Honeydew wrap

I love this place. Parking is kind of confusing, but that's just town for you. They have a place that one hour free parking In a parking garage nearby Get their wrap, the chewiness of the wrap with the honeydew Melon ice cream is so good with the crunchy peanut topping stuff. They offer a discount if you write a review and also, if you have a UH ID or can pull up your U.H star login stuff. I like that they sell the peanut cookie on the side in an individually wrapped package. Service was nice and helpful. The two times I went. Ambiance was chill. They have seating for maybe 20 people.

P.S.A: Happy Hour 50% off 4-7pm! Exclusions in detail on IG. Mosa near University is my go-to late night snack option in Oahu, but also one of my favorite dessert places overall because of their Taiwanese ice cream crepe wraps. Went with my friends after a nice dinner and it definitely satisfied my dessert cravings. I didn't realize this dessert usually has cilantro in Taiwan, but I'm glad they just have sweets here. Love their ube, honeydew mochi, and coconut flavors. 10/10, probably came here at least 5 times now.

Unique type of ice cream from Taiwan. They have lots of places to sit down inside. The ice cream itself is super tasty and we loved the peanut shavings. The only downside is that it's really expensive in my opinion for how little ice cream you get. $13 for the crepe is too much. $7 for one scoop of ice cream is also too expensive for how small the scoop is. Service was friendly and quick. We enjoyed playing on the Nintendo switch after enjoying our ice cream.

Yummy ice cream in Honolulu!! Friendly staff and cute decor inside. Lots of people on a Saturday night, but not too crowded where we waited very long. The ice cream comes on these cute little plastic pots, and a shovel spoon! So cute. No bathrooms at this store, so beware! Prices are a bit steep but it's expected. The shaved peanuts are what they're known for and they are absolutely scrumptious!! You must get them on your ice cream.

Came here for the first time at this location. Ordered the 3 scoops crepe with mango, coffee, and ube ice cream. Very delicious and fulfilling. Staff are friendly and fast. I've only noticed street parking available. They do have a good amount of tables to chill at. Staff are friendly and fast. I've only noticed street parking available. We visited the Mosa University location on a quiet Thursday afternoon around 3 PM. When we entered the shop, there was no immediate greeting or acknowledgment. We called out "hello" a few times but no one came out from behind the counter. Eventually, a young staff member spoke to us from the back area behind the wall instead of coming forward to greet us or assist us directly. She asked from there if we were ready to order, but did not step out or engage with us at the counter. It also appeared she had been on her phone prior to assisting. To the owner: we are regular fans of Mosa (the Waikiki location) which is why we wanted to share this feedback. This particular experience felt quite different from what we normally expect and we hope it can help improve customer service consistency and staff presence at the counter. Despite this, we still enjoyed our ice cream and had a nice time overall. We also took some cute photos that day (April 16). Thank you for taking the time to listen to customer feedback.

We came here after having dinner at Yakiniku Like. I chose their best seller which is Crepe Style. Three choices of ice cream and added in macadamia nut sprinkles. I got the best of the best. The girl behind the counter was very cheerful and helpful. She explained what their special was and what it contained. After explaining it to me, say no more. I'm hooked. I chose Ube, honeydew mochi and blueberry cheesecake. It seemed to me that the amount of ice cream is not equally same. The Ube on top has the most ice cream, the honeydew melon in the middle had the second most and the bottom which was blueberry cheesecake the least amount. Let's start with Ube. I love Ube so that was great. The honeydew mochi really didn't have any mochi that i could taste. It was still good like Melona. Then lastly it's the blueberry cheesecake. There really wasn't much of it to give you a review. I could hardly taste the blueberry or the cheesecake. It was really good but if you want more ice cream, choose the cup size. I'm not sure but I think you get a little more doing it that way. Oh they also top the Crepe with strawberries. This is a place where the younger generation hangs out. They also have a video game that you can play for free i think. It's a fun place with good vibes.

Pleasantly surprised by how yummy this ice cream burrito was. Wish there was more peanut shavings inside though. They use delicious ice cream! No thrills about this place - walk in, decide if you want a burrito or a scoop, and pick your flavors. Wasn't sure where to park though, so parked in the lot i usually do for Nijiya and picked up something from there on the way out (there's a scan qr on their door for a free hour).

2 scoops: Blueberry cheesecake and honeydew mochi with peanut toppings $9-10

I thought of this dessert spot one night after our dinner. I believe this is their 2nd location, and seems a little bit more convenient than Waikiki. It's a cute and bright spot. Very welcoming staff. We ordered a 2 scoop ice cream with peanut shaving topping. The ice cream flavor we got was honeydew mochi and blueberry cheesecake. Such unique flavors here. It was very good...creamy and not too sweet. Definitely will be back to try other flavors. They have the macnut topping for a limited time.

Peanut candy shavings!!!

You're really going for the nut shavings here as the ice cream and the wrap is really nothing special. However, I loved peanut toppings! Reminds me of a Chinese traditional dessert that I love! I tried the Mac nut too but definitely prefer the peanut one, more aromatic and satisfying. You could fit up to 3 flavors of ice cream in a regular or mini wrap. I got coffee and taro and they're both delicious. The interior looks a bit dated but it's not dirty at least, acceptable. There's also video games by the entrance and it's a fun place to eat some dessert and play some games. Friendly service too.

