This place is a joke. Came in Friday and they said they didn't find anything wrong with tire. Our gage was leaking. Next morning we are back cause tire continues to loss air. They said they found a nail. Waited an hr to find out they fixed the wrong tire and didn't even look at the tire that was low. So you fixed a tire that wasn't even giving an issue... This place really saved me! We had a slow leak/flat in one of our tires. I had been putting air in it and was about to use Fix A Flat in it (which most people don't recommend using for various reasons) when I saw a screw that was jammed into the treads - dead center. Well, at least it hadn't popped it! Yet. Anyhow I drove to Discount Tire because they had good reviews and it wasn't that far away. I made an appointment online and drove over. It was a little confusing because in this time of Covid, they had set up and outdoor check in spot, but no one was there. I ended up parking and heading inside, which was fine. They set me up. I drove my car into the garage and the guy repaired it really quickly. I just hung out outside the garage since it wasn't too crazy hot this one particular day. As he was putting the tire back on, I got an email with an invoice from them. It was $0.00. I didn't know what that was about so I asked the guy. Get this - they will repair a tired like that for FREE! Can you believe it!?!?! They said they always take care of items affecting customer's safety and there was absolutely no charge! I couldn't believe it! Who does that anymore? What an excellent and pleasant idea and surprise! I was so happy! Extremely disappointed by my visit today. First, the man "helping" me made a comment about the amount of dog hair in my car. Why it's relevant to my service, I'm not sure. He then proceeds to show me unsolicited photos of his wife and child. It was inappropriate and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Fast forward to 57 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. My car is JUST now being taken back for new tires. I ask why my car hadn't already been taken care of, and the man told me, "You can yell at him when he's done." What? What would yelling at someone achieve when you've wasted my time and consequently made me late for any prior engagements? And how on dog's green earth are you already behind less than an hour after opening? Basically, if you're shopping here, make sure you've taken off the entire day. Winning the lotto would also help, considering how overpriced it was--but that's a rant for another day. read more

Jose noticed her getting out of the car with a cane and came out in the 94 degree weather to see what she needed. She was able to hop in my car and stay cool and Jose took care of everything. I haven't been to this location before but it is on the way to my son's hockey pravtice. We were about to get in and out in about 30 minutes on a Saturday. I didn't have the best experience here. I came in because the low tire pressure light was on in my car. I let the tech know and the first thing he did was check the tread on all four tires and recommended replacing the front 2. I accepted his advice and we got this done same day. On the drive home, however, the tire pressure light was still on, which I found to be odd. So early the next morning, I went back in and asked them if they looked at what caused the light to be on or what... because they just seemed to be focused on selling me some new tires. It turned out to be a nail in one of my tires they deemed "okay" the day before. I wasn't happy, obviously, but they fixed it complimentary, and I appreciate that. I was definitely bothered that it took a follow-up trip. I felt like instead of looking into the issue that I came in for, I just got upsold. It's the nature of these types of businesses - I feel like a powerless consumer and I have to rely on their expertise and I don't know how thorough they are going to be or not. I haven't brought tired in 3 years but that last place I got them from offered me a better deal on premium tires so I went with them. Discount won this time they offered me a really good deal on 4 premium Michelin tires, insurance, replacement package, wheel alignment, and balance that I couldn't refuse. Plus I got a 70 rebate coming to me I just won today. The staff is always helpful they will be honest with you and they always try to get you the best deal. I've never had a problem here as a matter of fact they always rotated my tires even though I didn't originally purchase them there for free so I figured with service like that why not give them some business. Went today to get 2 new tires because one in particular was dangerously low on tread. I get good service initially, but then find out that what the store has "in stock" and what the website for the store says they have "in stock" are NOT the same thing. I end up getting your up-sold on tires almost twice expensive as what I had gone in to buy. The advisor did discount them some, so thanks. I then go to pick my car up and find one lone lug nut waiting with my keys. Apparently they had stripped one while trying to get it off. They then tried to sell me on replacing the whole set for another $45. I took my lug nut home and got it on tightly with the hand tools in my trunk. If you need air in your tires and you expect them to actually do that, you may not want to come here. Last week, my tire pressure light came on. I've had my car for over 10 years so we are spiritually connected. I roll on up, easier than PB because someone is always outside using customer service, and this little man asked me what I needed and I requested air. I rolled on up in the stall and he checked my tire pressure. He told me my back tire was lower than the others and asked me why I came in. I told him my tire light came on. He then told me to reset the light in my glove compartment. I told him that usually, my tire light will just go off when enough air is in the tire. I said, "I've never heard of resetting it in my glove compartment." And he says, "oh well I have." He then told me to just drive around because if I can't reset it then some cars just need to be driven. That was last week and my tire light is still on. So, I'm going to my hometown discount tire because I've never had this problem before. read more

Y'know, overall I've been going to Discount Tire stores for years now, and while most have been positive, I've been going to this one the most, and it's always been really good service. Years ago I finally succumbed to the road hazard insurance sales pitch and just said yes. Honestly, glad I did, because once you get in their system, doesn't matter what store you go to, they look you up, and deal with your problem. I've loss track of how many times I've gone in over the years to get flats fixed, and never once gotten a charge for it. Last visit in for a tire going flat, they took care of it, and then told me that while they were checking my tires they noticed another tire with a nail in the sidewall. They replaced the tire under the insurance, and only asked if I wanted to insure the NEW, FREE tire they put on. Cost me $14.95 on that trip, how is that not worth it? Prices have always been pretty reasonable. The tires I use are a goofy size, but they usually have a decent option that isn't too outrageously priced. It does get pretty busy at certain times, but other than that service is pretty reasonable. read more

Customer service is dead. Except at Discount Tire and QT. I have never had a bad experience at Discount. And you're never there for a good happy reason. These folks treat you with respect. They do their best to help you with the safest and least expensive option possible. My last visit at this location was to replace a tire they did not have in stock so they told me they'd have to "order" one. Might take a day or so. Got a call a few hours later that they had the tire and it was on the rim ready to install. Took them 15 minutes? Aaaand they put the spare back under the truck so I wouldn't have to relive my misery of destroying my tire and getting that spare out from under my truck. These people spend their entire day with people that walk in in a pretty bad mood. But I always feel like they're going to take care of me and they always do a great job.
