Nice coffee spot just on the other side of Alter. Highly recommend and excited to see more development in this area!

I agree with another reviewer that I was expecting more of a lowkey, jazzy vibe in the inside, but I don't mind much. I chose to sit outside to read for a bit and I'm glad I did because the downtown area was very calm and relaxing - not loud at all. I ordered the mixed berry croissant with cheesecake and it was delicious. I will say it was VERY flaky (which was delicious) but admittedly I felt the croissant was a little overdone (my preference is just for softer croissants so maybe next time I'll try a different pastry warmed up). It was still delicious, though. I also ordered an iced dirty chai with whole milk. Overall, I think this was a disappointing drink. It was honestly kind of tasteless to me (maybe it's because I got it iced?). This isn't enough to knock a review to 4 but I was surprised about it. It was still refreshing to have on a weekday morning reading sesh, though. Overall, great vibes and delicious pastries. Definitely give this spot a try if you're in town!

My mother and I went here once a while back, she was hoping to get a breakfast (she favors any kind of Benedicts), she wasn't feeling any of the sandwiches or menu options, so we ended up only getting their butter croissants and pain au chocolate. Both were decent. They have an extensive variety of breads for whatever occasion. Definitely a go to spot for breads and pastries.

Everything tastes fresh, like actually fresh. Even the fruit! Usually diner fruit is that sad bowl of mushy melon cubes... not here. It's bright, fresh, and clearly cut that morning. My go-to is the quiche and I order it almost every time. It comes with a bran muffin and that fresh fruit and it's just the perfect little breakfast plate. I've also had the veggie Benedict which is fantastic. And their breakfast potatoes; Pro tip: ask them to add onions. Soooo good. Crispy, savory, just hits the spot. The service is also top notch. This is a tight crew that's worked together for years. Everyone moves like a well-oiled machine and they're genuinely nice, not that fake diner nice. The vibe is a cute, eclectic little diner with lots of personality. Nothing fancy, just cozy and welcoming. Honestly one of my favorite restaurants. Always consistent, always delicious. I'll keep coming back.
