I called and spoke with Bob who happens to be the owner, he had me run the car by and looked at it and saw immediately what my issue was. Bob booked me an appointment to come by and drop my car off so he and his team could do the repairs. I dropped car off the night before and it was ready by next day as promised. What I liked about Bob was that he is very transparent with his pricing and even showed me the old water pump that he pulled out of my car! It was neat to see the proof of the work (not that I doubted him for a moment) but the transparency is very much appreciated. The cost was more than fair for my water pump and actually ended up only being 500 more than a girlfriend of mines Camry. Thank you Bob for taking care of me and getting me back on the road! I definitely would recommend LOTR for any Audi and VW repair! I will definitely return in the future if something else goes wrong. My car is driving like it's brand new again! Brad

Our 1969 Karman Ghia is a treasure. We've been on the hunt for a mechanic who loves Volkswagen ( air cooled ones) like we do. Bob was so good to explain he's very busy with his current VW and Audi clients and regrets he cannot help us. His honesty, kindness and obvious understanding of our predicament was refreshing. If you have a water cooled vehicle and value that automobile. Bring it here! We are sure you will not be disappointed .

They always make sure to actually listen to all of the information you have about little quirks or issues before they start a diagnostic, and will go over EVERYTHING in easy to understand detail before doing any work, something I've found as a female car owner to be lacking at most repair shops. Most recently I brought in a ridiculous dealer quote for a new transmission among other things to get a second opinion and Derek went through with me all of the issues and explained how it would not be financially prudent to go through with any further repairs on the car and to sell it as is for its parts value. Not what I was hoping to hear about my once trusty steed, but what I needed to. I would recommend them to anybody looking for a truly honest and capable mechanic with a German vehicle.

Eddie did his best to take care of us throughout the entire experience. They called us to pick up our car and they didn't even repair one of two items that they said they would. They still charged us the quoted amount, which was supposed to include two repairs. Upon driving away, three major error indicators were going off on our dashboard (these were not there prior to the repair). After calling to inquire about it, they told us to bring it back and they'd take a look. The manager, Mike, was extremely rude and condescending. He said they'd review the work they did and "see if it was Caliber's fault." He refused to look at the diagnostic paperwork we got when having it looked over at Toyota. Surprise, surprise. Caliber determined that "everything was put back together correctly." Still major errors within the car's electronic components. We were given the email address of the district manager or some other higher-up (no follow-up phone number), Jeff, who never responded. Ultimately, we went to Toyota and had to pay $1300 for the damage Caliber did to our car, after paying THEM $750 to fix our one issue (and ignore the other thing we wanted fixed). Our car was at their facility for many days, and we had to go back and forth several times. I've never had a worse customer service experience (except for Eddie, who did everything he could despite his team) or felt so desperate that someone damaged my VEHICLE and would make no effort to fix it. Also note that Caliber is NOT BBB-accredited. I've heard they're good with body work, but steer clear if your repair requires ANYTHING electronic.

I paid that amount in full and was told to pick the car in couple of hours. I asked them this is the out of the door price for everything and they said yes. Got a call from the lady at the front desk saying they need to charge more for the labor ? I told her why you are charging me extra while I asked you that is the full price and you said yes. She said, it was her fault and need to charge extra..long story short after some negotiation, I paid extra and got the car. Drove the car out of the shop and was hearing some rattling noise from the exhaust which was not there when I left the car with them. When asked about it, they said it's not their fault and I told the noise wasn't there when I left the car for repair. The person who checked the car when I dropped the car for repair agreed that there was no noise then but said he can't do anything that the noise came after the repair. The lady at the front desk said it is common that you fix something and some new problem comes ..seriously? They didn't do anything about it and i have to drive away with the noise and now need to take to muffler shop..definitely not good business practices Update: I took to the muffler shop and they diagnosed and confirmed the noise is coming from the transmission not from the exhaust and have them call these guys and tell that which the person at the muffler shop did. So, these guys asked to drop the car to check and said will let me know. I have dropped the car at them again I will come back and update what happens
