In my quest to explore Alameda, we ran across this cheers vibe cafe (80's TV reference, look it up young folks) that faces the eastern waters. We Sat on our bar stools and I enjoyed the Croissant egg and cheese with avocado and my husband the Croissant egg and cheese add turkey- fresh carved turkey, not sandwich meat! Croissant was lovely, great outer flake, soft inner texture. I enjoyed the Dirty chai- instead of espresso a shot of cold brew that was amazing. We tried the Aunt Ricci cinnamon bread- made with a 100 year old bread mother! We had our baby, I would recommend it be somewhere you go for just yourself or for you and your boo, space is limited. read more

Such a cute spot for a light breakfast or lunch or just a cup of coffee. It's located right on the marina, so there's a great view from every seat. The staff here is super nice. There's counter seating overlooking the bay or small tables along the dock. The food is not bad either. What we ordered: + croissant sandwich with ham and egg and avocado: the croissant was crispy outside and oh so buttery. The ham and egg was smothered with melted white cheddar. Very yummy. The same sandwich with turkey is really good too. + apple cinnamon muffin: nice muffin with chunks of apples and sprinkled with cinnamon sugar on top. + hot chocolate: not bad. The estuary location is most excellent but sadly the food and service both fall seriously short. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Latte way too sweet, quiche too watery (and served the wrong one), chairs uncomfortable, line flow makes no sense and has people tripping over each other, and bacon undercooked.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Too bad for Alameda; the potential of the location is endless the execution is not good. read more

Mosley's is a homey cafe with a charming view of the marina. The menu contains the perfect combination of comforting breakfast bites and cozy drinks, including their well-known croissant sandwich and quiche. The croissant sandwich and avocado toast were slightly overpriced but absolutely delicious; 10/10 would recommend. The Alameda Fog (similar to a London Fog but with black tea) was just what I needed on a cold East Bay morning. Staff is super friendly and feel like your neighbors. Would definitely stop by again for a light breakfast bite! read more

Located at the Alameda Marina, Mosley's is a charming little breakfast/brunch spot, with a beautiful view. You can sit indoors under the canopy, or out on the deck for some sun. The food is very tasty, try the turkey & cheese croissant with egg & avocado - yum! They serve beer and wine, and make a great mimosa. The service is welcoming and friendly. This is a great place to stop in for coffee or a light meal after a walk on the bay trail that goes along the marina. First time here but my partner and I walk by it frequently. I think she has been here before back in the day. So, I love the water. I grew up with boats and have had several over the years so I love its on the water. But more important the food is awesome. I had the sausage and cheese quiche and my partner had the croissant with turkey and cheese. For drinks she had momo's...duh, and I started with JJJ sparkling and coffee. So the quiche was so good I went with another slice and my partner went with the grilled cheese. Hey, we just walked along the bay trail for 6.5 miles and had another 2 to go. I also had a glass of the Redwood cab. A great menu with extensive list of teas, beers etc. I want to go back and try more food offerings. So it is small but mighty. There is a counter inside for seating and tables as well as a counter outside and as I said it's right on the water. The local pigeons are very polite but they will eyeball you if you aren't tossing crumbs there way. Also, very dog friendly. There is artwork on the wall for sale as well as postcards etc from local artists. Oh and let's not forget the extensive supply of hot sauces sitting on the shelf. It's not The French Laundry but for an awesome breakfast/lunch diner it is a place I will make plans to go to while walking by or will driving to. So it's a 5 in my book read more

I can't remember, but it was either Scott or Steve who gave us the charcuterie board togo since we were going on a duffy boat from BAE BOATS which was next door. He was so friendly! The charcuterie board was STACKED with so many different things. So yummy! The fruits were nice and fresh too! Nice cheeses, yummy crackers. My fav was the persian cucumbers! read more

The cutest charcuterie board there ever was, thank you Mosley's Cafe! We were pleasantly surprised by just how much food was packed in, and everything was so tasty! This fed our group of 8 and we still had leftovers!! A great selection of fresh veggies & fruits, sweets, meats, and crackers. First of all, AMAZING service. If you want your coffee 1/3 sweet, they do not roll their eyes--they make it 1/3 sweet and it is just fantastic. Great coffee. Do not skip the Friendship Bread, and when they offer to heat it up, say YES. Soooo good. They also have breakfast sandwiches, grilled cheese, iced teas, hot teas, daily specials... it's great for lunch or breakfast. Do NOT go on Monday, or you will cling to the fence and cry like my son and I did. They are CLOSED on Mondays. ...but open Tu-Sun! And it is glorious. There are open-air tables or you can sit at the "bar" type seats out in the air or under the canvas awning. And dogs are welcome! And fawned over. (and given bits of cheese if it's OK with you.) My son and I started going regularly in the morning as our daily walk and it's been SUCH a nice way to start our days. Give 'em a visit! read more

The food and drink selection is small, but what they do have, they do it well! I love their croissant sandwiches and scones. Their iced mocha is my favorite! You order at the counter, and they will bring the food and drinks to you on pretty plates and cups, unless you ask for takeout. The prices are high, but you're paying for the experience and ambience, since it's on the waterfront. Parking is limited around the area, but it helps limit the number of people, which helps because there is not a lot of seating either. It's best to get there earlier in the day to get parking and a seat. read more

This is a quaint little place on the water front if you're looking for a really low key meal. You can also bring your pup too, which is why we went. Parking - there's 2 lots that aren't really marked and street parking if you wanna walk a bit. Pay attention to signs tho in the lot to not park in truck/boat parking if you park in that lot. Service was really friendly and helped with our questions. I saw a coconut bliss drink that peaked my interest and the way it was explained to me made me really want to try it. It was really tasty with the coconut cream, vanilla and cardamom. If you're lactose intolerant, def give it a try. I also got the Some like it hot special. It was a warm croissant with egg, tomato, spinach and peppercinis. It definitely hit the spot with it being cold outside. read more

Whatever you do, do not get the everything bagel with cream cheese, it was extremely small and hard as a rock because they toasted it way too long. They do have food, but I have had trouble finding a seat on a busy Sunday morning. This cafe is dog friendly - its mostly outside so there are no issues. Feel free even to bring your cat. My goto food item here are the scones. They are made fresh and have the perfect moisture content. Not too dry, not too moist. Try the lavender scone or the cranberry scone. The cranberry one was nice, with dried cranberries that were still somehow moist, the orange scone was full of citrus zest, and the lavender scone tasted like a fragrant field.
