Little did I know that Flyleaf Literature & Libations would be firing on all cylinders. It was a packed house on both floors including a private party in their meeting room on the second floor. One of the workers was kind enough to give me and my Yelp BFF the lay of the land. He shared that Flyleaf was hosting a Boy Band event with great music playing and lots of patrons taking advantage of their Sunday Brunch offerings. It was very festive and standing room only at the moment. They host various theme events every month. Although I have included the menu, their food offerings change too. They had a great book selection. I was impressed that they had four books featured that I recently purchased. I look forward to returning to kick back with a book on their patio with a pastry or two.

I didn't realize that the drinks came without any sort of sweetener, so I requested a splash of simple syrup after, which the barista kindly did for me! I thought their matcha blend was okay. I got it with oat milk which sometimes changes the flavor, so that could definitely be part of it since I've heard so many good things about it previously. My friend's cold brew was a bit sour, but it still did the job of waking him up and getting us on the go! I could definitely see myself going back here to work and try out some of the basics!
