To recap, I'm a parent in Houston TX with a student in Arlington TX. My son's vehicle is having transmission trouble that had already been diagnosed by the dealership. Of course, the price quoted at the dealership was excessive as most dealerships prefer to replace rather than repair. The manager john obviously hates his job and cares even less for potential customers. My call went something like this; Hi I would like to get a price range on a transmission replacement for a 2012 nissan versa. I understand you cant give me anything spec..... He interrupts with you gotta bring it in. I begin again, I understand that you can't give me anything specific without first looking at the car but i'm only looking for..... He interrupts with, I can't tell you anything without looking at the car. I don't know what it needs. I begin again, trying to explain that I'm concerned with whether the vehicle will make it in and that since repair is the most expensive service; if he could give me a part and labor cost for the vehicle type it would be helpful since a transmission repair or even rebuild would be south of that cost; but he interrupts me with, I'd need the VIN. I respond with I have the VIN. I proceed by saying, Sir if you could just let me finish I can explain what i'm asking. He snaps, I can't help you!! So I say thank you and goodbye. I call again as i'm assuming this piss poor service must be someone without any concern for the bottom line of the business, right?? Wrong! When I call back, he answers. I say, Hi John, is there someone else that I can speak to. He responds, I'm the manager here so if you can't talk to me you cant talk to anyone and I don't even want to deal with you now. I say, sir if you would let me finish.... he finishes with, take your car somewhere else and hangs up. Please don't misunderstand my position. I am well aware that total costs for car maintenance can't be quoted BUT labor and parts can be. He is simply inept as a manager and I am happy to take my business elsewhere I just hope someone in real need doesn't run into such a sad representative in the future. Lastly, this is a message to the owner, this person, John, is intentionally sabotaging your business, because there was no reason for him to turn your business and profit away based on not liking the question I asked.

It was there 2 weeks and he kept saying they were putting it back together and I would be notified when I can pick it up. I was charged 612.00 and had to pay this before they would release my car to be towed. My car was there 2 weeks and now it has grease and some other substance stuck on it. They didn't have the decency to try to put it back together and put it back where they got it from. On top of that I wasn't even notified that they weren't putting it back together.

    Paid this shop to rebuild transmission for 2007 Toyota Tundra on October 18, 2022. Within a month…read morebegan having issues with the trans not operating properly and making weird noises. Called Joe after this didn't improve and he had truck towed back to the shop for inspection. I was also worried it was leaking as there was "oil" in my driveway. He informed that I had an oil leak and that the trans was fine and that I had to pay him back for the towing which I did. It was true that I had an oil leak but the trans never stopped acting strange and started giving me more issues recently (end of April 2023). It finally got the point where it would not go in reverse and would not shift into upper gears. On Saturday May 13th and friend of mine crawled under the truck and saw a very large leak ocuring around the entire trans oil pan. We then checked the bolts for tightness and none of them were more than hand tight. We took it to Kwik Kar to get fluid put in the transmission because we figured it was low. The following Monday, the 14th, we took it back to Joe. He agreed there were issues with it and that it was leaking but refused to honor his warranty and repair the truck properly. I will be suing him in court. I want me entire $4730.56 paid to him refunded to me immediately.
