Morton's is a true 5 star restaurant My husband and I went on a Saturday night before a show at the Benedum and I was surprised how packed it was! We actually showed up like 30 mins before our reservation and we were still seated right away without an issue. The service was great from start to finish. I had a delish dirty martini that was made exactly how I like it- extra dirty with blue cheese olives! I got the wedge salad to start and it was fantastic. Crisp, cold, and huge! Def big enough to share with someone. The bread for the table was excellent as well. I got the Ora salmon and it melted in my mouth like butter. I was given a steak knife but it wasn't needed. My husband got the aged rib eye medium rare and he ate every last bite. The truffle fries and the truffle creamed corn were delicious. We had no left overs! Overall it was a great experience. I've been to almost every steakhouse in Pittsburgh and Morton's is certainly at the top.

I dropped in and had some drinks and food at the bar. The service was polite and fun. The set up is similar to other locations but the common thread is they are comfortable. I had martinis which were made well, then went for some oysters which were good. I ordered a petite filet medium rare, it didn't cut well but I finished it anyway.

We had a great experience at Morton's for our anniversary. I was so impressed by the service. Our waitress decorated our table for us. It included a personalized sign and rose petals. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I very much enjoyed my meal, which was the 8 oz filet. My boyfriend enjoyed his 16 oz ribeye. Both steaks were cooked and seasoned to perfection. We also enjoyed our sides. We choose a loaded baked potato and the crispy brussel sprouts. The brussels weren't as crispy as I had hoped but still very flavorful. We ended the meal with a complimentary cheesecake desert. The cheesecake was good, but not otherworldly

We ate here before a show at the Benedum, and the server and kitchen were able to accommodate that. They have a good cocktail menu, and the bread is aromatic. Two of us chose off the list of appetizers, and one had a steak that was very good. Beware that there is a gluten-free menu, but it doesn't list prices or the rest of the ingredients, which could be a problem if you have multiple dietary restrictions. Sex-segregated restrooms.

Overall the food was good, I had the seafood tower, wagyu meatballs, and potstickers for appetizers. These were the star of the show. I got the bone in ribeye and was very underwhelmed. Although ribeyes are fatty cuts, it was almost impossible to eat. I didn't get the horseradish sauce I ordered, and the steak needed to be seasoned more.

We had a private event with 22 people at Morton's last night and it went pretty well. The room we were in fit all of us but didn't feel cramped. There was a TV where we projected a presentation and no technical issues. The food itself was overall pretty good! The warm onion bread with butter was fantastic. The Caesar salad was just fine, nothing to write home about. The truffle cream spinach in phyllo app was really good and I wish we all got more than one. I got the filet mignon for an entree and it was decent. My friend got the sea bass filet and the butter sauce it came in was really good. My friend got the chicken Christopher which was crunchy and delicious, it reminded me of chicken schnitzel in a very good way. For the sides, the sour cream mashed potatoes were decent but the bacon and onion macaroni and cheese was incredible. The cheesecake was fine and I liked the flavor of my pudding like espresso pot de crème. The only thing I would change if possible is perhaps the layout of the tables. My friend sat on the end of a half circle table of six and the staff kept having to say excuse me as they squeezed past her.

Morton's can do no wrong for me. lol I recently visited Morton's with my best friend on a Friday evening. We made a reservation online a day prior. The restaurant wasn't overly busy when we arrived. We were seated right away. We both ordered the same thing. lol we started with a glass of wine. While we were sipping the wine, our waiter brought out bread and butter. We then had a bowl of lobster bisque and then had a filet (Oscar style) and shared sides of Brussel sprouts and green beans. Everything from start to finish was delicious. Our waiter was funny and attentive. The vibe definitely gives old school steakhouse vibes but I like it!

We've been to Morton's a few times; each was a great experience! Most recently, we came with our family (a group of 8), and everything went smoothly. We were seated at a large round table in the back, where it was quiet (at least when we first arrived). Their onion bread is one of my favorites. The steaks were all good! Two steaks were missing the butter we ordered, but our server quickly remedied the situation. I especially have a sweet spot for their Black Cherry Sour. Also, shoutout to the front-of-the-house staff, who is always friendly and attentive!

This is a review only for happy hour at the bar. My husband & I were here for the National Filet Day available in bar area. We each ordered the filet sliders with Shoestring fries along with drinks. Sliders were just superb- hot, moist, not tough like youre wrestling with it. Fries were crispy, crunchy & NOT brown thank goodness! For drinks we ordered off the HH menu- I had the Palm Beach Passion- absolutely wonderful- Peach colored & pretty to even look at. Very mild sweetness for people that can't stand too much of it. I loved it so much!! My husband had the Tennessee Smash- it came with a stylish broken lollipop-- somewhat of an eccentric combination but oh how it all fit together-- A.M.A.Z.I.N.G! He never has more than 1 maybeeee 2 drinks, he ordered 3! It was bomb! You have you try it if you like whiskey. The whiskey neutralized the honey added. You will love it! I will say this though--- the women's bathroom was somewhat messy & unkempt. I'd say management needs to look into cleaning it a bit more. We will come back to try other items for sure.

