Deepest apologies. In the past I did have problems at this location, and last time I went was extremely frustrating, but got resolved (was satisfied but irritated) . However, today I went and they were exceptional. So, at first the person didn't put everything back correctly, but that was easily rectified and everything went well. They were very pleasant and did it immediately. I couldn't find my special key for the tire and looked everywhere. Returning to ask where it was. I was not pleasing. They looked. Last time I was at this same location on the same vehicle for new tires replacement they over charged for the new tires approx. $70-$80 more. I went to the location on 3704 S Cooper Street in Arlington. I brought in my 1963 Impala to replace 4 tires and the spare. My car wouldn't start after I parked it and the guys pushed it into the bay to work on it. They let me remove the dead battery while in the bay to get a new one. Much thanks and appreciation to Carlos, Evan and Aubrey for being so polite and professional throughout my visit. Aubrey even installed the new battery. I will be back. read more

First off I will say Discount Tires is a great company. I Would NOT recommend this location IF Carlos is working. Every time I have gone to this location I try to get someone else. He does not care about you or your safety. He just wants to get the most money he can on a sale. I came in already knowing what I should be paying for my tires because I previously visited the location and did half my tires already. Somehow my price was $300 more than it was last time. I brought it to his attention and he "reviewed" my previous visit. He made comments about how the person that assisted me before didn't know what he was doing and I got lucky. So he gave me a discount to "Do me a favor" which was only $50. I told him that I'll just go figure it out somewhere else. Went to the Discount Tires down south a few miles. Without telling them I had already visited one location and letting them know what I wanted they had given me the price of what I expected to pay originally. This associate was way more caring than Carlos and actually walked me through the pricing. Basically Carlos was not honoring my warranties/insurance on my tires THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR WHEN I GOT THE TIRES. If you are looking for the best service and pricing with Integrity. I came by this location about six months when I had a flat. A nice young man who helped me change to the spare recommended Discount Tire as he was a former employee. That was a selling point right there! I was impressed that he thought their customer service was still worth recommending even though he no longer worked there. Anyway, they fixed my flat, no charge, and the manager, Johnny Bowen, recommended I come back in about six months as the tires I had were getting a little low. I was driving and accidentally wasn't paying attention hit the curb and it made the tire pop. Thank Goodness I could pull in the parking lot and change it. I put the spare on and decided to go manufacture and for one tire and cap was $500. That was outrageous and a rip off, so I left and came to Discount Tire. The price for wheel, cap, and warranty was $250. Very cheap and it was a good quality. They're having a sale now for rims. Don't go to the manufacture, come to Discount Tire, it's way cheaper and faster. I definitely recommend coming to this location. Jeremy was very nice and helpful. I seem to come to this location the most. Mostly, just for my low tire pressure for them to fill up on some air. Why, because even though I'm a grown woman I don't like to do car things. LOL Today I stopped in to this busy location about 20 minutes before 6:00 when they close. And they were very helpful and fixed my tire and also rebalanced them? I use this tire store as opposed to the one a half mile from my home. They are professonal and not pushy. The closer one sent me home before with a shake I had to live with for 10 years, due to out of round tires they installed. The near tire store very helpful attendant was almost done with choosing the best 4 of 8 (he re-ordered 4) BF Goodrich, and the manager realized the switching operation and stopped him, instructed him to remove all (3 were completed acceptable), and replace all with the new 4 reordered. That manager no longer works there. The Cooper store north of Arbrook for the present new set on my return for re-balance after shaking on my test drive, re-balanced all four but the manager personally balanced them , indicating to me that the rims are warped, so Perry re-balanced all 4 tires himself and placed the most warped rims on the rear wheels. He also did something I have never heard of- he rotated one of the tires around on the rim termed "Road Force Balancing", because he said it was not positioned well based on the rim imbalance, such that the down force on that wheel would not have equaled with the down force of the other three wheels ! read more

I have used this store for years and even bought the wheels and tires for my suburban there a few years ago. had to replace a tire and when I contacted them about ordering a replacement I was told they could no longer order that size because they had a new system that said the tires were too wide for the wheel. They had no problem selling them to me a couple years ago though. They said I could order 2 of the new sizes and ride around on mismatched tires or, of course, replace all 4. I don't need 4 and don't want mismatched tires. Had to order the tire online and get another shop to throw it on for me. Won't ever go back to discount tire. read more

Unfortunately, I hit a string of bad experiences at this specific Discount Tire: - In October, bought four new tires. My information wasn't input correctly into the system and so for the next couple months I had to make sure to have my paper invoice on-hand for service... for whatever reason, this was not resolved on my first visit back and took multiple visits to fix. - At the end of May, I was given a hard sell for new tires after coming in for a routine rotation. The attendant stated that the tread was low on two of my tires, and that he could give me $15 towards the price of new tires. I had just bought the tires in October! Infuriating. I went to the Discount Tire up the street and the service was performed as requested. I now go to the Discount Tire up the street, but I'd have to think very hard before considering Discount Tire for new tire purchases. read more

These guys have been of great help to me. I came in yesterday to get my tire pressure checked and they were very quick in greeting me and saying they would be right with me since they had quite the line. When I had finally got to the front of the line and described my issue they were excellent in explaining what the problem was, what caused it, and the possible ways they could repair/fix it along with their own personal suggestion. For a girl like me who doesn't know much about cars, I really appreciated their patience with me and their easy to understand explanation. Ok, so I was driving down Cooper minding my own business when all of a sudden I heard a small bang and my car started handling funny. I knew I had a flat tire and thankfully I saw Discount Tire up ahead! I pulled in and went inside and the assistant manager immediately asked if I needed help. I told him my situation and in about 35 minutes (they were really busy) they were working on my car. I was so happy they fixed it and then another disaster... We have always purchased are tires from discount tires. We live the free balance and rotation. We frequent the one on Little mostly because it is close but I think I will try more to come to this one. These guys always seem to balance and rotate our cars more accurately. When we take are cars to the one on Little the cars get of balance sooner. Also they keep trying to sell me on a rim issue that this location doesn't notice and says my tires are wearing really well. read more

This has been my fourth time visiting this Discount Tire location. Typically, since returning to the metroplex, the Collins and Green Oaks location had been my first picks. While each location has been great at providing service. I appreciated the service I received from the Cooper location on October 4th, 2017. After having an accident I needed to replace my tire. This was no trouble for a Mr. Jose Salazar. He was available to listen, reviewed my vehicle and searched for a solution. When we were unable to find one at the cooper location he called around the company network to find a suitable tire. Within a reasonable time Mr. Salazar was able to find a nearby location with a replacement tire. I appreciated his humbleness, attentiveness, and effort to providing service for my vehicle. I understand that their work can be stressful, and knowing the specifics for numerous vehicles can be a bit daunting. None the less he was able to mitigate the situation with ease. Thank you again Jose Salazar, and Matt from Grand Prairie, for providing my car with the correct tire replacement, and myself with the informative knowledge to care for the vehicles tire moving forward.
