Ordered for delivery, talked to 4 different people. Order still showed up wrong. When I called to inquire they were rude and combative and refused to make it right. Not the way to want to introduce yourself to a new community. read more

The food here was pretty good! I knocked one star off because the waitress was more attentive to the folks in the bar area so we ended up waiting an extensive amount of time for our food and then to re-order drinks. And the second star was knocked off because the rosemary potatoes and shrimp scampi I had for my Mo's steak and seafood meal were like warm. It was as if they plated it way before my steak was done cooking. And then, I ordered medium well and got well done steak. Although I don't mind having big chunks of crab in my dip, I felt as though there wasn't enough cream cheese in it. Drinks were great! read more

It's been over a decade since I've been back to Mo's. Some things are the still the same. - HUGE oysters, well shucked, at reasonable prices +1 - AMAZING, large, full, well seasoned crab cakes with VERY little filler +2 - REASONABLE PRICES +1 They had rented out the main room for a party and I think I'm STILL partially deaf from that experience. So I get why services were impacted, but good service has always been something I enjoyed at Mo's. A few mis-steps (having to walk over to find someone to get us water, cold side) make up the missing . read more

Walked in it was pretty empty, not an issue super happy about that Sat at the bar Bartender approached and I had to notify her to wipe the table so that's why I give four stars because it was crumbs on the counter that she should've been aware of Food was good drinks were strong enough but not nasty so you get a bang for your buck LITERALLY . Calamari was okay, a little bland had to add seasoning read more

Ordered buffalo wings to go. Got home, mouth watering for wings, and they gave me, burnt wings. Terrible. I called and a rude person confirmed they don't deserve my hard earned money. And they don't deserve the mandatory to go tip. I will not eat here again. I tried to post a pic but can't. read more

Came here with out of town family who don't have seafood where they live. The food was okay but the service was AWFUL!!!!!! The ambiance was terrible, the music before 9PM was way too loud and we couldn't even hear the person sitting next to you. We had to scream just to talk. We came here to show our family a good time, had a $500 bill but we will never return and will tell our friends and relatives not to come here. read more

Consistently AMAZING!!! This is the second year in a row my church culinary ministry socialized at Mo's. The service is top-notch! Adrianna, our server, was precise with our orders, expedient with the kitchen, and quick on her feet with a politeness and a smile. The food was hot and plentiful. So much variety. Well seasoned and delicious. I can't wait to come back again!!! read more

Went to Mo s Sunday afternoon party at 7 will receive it in a dark dirty room in the back the floor had food and gum and trash I asked the server the said just left over from last night we cleaned the floors on Monday it was disgusting the bathroom wow unbelievable so my suggestion is if you want a overpriced seafood try anywhere else. I understand understaffing I understand underpaid but do not understand filth and discuss in a public place read more

I wasn't impressed by this place. I was actually really annoyed. I'm giving it 2 stars because, my Obay chicken wings were tasty. However, the guests in my party, including myself were disappointed in the amount of time it took to receive our orders. Two of my friends ate a couple of my wings because, they were hungry and had been waiting a while for their food. When their food arrived they were unable to stay and eat it because, both had 4 hour drives back to Richmond, VA and New Jersey respectively. The wait was ridiculous. My margarita tasted like apple cider, and that's a "no no"! So overall I wasn't impressed, and I probably won't return. read more

Excellent crab imperial, practically any seafood. Great portions for every meal!!!! So tasty & the service is fantastic!!!

This is my first time in this Mo's location. I came here for a group birthday dinner. We arrived late but luckily everyone was allowed to get separate checks. This alone counts for 1 of the 4 stars that I'm giving them. I hate going to large birthday dinners and having to split one big check. So kudos to Mo's allowing that speaking of checks they do add gratuity to your check. I'm not sire if it's because it's late, it's a large group, or if it's customary. Either way it is what it is. When I walked in I must say that I was impressed how nice the floors were, how open it is, and how clean it looks. This accounts for 1 more star. Cleanliness is always welcome. This place had at least 7 other large birthday dinner parties going on. They allow balloons and such at the tables which is a nice touch. I'm sure them being clean and accommodating probably accounted for so many people choosing to celebrate here. I'm here writing this review at 11:40 PM on 06/16/18 and the music is in full swing. They do have a dance floor with a disco ball and lights above it. Nice touch. Nice adult mature crowd. I would definitely come back. So one more star for that. The last star is for the food and the service. A half a star for each. I ordered calamari, a house salad, and clams casino with sweet tea and lemon. Salad was served with blue cheese dressing. It was too chunky and not creamy enough. Croutons were seasoned well but way too crunchy. The calamari was fried well but not seasoned. The sweet tea was good. The clams casino were good also. Our waitress was cool but I think they they needed more servers this time of evening especially with all these parties going on. The earlier party goers waited over an hour for their dinner to arrive. Not cool. I'll definitely come back and try other dishes. read more