We had an awesome experience and meals at Morton's. We came for my son's 16th birthday with a group of 12. When I called to make the reservation, I was offered the party room to celebrate the special event. We took them up on the offer and it made for an even better experience. Morton's is upscale with a fancy ambiance. James and JR took care of us. They were really attentive and top class servers. The food was amazing. We started out with wagu dumplings and ahi tuna. For our meals most of the group got steaks. I had a 16 oz Ribeye with blue cheese butter. It was one of the best steaks I have had. Other members of our party got filets, pork chops, and lobster tail. It all was delicious. Definitely a special occasion place due to the price, but man was it good!

I went there to celebrate my birthday on a Wednesday. The restaurant just opened and was not very busy. I had their specialty mixed drink made with Teremana. It was ok, the mixture was not balanced. The smell and deliciousness of the egg and onion bread got us excited for what was to come. We had a crab cake each for an appetizer. The arugula salad it came with was more pleasing than the crab cake. It had a good bit of crab but was mushy. I got a filet steak medium rare. The beef seemed old, didn't melt in my mouth, had a slight off taste. The hot chocolate cake was complementary. It is basically a freshly made lava cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It was another popular item, but left me confused because it was not amazing. Service was excellent and was the highlight of the night. The special touch for my birthday was nice. The ambiance is dark. We were sat at a cute curved booth. Disappointed I spent good money for subpar food.

The Milanese de pollo was really good but not close to Argentinian style, no fries no fried eggs included. My issue is that they use the Argentinian style label as a marketing tool and they are not even close. The price was ridiculously high for the experience.

The restaurant had a lot of potential until we experienced the service and cuisine. I brought my Supper Club here, and we had a group of 8 of us. There was also a very large group at the restaurant. We were neglected on several occasions, and it took us 2 HOURS just to get our food order. That's not an exaggeration. Our waitress was rather snippy with us, and ended up apologizing at the end but it did make for an unpleasant experience. When we finally received our bread, we were so hungry that we scarfed it down despite it being not so great sour dough bread. Every dish was flavorless and left us wanting more. I had to send back the steak on two occasions: once for being undercooked and once for being overcooked. I ended up getting my meal for free. The Coquilles St. Jacques had the smallest scallops without the lovely scallop shell its usually served in. The shrimp cocktail tasted like anything you could get at the grocery store. The Nicoise Salad was just sad and flavorless. The porkchop and escargot had the most flavor. I will definitely not be back to this establishment. They asked if there were any allergies or dietary restrictions so I mentioned my vegetarianism. George went through the menu and pointed out the vegetarian options including what seems like it is vegetarian but isn't. They had TWO vegetarian entree options and fortunately the non-mushroom one was something I probably would have ordered anyway: pesto with walnuts, arugula, and a very generous amount of grated cheese. To start, I ordered the Brussels sprouts whichc I was warned had fish sauce. This was fine but nothing that blew me away. GF, on the other hand, loved this. GF ordered the wedge which was brought to our attention as vegetarian with the bacon on the side, which was her request. We ended up sharing both, a large part of that was because hers came out first and I couldn't wait but I'm so glad because the wege was FANTASTIC. The dressing? holy fuck pure ecastasy. The wedge was more like a filet shape which was much easier to eat. Who decided on the wedge shape anyway? The lettuce was so fresh and crisp and went wonderfully with that orgasmic dressing and breadcrumbs. Back to my pasta. Also delectable. Noodles were al dente. The sauce was creamy and packed that pesto umami flavor. The walnuts were a really nice contrast in texture. Everything about it absolutely fucking slapped. GF ordered the mushroom entree which came served on a bed of barley which, don't mind if I do, had a few forkfuls to "sample" for "my review". Again, so fucking good. Because it was my birthday, George provided a dessert (yuzu maybe?) that was served inside a meringue-esque igloo, creamy perfect balance of sweet and tart custard with some berry business underneath. Wonderful. I almost forgot their spectacular cocktails! Holy shit, literally they have a CORN CHIP cocktail that I could not pass up. It comes with two massive cornchips on top of a flavored foam. When you bring the glass up to sip, the cornchips are right in front of your nose and their aroma sets the stage for the drink which was STRONG. It wasn't as corn chip forward as I expected but I understand that flavor is probaly hard to create. For my second drink, I ordered the blue one which was refreshing, light, and really good. GF ordered a spritz which was gorgeous "it was good". For second round, I picked out some uranium thing that was very cucumbery, GF says, "it was good". I just read it outloud to her. "it's true!" Fantastic meal at a great place.

Decor was impeccable, service was top notch, and the food was solid. Wasn't the biggest fan of the…read moreseasoning of the half chicken, but the cook on the chicken was perfect. Really liked this spot. The staff was great, the location was central, and its very upper crust. Great place for date night, drinks, and fellowship. I definitely will need to try another dish on my next visit.
