Had Josh from the Frisco store greet me and my girlfriend, absolutely TOP notch service. We had a good chat on top of the fact he came to see what was wrong with my tire and made it easy to be in and out within 20 minutes. Shoutout to Josh! read more

2016 Audi A8L - Air Strut Replacement I've been using this location for over 2 years now. A year ago I had my passenger side air strut replaced due to it leaking. I had no issues with communication, service and the timely repair in this visit. This year I came in for remotely the same type of repair and it was nothing but frustration, unprofessionalism and something I'm having to find solution for myself currently. The communication from the front desk to the mechanics is very bad. I reported an issue with my driver side air strut this most recent visit. Failure to communicate this to the mechanic caused this issue to be prolonged and not be solved until 2 months later. Because they replaced the passenger side again and didn't assess the driver side. Even though I told them the driver side was the one broken for sure (physically could hear air leaking from the driver side strut). Both very well could've needed to be replaced but the failure to communicate that cost me over a month without my car that could have been avoided. Not only that, the day I came back to receive my car I was told there were no more air suspension fault codes showing. The moment I got in my car and turned it on there was a fault code. I was also told the car was realigned by the front desk. I talked directly with the mechanic who worked on my car and he said they did not do an alignment. This location is a place I've used often for any services on my two vehicles. If this is the level of service they are operating at then I will taking my vehicles elsewhere. Not because of the mechanics, but because the communication, unprofessionalism and the experience I just had with a replacement of two air struts and a compressor that took over 2 months to resolve. In which is still not solved due to the air suspension fault code still on. After research, my car will need an active level ride control reset from the dealership. The mechanic mentioned this directly to me when I came in addressing the still existing code. He explained this to the front desk and the front desk failed to mention it to me. Because of this I've driven my car two days and now my tires are chewed up because of this. Improper ride level and no alignment after strut replacement are main causes of this. I'm expected to be responsible for the fix. I had to go into the bay and find out from the mechanic myself to get these answers. read more

This was the worst service experience I've ever had, and I strongly caution anyone against using them. It started well enough. Eddie did his best to take care of us throughout the entire experience. They called us to pick up our car and they didn't even repair one of two items that they said they would. They still charged us the quoted amount, which was supposed to include two repairs. Upon driving away, three major error indicators were going off on our dashboard (these were not there prior to the repair). After calling to inquire about it, they told us to bring it back and they'd take a look. The manager, Mike, was extremely rude and condescending. He said they'd review the work they did and "see if it was Caliber's fault." He refused to look at the diagnostic paperwork we got when having it looked over at Toyota. Surprise, surprise. Caliber determined that "everything was put back together correctly." Still major errors within the car's electronic components. We were given the email address of the district manager or some other higher-up (no follow-up phone number), Jeff, who never responded. Ultimately, we went to Toyota and had to pay $1300 for the damage Caliber did to our car, after paying THEM $750 to fix our one issue (and ignore the other thing we wanted fixed). Our car was at their facility for many days, and we had to go back and forth several times. I've never had a worse customer service experience (except for Eddie, who did everything he could despite his team) or felt so desperate that someone damaged my VEHICLE and would make no effort to fix it. Also note that Caliber is NOT BBB-accredited. I've heard they're good with body work, but steer clear if your repair requires ANYTHING electronic. read more

My son's car is to low to the ground, and the skid plate was coming loose. I took it to Sun Auto and asked the young man how much he would charge me to attach it. He looked at me and said, hand me your keys, drives it to the back and fixed it immediately as a courtesy. He was so pleasant and polite and willing to help me. I highly recommend this place because most places will not do this as a courtesy and especially that fast. I was in and out in about 3-4 minutes. read more

From start to finish Chris treated me like a valued customer! The quality of the work was 5 stars. I didn't have to worry about getting my own wrecker, I was even offered rides to and from the shop. The cost was affordable as well. I can honestly say I've never experienced such great customer service. I will always take my vehicles to wherever Chris is at. read more