Came here today with a girlfriend whom I hadn't seen in a while. We enjoyed our visit. We sat at the bar where the music was pumping! It was around 4:15 and there was a pretty good playlist being played. There was a happy hour going on and I had the 1/2 lb steamed shrimp along with a buffalo combo! The buffalo combo is usually hubby's and I's go to. I also had an amaretto sour! My drink tasted great! The service was nice and it was a good visit! I walked out happy and full! read more

This was our first time going to Mo's and our last time going! We started with a calamari appetizer. It felt like we were chewing thick rubber bands.Yeds, it was that chewy. I have calamari when ever I go to a seafood restaurant, this worst I have ever had. One of our meals had to be sent back because the fish wasn't done. The rest of our meals were mediocre at best. The restrooms were nasty. My wife describes the women's as an outhouse. We were not only disappointed but very upset we wasted our time. read more

Loooove this Mo's! So clean and spacious! There's never really a wait because it's still fairly "new". I've had the stuff salmon, the stuffed shrimp, scallops, crab cakes, fried shrimp, and fish sandwich. They have an awesome happy hour with great drink specials. They also play music certain nights of the week. One of my favorite drop in places. Just left mos after a late happy hour. Me and my husband come here often for a drink and appetizers. Saw something crawling in our food. The darling bartender took the plate to her manager who didn't even come over at all. Wish I had taken a video before she took my plate to show him. Even though they just opened its already going down hill. Don't order food form here. Just get a drink. Hopefully there are no fruit flies in the bottle. Our waitress was so nice and accommodating. I don't blame her at all. Won't be going back which is unfortunate because there aren't many place to eat in this area. read more

The ONLY reason that I am giving this place 3 stars is because the crab cake was very good. Even though the crab cake was good, I will not be back. We went as a group for happy hour and were given a large table in the back of the bar. We waited for at least 15 minutes for a server- so long that people went to the bar to get their drinks. When we did go to the bar for drinks, the bartender was very rude. Additionally, the wine is poured from single serve cups of wine- not from a bottle. AND it was awful. My friend got one of the speciality drinks which was $13. $13 for happy hour. Ridiculous. Like I said, the crab cake was good but my friend's fish tacos were awful- she sent them back because the fish was too fishy. Overall, the crab cakes are not worth the visit. Try Koko's if you want good service and good crab cakes. read more

For apps we ordered crab bites and buffalo wings. Our entrees included steak with fried shrimp and rosemary redskin potatoes; fried catfish(3/4) pieces with a baked potato. Free rolls are given and they were pretty tough with a soft middle. I basically tore out the innards and added butter. The 1 margarita we had did justice so no complaints there. Crab bites= cooked right but plain Steak= tender but plain and added salt didn't help like it wasn't real salt Fried shrimp and fish= cooked perfectly but plain Buffalo wings= best item in my opinion but tasted like teriyaki Portions were large so the price tags were worth the portion size. Food was very fresh but soooo plain. These items can be made at home or bought from another restaurant for less and with more flavor. Service was decent as expected during a game night luckily we came before the crowd racked in. The fresh seafood market section is located all the way in the back and you have to enter from outside you can't walk thru. Prices were too high compared to ordinary market pricing. For example, $14.99 for a pound of snow crab clusters. Definitely had to pass since you can get the same ones at a market for at least $7 less. The automatic addition of 17% gratuity regardless of party size was a definitely huge turn off. I don't like being forced to pay a certain amount for a tip as I like my choices. Can't say I wouldn't return again but there is no rush. See how you like it. read more

Very disappointed. The steamed shrimp over cooked. Crab dip very dry! Our host Chris was so kind and professional.

Do not want to even give this place one star after what happened to me. What happened is I ordered the salmon with crab imperial and got sick! Took me about 3 days to recover. I've visited this location on many occasions and I must say this is the first time I've been dissatisfied. Placed a to-go order and after 30 mins the order still wasn't ready. When the order did arrive it was in two separate bags and tied up. I checked the one bag I was able to untie and it was correct so I left. After arriving home and having to cut open the other bag I discovered our order was wrong. Management was very pleasant and understanding when I called and told them of the mistake. I was offered a replacement entree the next time I was in the area. Missing the other two stars because of the wait time to pick up a order that was called in. About 50 minutes from time of placing order to time I left with the food. read more

Not sure what they are going for here. Music is ridiculously loud rap music with F this N that. I guess it's a considered a bar that serves food. I would never sit in there with my family nor suggest anyone go anywhere near there. Customers are yelling louder then the music and their language was just as colorful as the song lyrics. When did this happen to this restaurant ?? Wow is all I can say. To top it off, it was cold in there. I'm not the only one to feel it since both bartenders were wearing jackets. Only had 2 apps, they were good but who would want to eat in a place with this atmosphere. I guess it works for them but I'll never go back. read more

