New car with less than 700 miles on it. I got a low pressure warning on my way to a New Year's Eve event. It was flat before I could get off the highway. Having to get two new tires on a new car were not on my bingo card for this year and it just started. But once again, these guys made it pretty painless. They literally had my car ready, and used the other non-flat tire as a full size spare, before I could finish sending a text to the family. How is that even possible??? I'm a customer for life. read more

*Service requested: low tire pressure alert. *service provided: they have a separate quick line for tire checks. I drove up and a very welcoming technician- Niko- helped me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and explained all assessment results and recommendations. *Value: I paid $0 for the service. I only needed air out in my tire. But Niko said "your tire pressure was at 18 psi and the normal is around 36 psi. I don't see any nails or low tread, tears, but if Ddefinitely keep an eye on it and if it. If it drops again, take it in for another assessment..." Fast, friendly service at zero cost. I highly recommend this service at this location. read more

I came in this past Saturday and brought my son Ford Fusion in, due to 2 flat tires. Joseph was the gentleman that helped me, Joseph then proceeds to check the other tires( I'm NOT sure why they just can't focus on what's WRONG). So, Joseph proceeds to tell me my son other two tires needed replacing as well, I didn't think to much of it because my son is headed off to college and i want to make sure he's safe. THEN Joseph proceeds to say "oh, it looks like your son's car needs new windshield wipers" me saying ok( which they were $43) I could have purchased them cheaper and replaced them myself. So, I go in for two flat tires $119 each and $43 for windshield wipers and warranty $76. $25 disposal fee and labor cost. I'm at $755 so I check out and LEAVE my son there to wait on his car. Joseph has my son call me to say that he now needs NEW lumb nuts another $50+ dollars. I tell Joseph "sir don't tell me nothing else is wrong with my son's car" I'm home and telling my husband what happened, my husband tells me to go back up there and take the warranty off the tires. I go back of course he's trying to talk me out of it. While I'm waiting on my refund, i hear his coworker saying "man Joseph is KILLING it today!" I instantly get upset, because while Joseph is out here racking up my tab as if the economy isn't already costly enough. He needs to not be trying to get over on people for his own gain! If you wanted to be a salesman and make commission maybe he should go to a car dealership! I will NEVER go BACK to this Discount Tire! Joseph concerned was NOT to help me, it was to get his quota up on how much he can SALE! These people out here really be taking advantage of us being females! -Monica read more

Deepest apologies. In the past I did have problems at this location, and last time I went was extremely frustrating, but got resolved (was satisfied but irritated) . However, today I went and they were exceptional. So, at first the person didn't put everything back correctly, but that was easily rectified and everything went well. They were very pleasant and did it immediately. I couldn't find my special key for the tire and looked everywhere. Returning to ask where it was. I was not pleasing. They looked. I told the guy search my purse, which I had already done. To my surprise it was there. Not only did they put up with me and so a great fast, quick and efficient service. They put up with me being a pain. My deepest thanks and apologies to them for going out of there way. read more

I came in to get my flat tire patched and aired up, they helped me right away and identified a problem with my tire. Their crew got it changed in 15-20 minutes. Best staff ever, all very nice and friendly. If you have an issue with your tires come here!! read more

Love DT and this location but EVERY time we are here they are under staffed and can't see you for HOURS. H. O. U. R. S. Since Jose left as the Mgr, this place is slowwwwww and cant'r see you in a reasonable amount of time. Right this minute there is NOBODY in the garage yet it will be hours before they can rotate. I guess that's what they do to make you need tires faster. read more

Discount Tire - Nobody in there yet they can't help for HOURS. WTH discount? Let's hire some help!!!! - Tires Near Me - Arlington, Texas

Came in today because the tire sensor light was on and I needed a rotation anyway. Great service! Very courteous and polite!

I brought my 2015 Escalade for my front left TPMS replacement and tires rotate today at 9:40am 10/28/23 with an appointment. I came home 8 mins later to find two of my black wheels were chipped (rt rear and fr left) I took some pictures immediately for record. Last time I was at this same location on the same vehicle for new tires replacement they over charged for the new tires approx. $70-$80 more. Luckily, I had a good manager and he was able to give me back the credit a week later. This has become a common place occurrence for this location. We might have to shop elsewhere for quality service and attention. read more

I've always had good service and quality work from Discount Tire. Their products are excellent and the warranties a good value. I don't go anywhere else for my tire needs. read more

I went to the location on 3704 S Cooper Street in Arlington. I brought in my 1963 Impala to replace 4 tires and the spare. My car wouldn't start after I parked it and the guys pushed it into the bay to work on it. They let me remove the dead battery while in the bay to get a new one. Much thanks and appreciation to Carlos, Evan and Aubrey for being so polite and professional throughout my visit. Aubrey even installed the new battery. I will be back. read more

Had a flat on my Dollar Rental Car rental. Dollar was horrible to deal with...but that is another review. Stopped into this place and we looked at all options. Couldn't repair it due to sidewalk puncture, no used tires, new tire would be north of $200... so we mounted the dinky donut spate tire for me to limp back to the rental car place. Awesome service. Great attitudes. 5 star rating is well deserved on this visit. read more

