a new addition that was decent but not amazing. My wife had fish and chips. The fish was good. One of the kids had chicken tenders which were good. The other kid had shepherd's pie which was bland. The others at the table said everything was fine, but I didn't taste. We were waited on by Dennis, and he was really nice and kept the plates spinning. Overall, not bad at all, but not the same food.

The band that was playing tonight was so loud that the bartender had to come from behind the bar to take my food order (that never came). I really wanted this place to do well considering they're the only "Irish" pub left in the Triad but, sadly, the outlook is grim which is very unfortunate.

LevelXperience was playing, which is an all-girls band and they were awesome! On one side they do have adult slushies. They have added more bathrooms and more pool tables, if you enter on the arcade side and they have a band you will need to pay an entrance fee. There's a local Dart group that competes each week and I know they have Super Bowl parties which includes food and prizes. The funny thing is, I asked the bartender on the arcade if they have Red Stripe, she said Yes, of course, it's been awhile since I've heard it called that!." Now she looked to be 24-28ish and bless her heart- she handed me a PBR. I looked at the bottle and was going to say something but hey, of course we all know PBR does have a red stripe in the label. But nonetheless, good prices and fun times. Plenty of people to sing along and dance with or play a round of pool. The Green Tea shots here are the best I've had anywhere. Plenty of parking and you are basically 10 feet away from the late night Taco Bell menu to help absorb the alcohol. If you're looking for a a quiet spot for a few minutes away from the music, they have an outdoor area to the right of the building, it is accessible without going inside first. You will have to show ID or your wristband at every entrance and the place is large enough to host a birthday party, a Friendsgiving get together or GNO, there's a hotel close by in case you go for their New Years Eve PARTY. A few of my friends and I actually had a hilarius Christmas photo shoot at VS Taphouse about 10 years ago. So good try a new cocktail for fall and get your pinball game on-Saturday and Sunday they open at 12 noon if you just want to take the kids to play a few old school arcade games.

It was great to be amongst my colleagues to support the band. The bar area features four taps as well as bottled beer, wine, and at least some hard liquor. I chose the IPA by local brewery, Wiseman Brewing, which was one of the options on tap. It has been my experience that prices in venues which are within a hotel/event center tend to be more expensive because they usually have somewhat of a captive audience. My IPA pints were $9.50 each plus a tip. We did see a few people ordering food and I did track down a menu to post. Overall, the venue was nice, clean and the staff was friendly. The band, City Lights was really, really good and we enjoyed ourselves. However, we do feel the prices were a bit steep.

It's the first time they have tried a chefs table offering and for $55 for 8 courses plus this amazing menu, we were in! It was such a nice touch getting to know the chef de cuisine and having her explain each dish and the stories behind them. It gives such a personal view of the flavors and pairings that you wouldn't get otherwise. The food was nothing short of amazing, but that's the norm for this spot we have called a favorite for several years now. The portion sizes were about half of what they would normally be but they were the perfect size when you're getting served eight courses.
