I am SO happy I chose this shop over the others on Yelp. Everything I've read about these guys is true. Finding a shop like this is hard; they are far and few between. The gentlemen who helped me were down to earth, reasonable, and friendly. I literally drove up at 4:00pm and asked if they could repair a flange leak and a disconnected muffler. They put my car up within minutes and it was finished and out the door within 45 minutes for a completely reasonable price. They were a pleasure to speak with, I felt taken care of, and I was not talked down to. If I ever have another exhaust problem or know anyone who does, I will ABSOLUTELY be sending them to Morse Muffler. Great shop, guys!! read more

My fault I guess for getting a $40 quote over the phone to install my part (rear O2 sensor). I should have asked is this a JOB quote or by the hour quote (a range of prices "should" be given IMO). It was sticky I guess and took about an hour, so when I went to pay Ron wrote me up for $120. Dumb broad that I am, I didn't question it. I believe Tom installed it. So if you want to pay $120 an hour, go here. I never got to see my old part either. Ron was entertaining with his knowledge of Burbank and life story but I'd rather have saved the $80 and gone to Mike's Muffler in El Monte. That's where I went to have my new cat converter and front O2 put in for $105. Done in under an hour. Gave me my old O2 to check out (but kept the original VW cat). It was a bit of a drive but worth it. Oh, and they quoted me $25 to put in the rear O2 (job quote, not hourly). SO, I lost $95 but I do like doing business locally and the guys here are nice. I sourced my own parts as this old beetle is killing me with repairs. Shop is clean and I got to sit close enough to observe, which I like to do. read more

AWESOME! I needed my muffler replaced and he did it for the very reasonable price of $112 including labor. He didn't have the factory brand muffler for my car, but I didn't care and said the generic one was fine. It took half an hour and he got me in right away. Really nice, and very honest. I'm a 22 year old woman, btw, so I could have easily gotten ripped off somewhere else. Go to Morse Muffler if you need exhaust work done!!! I can't thank them enough! read more

This is THE spot for any muffler job you need! I've brought 6 of my classic cars to Ron over the years and the exhaust always is perfect! From my 1930 coupe to my 70s truck, they got the job done right and quick! Before I found Morse I used any local shop I could find before the internet, and always has issues (too high or low placement, bad welds etc etc), every job thru Morse never failed. Placements were correct with all new and custom hangers, perfect welds, and always looks uniform being properly bent and run. All I say is " I want 2.25" pipe all the way, 30" glass pack and dump pipes under the bumper". And it's done perfectly! There is a very good reason why this shop has been here so long, and all the metal fabricators have been there over 25 years. They don't cycle thru employees, they have 3 guys In there, with the experience & knowledge that no other shop has. The prices are always fair to the job, some folks say they are expensive, but I've paid similar or even more from other hacks and had exhaust fall off, yes, fall OFF!! Bust open welds etc. I have never had this stuff happen since I've been coming to Morse. For the work these guys do, it's worth the few extra bucks for any of my old cars to have the best service men and high work quality!! read more

This is one of the best muffler shops I've ever been. I brought my acura which had a custom exhaust which was off centered when it was installed. The guy looked at, listen to my suggestion and he carefully cut and welded another spot and BAAAM, the exhaust sat straight. I drove my acura home with no humming in the cabin and a smile ear to ear. I strongly recommend this place. I came here because I had a bent tail pipe and muffler from a fender-bender. They were really good about telling me when they were available to work on the phone. They were fast. They were done when they said they would be, about an hour from when I brought it in. The factory muffler for my car is really expensive, but they suggested a good cheaper alternative. They didn't try to up sell. On the way to work yesterday I heard an odd noise and then started looking around for the car who i would have recommended some muffler work for. It turned out to be mine. Upon further examination I saw a pipe that was no longer attached to where it used to be. Called my mechanic in Woodland Hills and he told me what the best case scenario repair was and told me to find a muffler shop (as he was telling me where not to go and get convinced to buy a new muffler, etc) I typed in Muffler Burbank yelp and landed on Morse Muffler. I saw many five star reviews and then read the two star review. That one convinced me to try this place out. I called and spoke to Ron and made arrangements to go in first thing in the morning. The welder had not yet arrived but Ron directed me to drive onto the lift and he attached a power surge to the battery to save the ECM computer should any welding need to be done. When the Welder arrived, they confirmed that the pipe just needed welding and within 10 minutes I was on the road again with not only a fresh weld but a support brace to boot. LOVE this place. As a senior woman I pretty much expect that I might be ripped off in regards to auto repairs so anytime I find a place that treats me otherwise and does so with grace, good manners and a fair price, I am extremely happy and grateful. Took my 2014 Dodge Ram 5.7 here to get a flow master put on. They had it on the lift in about 20 seconds and told me a couple options we could do. Once I picked one they had it installed and on the road in under 45 minutes. I would recommend Morse Muffler to anyone, they had great customer service and fast turn around time. read more

Made an appointment with Morse, arrived to be told they "We can't do that today". Drove 45 miles to get there and advised me they were now short handed!! Asked me if I could leave the vehicle!!!!! Told me about the high dollar jobs coming in the next couple days thinking I was going to feel happy for them!! Was told you have to come back, "maybe we can get to you Friday!!" This is what an appointment means to Morse Muffler. By the way, you better hope they don't have a bigger name to take care of because you mean nothing when that occurs. read more

This place is amazing. My muffler was pretty beat up from hitting something on the freeway. I stopped by when they were opening to have them check it out and get an estimate. They looked under the car, gave me a very fair price and said they could fix in right then and it would take 30 minutes. Sure enough thirty minutes later it was ready.