While out house hunting babe got a nail in his tire, darn construction zones! He had purchased his tires from Discount and their warranty allowed him to replace the tire at no cost. Since he drives an Audi, they didn't have his tire but they plugged the hole and we were on our way in about 30 minutes. The service was fast and friendly, not really what I expected on a busy Saturday afternoon. read more

Came in a while back to get 4 new tires for my car. Explained to them the problems i was having with keeping traction on wet roads. They told me the tires i had been planning on buying were not going to help me and showed me another set that would be better. The set they recommended was cheaper and after a few weeks of having them I can say they work awesome in the rain and solved the hydroplaning problems i was having. They know thier products! read more

Absolutely terrible, for the simple fact of how are you all a predominantly a tire service company, but do not have the proper tools or equipment to complete the only service you provide. You all are the best example of, "How many service techs does it take to tighten down a pair of lug nuts." Then to ask such unnecessary questions when I came in with such a direct request. Asked one service tech one thing, had 3 other techs ask redundant questions for such a simple request, why is beyond me. Store #3704 read more

First off I will say Discount Tires is a great company. I Would NOT recommend this location IF Carlos is working. Every time I have gone to this location I try to get someone else. He does not care about you or your safety. He just wants to get the most money he can on a sale. I came in already knowing what I should be paying for my tires because I previously visited the location and did half my tires already. Somehow my price was $300 more than it was last time. I brought it to his attention and he "reviewed" my previous visit. He made comments about how the person that assisted me before didn't know what he was doing and I got lucky. So he gave me a discount to "Do me a favor" which was only $50. I told him that I'll just go figure it out somewhere else. Went to the Discount Tires down south a few miles. Without telling them I had already visited one location and letting them know what I wanted they had given me the price of what I expected to pay originally. This associate was way more caring than Carlos and actually walked me through the pricing. Basically Carlos was not honoring my warranties/insurance on my tires THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR WHEN I GOT THE TIRES. If you are looking for the best service and pricing with Integrity. DO NOT go to this location. Go south a few miles and the Discount Tires on South cooper is where you want to go. read more

I seem to come to this location the most. Mostly, just for my low tire pressure for them to fill up on some air. Why, because even though I'm a grown woman I don't like to do car things. LOL Today I stopped in to this busy location about 20 minutes before 6:00 when they close. And they were very helpful and fixed my tire and also rebalanced them? I guess they needed that too so thank goodness I stopped in right on time. Only downside to this location is getting out when you leave the parking lot because S. Cooper St is ALWAYS busy it seems! read more

Quick and nice service. Friendly support, will do business again! 4 star for the wait. -.- they should post a wait time, and create a flow chart or take appointment for rapid service, though there is always drop off service. read more

I came by this location about six months when I had a flat. A nice young man who helped me change to the spare recommended Discount Tire as he was a former employee. That was a selling point right there! I was impressed that he thought their customer service was still worth recommending even though he no longer worked there. Anyway, they fixed my flat, no charge, and the manager, Johnny Bowen, recommended I come back in about six months as the tires I had were getting a little low. Because of the amazing service I received there, I came back today and had my tires replaced. In and out in 1/2 hour. Again, outstanding customer service from all the employees I interacted with today. I would definitely recommend this location to anyone who is looking for tire replacement or service. read more

I was driving and accidentally wasn't paying attention hit the curb and it made the tire pop. Thank Goodness I could pull in the parking lot and change it. I put the spare on and decided to go manufacture and for one tire and cap was $500. That was outrageous and a rip off, so I left and came to Discount Tire. The price for wheel, cap, and warranty was $250. Very cheap and it was a good quality. They're having a sale now for rims. Don't go to the manufacture, come to Discount Tire, it's way cheaper and faster. I definitely recommend coming to this location. Jeremy was very nice and helpful. They are very quick too which is a plus. read more

I use this tire store as opposed to the one a half mile from my home. They are professonal and not pushy. The closer one sent me home before with a shake I had to live with for 10 years, due to out of round tires they installed. The near tire store very helpful attendant was almost done with choosing the best 4 of 8 (he re-ordered 4) BF Goodrich, and the manager realized the switching operation and stopped him, instructed him to remove all (3 were completed acceptable), and replace all with the new 4 reordered. That manager no longer works there. The Cooper store north of Arbrook for the present new set on my return for re-balance after shaking on my test drive, re-balanced all four but the manager personally balanced them , indicating to me that the rims are warped, so Perry re-balanced all 4 tires himself and placed the most warped rims on the rear wheels. He also did something I have never heard of- he rotated one of the tires around on the rim termed "Road Force Balancing", because he said it was not positioned well based on the rim imbalance, such that the down force on that wheel would not have equaled with the down force of the other three wheels ! read more

I have used this store for years and even bought the wheels and tires for my suburban there a few years ago. had to replace a tire and when I contacted them about ordering a replacement I was told they could no longer order that size because they had a new system that said the tires were too wide for the wheel. They had no problem selling them to me a couple years ago though. They said I could order 2 of the new sizes and ride around on mismatched tires or, of course, replace all 4. I don't need 4 and don't want mismatched tires. Had to order the tire online and get another shop to throw it on for me. Won't ever go back to discount tire. read more