First, let me say that Virgil at the Arlington location is amazing! My car was towed to Caliber Auto due to a tire blowout. From start to finish he was professional, personable & informative. When I called him with a concern, he went the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with their work. Thank you for safely getting me back on the road! read more

My check engine light came on as I was leaving work. Never a fun feeling, but I was leaving town the next morning and really needed it fixed. They immediately took it to get assessed, called me with a plan and price and said they could have it fixed. They stayed later than their closing time to get my car done so I could leave on time the next day. They were curious, helpful and fair. I HIGHLY recommend them. Plus, I didn't have to wait with my kids this time, but if I ever do, they have a play area that rivals Chick-fil-A. read more

Sun Auto Tire & Service - Exterior of the building sign - Tires Near Me - Arlington, Texas

This is the best auto care place I've ever been. They're always honest about exactly what I need, why, and how far away bigger things are

I have been to this location twice. The first time I had several repairs done on my vehicle and I was very happy with the quality of service I received. I dealt with Eddie the first time and he was extremely helpful. He helped make sure I got the best price possible. The quality of the repairs was top notch too. A couple of months later I was having an issue with a different business from which I had just purchased tires. I called Caliber just to try to gain some clarity on the work I had done by them previously, because the other business where I purchased tires was giving me some grief about an issue I began having after getting my tires that I did not have before. Mike answered my call to Caliber and I don't know if I can express how truly awesome and amazing he was. I told him the issue I was having with the other tire company (it's a popular chain), and Mike suggested that I could bring my vehicle in and they could take a look, and perhaps the issue could be fixed easily. Mike went above and beyond to help me and I left with my issue fixed, free of charge, even though it was caused by the other tire business. He was so very kind and helpful. Caliber Auto Care is now going to be called Sun Auto Tire and Service. I didn't realize this but the next time I need new tires I will go here. I'm also recommending Mike and Caliber/Sun Auto to all my family and friends. The customer service I received from Mike was beyond exceptional. As a woman, dealing with mechanics and auto shops can be stressful, but I have never remotely felt like Caliber/Sun Auto was trying to rip me off. I'll be going here for all my auto needs. Thank you so much Mike, and thank you to Caliber for being a great company! read more

Awesome service, cost & transparency! I plan to visit again with my second vehicle. I was very impressed with Luis. Excellent experience for an auto repair shop. read more

I would love to give this place 5 stars but great disappointment after service. Initial service was great but responsibility after their work is zero! Not sure what's the meaning "warrantee of their work", the same issue reoccured within couple days after the service was done and I was asked to pay more money to fix the same problem! read more

I always come to this location because this company isn't the type to tell you everything is wrong with your car for a quick buck. They review everything give you a sheet of paper with all the information you need I got my inspection done today and Andrew was the one who spoke to me about my brakes and how much life they had left and even gave me a quote on my bumper! Super nice guy. read more

I replaced the front break pads and rotors on my truck a year ago and the parts cost me about $160 but I installed them myself. I knew my back ones were due but didn't want to mess with it again to save time. I figured it would be around 350 if I get someone to do it. Not only did they test drive my truck for 15 minutes without telling me but they quoted me $716 to replace the back rotors and pads. I called NU breaks and they came to my house and replaced the Rotors and pads for $353 and I tipped him an extra $60 for the hell of it. No communication about the time it will take, the protocol they use or what they are doing for an hour and seven minutes while I waited. I was the only person in the place and 5 guys were standing around when I pulled up so they weren't busy at all on a Thursday at 2:30 pm. read more

Took my vehicle in to have it inspected. Employees do not seem to know what they are doing. Employee could not even drive my vehicle so my husband pulled it in the garage. Then there was no cash for small bill change. read more

I take all my vehicles there for oil changes or questions needed, friendly people. Plus have 2 in that area, too