This rating is more like 1 1/2 stars. You know, I should've listened to the overall poor reviews of Mo's. Yelp rarely fails me. I came here simply because a Paint Nite, which was amazing by the way, was being held here. I should've followed my first mind and waited to buy something to eat after or ate before. But, no, I didn't listen to my instincts or the bad reviews. The food, overall, was simply gross. Initially, I got the Fried Seafood Platter. The shrimp had an odd taste like it was spoiled or something. It had no other discernible flavor. The texture was also off; it was not fresh shrimp. It was almost like that frozen precooked fried shrimp from the grocery store. The server even said, "Yeah, I don't like our shrimp either. It tastes weird." I sure wish she would've warned me before ordering. The fish, which I was told was tilapia, was a large fried hunk that looked completely unappetizing. The fish lived up to how it looked; inside of the crust the meaty part of the fish was mushy and flavorless. I cook fried tilapia at home, and what they served me was not it. Again, it tasted like frozen fish patty or something. The server was accommodating when I sent both items back and asked for the crab cake to be turned into a sandwich instead. The crab cake was better than the fish and shrimp, but I didn't eat it all. The bread, iceberg lettuce, and tomato didn't do anything for the crab cake, so I just picked at the meat. The fries were alright. The servers were okay. They checked on me every once in a while, and I didn't get my drink until I reminded her that I still needed it because I hadn't gotten it yet. All of them seemed distracted and like they were ready to go home. At least they weren't rude, though. I expected some good seafood, but I left disappointed. I'm used to southern style or Cajun prepared seafood that is full of flavor with fresh ingredients. This definitely was not it. At all. I'll pass on eating from here for forever. read more

I think that this is my favorite location. I been here a few times over the years and honestly I have never been disappointed. I only take one star off because when it's crowded it's difficult to find parking. The restaurant appears clean with somewhat stylish though disjointed decor, pleasant servers, strong drinks (Mo's Relaxer and Obama are faves) and I enjoy that they have Dj playing music on many nights. The menu is extensive so everyone can find something to enjoy. read more

Check the freshness! I went to Mo's for a very large graduation celebration. I have never been to Mo's before, but I was eager to try it because I LOVE SEAFOOD (see previous reviews). I was impressed with the wait staff's ability to serve a large group (over 25 people) but I was less impressed with the food. I ordered a cream of crab soup, which was a bit bland and didn't contain a lot of crab. I ordered a lobster tail with seafood imperial for my entree and that's when the problem started. My entree is served and it there is a MOUNTAIN of seafood imperial on the top of a really decent sized lobster tail; all right... it looks like my kind of party. It also came with a side of the cheapest white rice that they could find. I am partial to Uncle Ben's versus "Where's this Been?" rice, but I digress... I am digging in to the imperial which has scallops, shrimp and crab. Really big scallops, chunks of crab... but the shrimp are overcooked to the point of being shrimp jerky. I take my knife and go in to sample the star of the show, the lobster tail. I put it in my mouth and OMG!!! OMG!!! I just put a mouthful of ammonia in my mouth!!! I quickly spit it into a napkin and motioned to the server to come over. I told her that the lobster tasted like ammonia. She asked me if I wanted anything else. Uh, yeah, a stomach pump and the address to the nearest hospital. Whomever prepared that lobster SHOULD be checking for spoilage before serving food. They need retraining. I will NEVER go back. read more

Horrible! 1st if all me my fiancé and his mom and sister went to moes to grab a crab cake and cocktails and left feeling like we wouldn't go back! We arrived at the restaurant around 6pm and was greeted by the two Caucasian host, we asked the two where could we sit and they said anywhere we like. We took a seat in the front near the entrance the low top tables and waited. We never was offered menus. 10 minutes later a Caucasian family came into the restaurant the waiter greeted them ask took them to their seats, gave them menus and started taking their order. At this time we started getting annoyed waiving at them so they can come to our table. They never did, they walked pass us like we weren't there saying nothing. 5 minutes went pass I got up went to the counter and got our menus they waitress with the blonde hair walked pass us again so I walked up to her saying "excuse me is anyone going to wait on us" she said I thats not my section. Never did we get a waiter, or even asked were we ok. They continued to wait the Caucasian family. Me and my family left. They were rude, the act like we wasn't anyone because we were black. We were there first and didn't get waited on but as soon as a Caucasian family come both waiter waited on them. It was two waiters one could of waited us and one could of waited them. WE WERE 1st! We felt like we was in a old movie how the whites only want to wait the whites and the black don't get served. Someone have to talk to these ladies because racism isn't far! read more