Unfortunately, I hit a string of bad experiences at this specific Discount Tire: - In October, bought four new tires. My information wasn't input correctly into the system and so for the next couple months I had to make sure to have my paper invoice on-hand for service... for whatever reason, this was not resolved on my first visit back and took multiple visits to fix. - At the end of May, I was given a hard sell for new tires after coming in for a routine rotation. The attendant stated that the tread was low on two of my tires, and that he could give me $15 towards the price of new tires. I had just bought the tires in October! Infuriating. I went to the Discount Tire up the street and the service was performed as requested. I now go to the Discount Tire up the street, but I'd have to think very hard before considering Discount Tire for new tire purchases. read more

Awesome store. I pulled in today (Saturday) at 5:00 thinking that they closed at 6:00. They close at 5:00. Shane greeted me at the door as I glanced at the hours on the door. I told him that I would come back Monday. He insisted that I come in. He found the perfect tires for my car. They were a step up from the tires I had and were a better price than the ones I bought a couple of years ago. Was on my way in 30 minutes. Clean store, great customer service and good prices. read more

I waited for 25 minutes before anyone even walked up to me.. Then I waited another 30 minutes at which point I had to leave because it did not seem like anyone was going to help me. These guys have been of great help to me. I came in yesterday to get my tire pressure checked and they were very quick in greeting me and saying they would be right with me since they had quite the line. When I had finally got to the front of the line and described my issue they were excellent in explaining what the problem was, what caused it, and the possible ways they could repair/fix it along with their own personal suggestion. For a girl like me who doesn't know much about cars, I really appreciated their patience with me and their easy to understand explanation. All of the staff there were very polite and seemed incredibly knowledgeable about what it is they do. I will definitely be coming back to this location in the future! read more

I'd I like to keep this review private get to the point. I had a serious situation that was handled respectfully promptly and without the being talked down to as a previous experience at a different location. let's put it this way I currently live within a mile and a half of a different D.T. Shop, and I will not be going to that location ever again. I will be a customer of the Cooper Street Discount Tire from now on it's only a few extra miles not many but very much worth it! read more

I received a phone call early this morning from Brandon, manager. He informed me that he would be glad to replace the tire that was repaired on Monday. He had the type of tire that I needed. My tires were down to the silver threading. i wish I could recall the name of the gentleman who helped me. He was informative, friendly and patient with me and all my questions. I have run my tires out. It has been over 2 years since these particular tires have been changed out and I exceeded my warranty therefor had to get two brand new tires. I was also attached to someone else's account and he was able to separate me to my own account. They were done in a little over an hour with a few cars ahead of me. I went to grab lunch at a place down the street and I was fixed up and ready to go by the time I got back. Thank you for being patient with me. read more

Ok, so I was driving down Cooper minding my own business when all of a sudden I heard a small bang and my car started handling funny. I knew I had a flat tire and thankfully I saw Discount Tire up ahead! I pulled in and went inside and the assistant manager immediately asked if I needed help. I told him my situation and in about 35 minutes (they were really busy) they were working on my car. I was so happy they fixed it and then another disaster... I had forgotten my wallet at home (idiot, I know)! I told the Asst Manager I didn't have my wallet and and that I was so sorry! This man waved it off and said it was fine and not to worry. As a broke college student who was having a bad day, these guys truly helped me out. This place is now where I will always come to if I need anything for my car. Completely amazing people! read more

We have always purchased are tires from discount tires. We live the free balance and rotation. We frequent the one on Little mostly because it is close but I think I will try more to come to this one. These guys always seem to balance and rotate our cars more accurately. When we take are cars to the one on Little the cars get of balance sooner. Also they keep trying to sell me on a rim issue that this location doesn't notice and says my tires are wearing really well. read more

Helpful, informative, and direct. Jimmy was knowledgeable about everything I needed to know. Directions, prices, reviews, warranties, etc.

This has been my fourth time visiting this Discount Tire location. Typically, since returning to the metroplex, the Collins and Green Oaks location had been my first picks. While each location has been great at providing service. I appreciated the service I received from the Cooper location on October 4th, 2017. After having an accident I needed to replace my tire. This was no trouble for a Mr. Jose Salazar. He was available to listen, reviewed my vehicle and searched for a solution. When we were unable to find one at the cooper location he called around the company network to find a suitable tire. Within a reasonable time Mr. Salazar was able to find a nearby location with a replacement tire. I appreciated his humbleness, attentiveness, and effort to providing service for my vehicle. I understand that their work can be stressful, and knowing the specifics for numerous vehicles can be a bit daunting. None the less he was able to mitigate the situation with ease. Thank you again Jose Salazar, and Matt from Grand Prairie, for providing my car with the correct tire replacement, and myself with the informative knowledge to care for the vehicles tire moving forward. I hope to continue this customer service relation with Discount Tires and recommend them in the future. read more