If I could give them 10 stars I would, The staff here is very friendly!! Super fast and efficient this is my second time getting an oil change from them and honestly can say they beat the dealerships by time and price!!! The facility itself is super clean! They have a beautiful lobby area , and if you have your kiddos there's even a play ground inside for them to pass the time !! read more

My service advisor was Robert. Simply needed a car alignment, as I had recently replaced all the front-end components. He had me in the same hour as my call, and released the vehicle that afternoon. Didn't feel the pressure to buy unnecessary services, or hear a tired spiel about blinker fluid or muffler bearings. Thank you, team! read more

This is my first time trying this company and they did an amazing job. I love the review of services that comes directly to your phone in picture form. The staff was pleasant and worked on my car quickly. read more

I've taken my car to Caliber several times and they are extremely friendly, knowledgeable and always providing great recommendations on how to keep my car in top shape. Specifically Virgil is AMAZING and is extremely transparent with pricing. He's very clear on the 'must haves' vs. 'nice to haves'. Will definitely continue taking my car here! read more

I loved my experience here. They had great customer service and the work was done quickly and well.

They provide great fast service. Everyone there was super courteous. And did a great job on my jeep.

Not everyone enjoys taking your car to a repair shop. You always expect to have a crummy experience and pay an exorbitant amount of money. It's a little different at Caliber though. Every time I go, I'm always welcomed with kind words and honesty! They are very good at explaining things and making sure everything is clear with you. I have had several things done to my truck by them (so much so that they know me by my first name now) and every-time I'm happy with the job well done. Granted, they are not the quickest place, but gosh darn it they are the friendliest group of people you'll meet. They are also not the cheapest place either, but you definitely get what you pay for! I had them do several prices checks compared to the Ford dealership and it was significantly cheaper at Caliber than Ford. Their waiting area is very posh with great drink choices, they have a playground for kids, and comfy chairs with lots of TVs around the place as well. They also offer complimentary rides back to your place if your wait is an extended amount of time. Thankfully, my truck is all set for awhile but i already know I'll be back at Caliber whenever something goes awry again. Thank you to all the friendly and honest staff! read more

One of the best places in Texas!! Highly recommend! One of the best Car repair shops I have ever been too! I have been to many across the state of Texas and this place is amazing!! AMAZING customer service. They kept me in the loop the entire time. I had tires replaced, brakes replaced, state inspection, and oil change. They were honest and made sure we understood everything that was going on. Once they were done working on my car, they took it for a test drive to make sure everything was good. read more

I had a wonderful experience. Everyone I spoke with was professional, friendly and very helpful. They offered a shuttle for me if needed, but I chose to sit in the waiting room which was beautiful and very clean. I will definitely choose this place again in the future. read more

Took my car in for brake service as I was hearing a loud noise as if something was dragging every time I would brake. They told me my brakes were good and I still had time before I needed to replace. Three weeks later my brake pad fell out and gave out and activated the emergency brakes to kick in. I could move my car. They tried to explain it as the emergency brakes malfunctioned. My car repair cost went from initial quote if $500 to a $1500 repair. read more

The lube center manager Hunter went above and BEYOND! He took care of me by giving me a good deals on the tires and the alignment. I would definitely go back. He stayed in constant communication with me throughout the day. Mike the general manager was very kind as well. Thank you so much! read more

Everyone was nice and friendly. But... it took one hour and half for an oil change and I even had an appointment. I didn't even get a price quote until the oil change was done which was 80 dollars by the way. I will never be going here again. Usually is half that price. Wouldn't recommend to anyone. read more

Needed a state inspection. They got me in/out very quickly. Also, the battery in my key fob needed replacing and they did it at no charge. I'll be back. read more

We are a repeat customer and we're in for routine oil change. We had an appointment, our service was less than an hour and enjoyed hot complimentary coffee. They did a full inspection and went over report, the guy who went over the report was very informative, not pushy for added services. Great service from beginning to end! We will be back for additional repairs in the future. read more

My suburban needed new brakes/rotors. The dealership would have charged almost $500 more and taken longer. We will use this location again. read more