Love love love their crepe ice cream rolls! The peanuts are definitely a good mix to balance out the sweetness from the ice cream and add texture to the dish. The crepe wrapper is very soft and overall it's a very refreshing sweet treat to eat after a heavy meal. The staff was very nice and gave me a wet paper towel because I spilt on my jeans (oops). They also came out with it very fast. The place can get crowded pretty quickly at night, but overall great spot

I did have an upset moment because my gps said I would get to Asato's at 1:58 so mentally I decided "I guess I didn't need it". But... lucky for me, traffic was in my favor and there was no delays, no red lights, and a parking space right out front so I got out of the car at precisely 1:55! Whew, I checked in and ran inside, excited that I made it. Also, super happy they were not sold out. You know I also cannot just get 1 pint. I took home 2 Pumpkin Custard, a Strawberry and candied ginger (which i got for mom so she doesnt get mad that I restocked the freezer). I did a purse grab and go so fast I did not notice the duchess status until going back to the car! So woohoo! I will definitely be sure to post a photo of my homemade pumpkin pie with the homemade deliciousness of pumpkin custard sherbert later this week! Happy Thanksgiving!

I've seen this place packed before with all tables filled and a line. Weekdays in the afternoon might be good timing! The vibe was your average "ice cream" ambiance. I loved the photos so you can see your options. IMO, the menu board lighting was a little weird, I thought when I was taking a photo it was my eyes, then thought it was the lighting from outside, but I think it's lit by bulbs? Idk. LOL. You can still read the menu but at first glance, you will question if it's your vision. LOL. My "mini" Mahalo-halo was perfect! It didn't make me feel that guilty at all. I mean, I'm all about dessert before a meal. In my experience, it is always a challenge to eat Halo halo because it's filled to the top. My strategy: take off the cover (if it's not overspilling: if it is, skip this step), eat some of the ice cream, and take a few sips! That should leave you enough room to mix everything, each scoop you should get a different bite. A long spoon would be best for the larger sizes! Magnolia did not disappoint. I'll be back!!

Sharing is caring…read more At work we discuss many topics but food seems to be high on the list. A handful of colleagues talk about the Spumoni ice cream you get from a popular US chain family restaurant. You see pistachio, cherry and chocolate ice cream but that doesn't roll with me. I've mentioned to them the Spumoni from La Gelateria but sadly no one seems to know about this place. La Gelateria started in 1981 making gelato and sorbetto. They generally are wholesale catering to restaurants and also do retail with online ordering. Their store appears to be small as there's a dedicated section for walk in purchase for grab and go. As morale has been low in the office, I decided to cheer up the mood by using my lunch break hour to grab several pints of gelato for home and picked up individual cups for my colleagues. I think the staff was thrown off by my asking of 20 Spumoni cups but they didn't have that many available so I took all 16 and added on 5 of their seasonal pumpkin and chocolate chip gelato. The staff re-rung my purchase of what I ordered via their online portal. I used the waiting time to grab spoons. After my purchase was all settled, I hopped back into my car and headed back to the office. Upon arrival badk to the office I placed my 4 pints in the freezer to take home later and then kmmediately distributed the individual cups to my colleagues. They were delightfully surprised and most of them took up on my offer. THE VERDICT: Clearly my colleagues preferred La Gelateria's Spumoni over what they've been given at the other restaurant. They immediately noticed the candied citrus bits and some dark chocolate chips. As staff were given the choice of flavor, some opted for the pumpkin chocolate chip and also got back good feedback. On average I order from La Gelateria about 1-2 a year to satisfy my Spumoni fix. I also enjoy other flavor offerings and their seasonal holiday flavors. Their superior quality of gelato has me a fan of La Gelateria where I come back for more. NOTE: Be sure to check your online order as 3 of the 4 flavors I selected were incorrect. It was easily resolved when I addressed the error to the staff who immediately corrected it.

All their fruit items use real fruit and I was delighted to see they had both lychee sorbet and ice cream. I haven't had sobert many times before but having spent all day in the Hawaiian heat and humidity, it sounded more enticing than ice cream. After a dinner of pasta, the idea of having a heavy/milky dessert also didn't sound appealing. I paid $10 (cash only) for a styrofoam cup of lychee sobert. Upon retrieving it from the freezer, I was surprised at how solid and frozen it felt. I was planning to eat it back at my hotel which was a 10 minute walk away, so I wasn't bummed at how frozen it was. It didn't melt in the slightest despite it still being mid 70s outside. The sorbert was INCREDIBLE. With the small bite of lychee scattered within the sorbert, it tasted exactly like a frozen lychee. Instead of digging my spoon in like ice cream, I scraped away at it. It was icy and so refreshing; exactly what I needed after battling the heat all day. And I didn't feel guilty eating it! My only regret is finding out that this place was only around the block from Roy's Waikiki, where I had dinner the previous night and was left unsatisfied by their chocolate souffle.
