We'd heard good things about the food, and both dishes were tasty with pretty good portion sizes for the price. The coffee was average though. My biggest complaint was about the wait time to get a table for two on a farmers market Sunday. I see the reason why they were busy but we were quoted 20-30 mts and got seated an hour later! We'll definitely come back (need to try the French toast and the waffles) but plan better next time I guess.

Yelp helped me find Denica's Real Food Kitchen and it was a delightful experience. From Liliana's recommendation of the Chorizo Breakfast Tostadas which were DELICIOUS and exactly the sort of unique item for which I was looking, to Server Wilmer rapidly delivering the superb food outside to me, who was also gracious enough to bring me out some water and additional salsa, which I didn't realize were available inside as "self-serve," yet he didn't bat an eye. He was great to follow up a few times as well. The chow had fresh sliced avocado, and tomatoes with perfectly cooked eggs on top of crispy tostada-style & chorizo with excellent flavor. Well done!

I almost forgot we had to order first before sitting down lol. I have been on a French Toast kick recently, looking for the best French Toast in the bay. This Ube Stuffed French Toast might have a spot in the top 5. I scarfed this down in like... 10 minutes but it was so good. Ube custard wasn't overwhelming. None of this was overwhelmingly sweet even though it presents itself like a dessert. I have a sweet tooth tho so take that with a grain of salt lol. I only used a little bit of syrup but could've easily went without it. The banana in the middle was perfectly ripe and gave a nice relief of sweet freshness. Toast was thick brioche toast so not the lil flimsy slices of bread. Because this was $22 + tax and tip... I will try to recreate this at home. Their napkins had a nice message on it! Didn't remember seeing that the last time I was at a Denica's. They also have what looks like a kid area with toys? Kid table? Idk I saw it in the corner of my eye but I thought that was cool too. I had a bite of the kalua pork hash and * chefs kiss I would've been happy to order that. My lady really enjoyed the cookie butter latte as well. Will happily come back soon.

The ambience of this place has very brunch vibes, but overall the meal looked pretty traditional Thai. We started off with the spring rolls, which were extremely tasty, although there were small in quantity. We got the Tom Kha soup, which was extremely flavorful. For the main course we got green curry, which was very tasty with lots of vegetables. The kids got a veggie noodle soup, which was light yet flavorful with loads of garlic perfect for the kids. The star of the show was the Khao Soi. It was really something like I have never had before. There was only one server for about 10 tables so we didn't get much in terms of service, but it didn't take too long for her to bring out the food. We had to even serve our ourselves water. I'll definitely still go back here though.

Overall I was very pleased with the balance and flavor of this drink. This is probably my favorite latte in Livermore so far. I would come back in a heartbeat. Great, chill vibes here. The potatoes came severely under cooked and unseasoned. And were mostly a plate of sautéed vegetables and less potatoes. The last visit our server was basically ignoring our table. This cute, diner-style restaurant has a casual, welcoming vibe where you order at the counter first, then find a seat and wait for your food to be brought out. I ordered the "This and That" with buttermilk pancakes, bacon, and eggs cooked my way, hubby got the chorizo breakfast burrito, and our friends went with the pink guava pancakes and veggie omelette. The place was BUSY, filled with lively conversations, clinking dishes, and the mouthwatering aromas of breakfast being served! Service was quick and friendly despite the crowd. They also have an impressive display of pastries, cookies, pies, and tarts that looked almost too good to pass up. Everything we tried was delicious, and there's even a small play area in the back to keep the little ones entertained. Great food, generous breakfast options, and a fun, bustling atmosphere make this a spot worth visiting. Definitely a great way to fuel up before a road trip!
