Decent ice cream, terrible customer service. Was on line for approximately 10min. Once I got to the window, the guy told me to wait and slammed the window shut. Meanwhile, he just stood there, relaxing. He showed no interest and looked away while taking our order. He then proceeded to toss the clipboard at me to sign my receipt. We stopped in for ice cream on a drive down A1A back to Orlando. Ordering is not all that advanced and the staff was mildly friendly. This is a cash only place - and they have an ATM which didn't work when we were there. We ordered 4 small chocolate/vanilla twist cones. They didn't look like smalls at all! They were huge!! Loved the little cone buddy that came with it to prevent some big messy ice cream melts. There are a number of really creepy/old carnival rides all around the outside. Meh. That's literally all Moo's is: meh. You're better off going across the causeway to Del's Freez. Moo's soft serve is more icy/watery than it is creamy. The drive-thru is slow. Menu is underwhelming. Overpriced. We had a blizzard-esque treat (vanilla soft serve with Reese's) and a coffee shake. My "blizzard" (or whatever they call it) was ok, but with mediocre ice cream, ok is all it was. Husband's coffee shake was gross. SUPER sweet ... Didn't try any food but ice cream was typical I guess lol. We all got our stuff soon after ordering! I had the peanut butter cup blizzard-type-thing (I don't remember what it's called) and it was good... the chunks of the Reece's cups were big and yummy! Everyone else liked their ice cream too... the ice cream cones and cups are done by sizes, not scoops, so a regular is three giant scoops! Almost too much, but there's little plastic pieces around the cone to catch the drips, which is definitely needed. The men's bathroom was absolutely disgusting (I was told)- the floors were awful and it smelled terrible and just dirty overall. (We told them about it.) There is no indoor ordering or sitting, it's two small windows to order at and pick up, with benches and little coin rides outside. There also is a drive thru. So tonight I looked up soft serve ice cream in the Melbourne area and Moo's popped up. Yelp page for them showed them closing at 11pm. I walked up to the window minutes, and I mean like 3 or 4 minutes after 10. I know everyone has a closing time. All I wanted was a soft serve cone. I know there is no way that machine was already cleaned or the cash register was already closed out. The very young girl just said sorry we are closed. If she had interest in her job, or even knew what costumer service is, she should have consider asking me what exactly I wanted. And she would have realized it was something very simple and a negative review would not be written. Not to mention missing out on a tip. I am sure the food and ice cream is very good, and every time I passed by it seemed to be busy. The reason for this bad review is maybe a manger, hopefully of the age of 20 who cares about costumer service, will see this. Or maybe the owner. Excellent. Went by tonight for a treat and treat it was. Love the home made flavors. I had a banana slit with toasted coconut, coffee and carrot cake. Each were really good. But dam that carrot cake was like eating frozen cream cheese frosting with walnuts. We have been going by Moos for a few years now and have never been disappointed. When we were on our low fat diet a few years ago we loved their flavors that changed out weekly. You can not go wrong. My brother and I were debating on Moos or Cold Stone Creamery. Being on vacation, we try to eat local, non-chain when possible. I was disappointed. Perhaps my standard is too high due to having possibly the best frozen yogurt in our locale, but I found Moo's to be nothing special. They did give generous helpings on their cones, but it wasn't a whole lot better than from the grocery store. It looked a little run down (broken down coin rides), but they did have a goofy "utter" that the kids enjoyed "milking." I wouldn't return. It was just average. read more

Just had the misfortune of sitting in the drive through line for a half an hour only to be told they had shut off their grill and weren't making anymore hot dogs. Don't you think they could put a sign that said we don't serve hot dogs after a certain time so people wouldn't have to wait in line for nothing. In addition the girl at the window was a real brat, didn't even apologize. We went next door and got great hot dogs at Longdoggers and the girl at the window couldn't have been nicer. I would highly recommend Longdogers for their quality of food and service. I would give Moo's Soft Serve no stars for being so inconsiderate. read more

This is my third review of the famous three Florida Route A1A beach-side restaurants in Satellite Beach. So we tried an Insane meal and a Dog Gone good meal. Afterwords we had a craving for cool down desert. Should we drive somewhere or go without...NO! Just follow the beach crowd a few steps down the beach to where the old VW bugs are painted like cows. Yea, its got the same cool little beach joint vib and the same outdoor seating under the Florida sun & sand as the other two. And yea, its right on the famous AIA beach drive. My wife and I both ordered the Blueberry Cheese Cake and it was very very good. Rich creamy, ice cold heaven with or without the cone. So I ordered a cone the first scoop was delicious then I found a price of rubber in it and broken pieces of ceramic I think it could have been from a machine. The others in my party enjoyed the flavors they ordered one was carrot cake and it must have been popular because they ran out and could only do one scoop. Wow now THIS is amazing chocolate soft serve ice cream. Not sweet frozen goo. They had me do a double-take. This is a charming locals-only type of joint off A1A that are known primarily for soft serve ice-cream but also serve hot dogs. Not a fan of their coney island-style hot dogs (especially given the proximity to long dogger's) however their ice cream is creative and good. Its a classic old-school soft serve with various shell dippings such as butterscotch and chocolate. They have a variety of soft serves, including off beat ones such as orange, superman, and cake batter. Its affordable, easy to park at, and the kids love it. If you really want some good ice cream get their chocolate dipped in chocolate. You will swear you are eating cold pudding, its quite amazing. I have also had their vanilla dipped in butterscotch. Not as unique as the chocolate, Their vanilla is rather tame. They used to have peanut butter soft serve and peanut butter shell. That was classic but alas it has not returned in quite a while. I've only had their soft serve and it is good. The service is, however, not that great. I ordered a hot fudge sundae with Reese's pieces and ended up with chunky peanut butter cups and no whipped cream. Not the end of the world but clearly they just don't pay attention. A guy ordered some food and had to bring it back up because it had onions on it after he asked them to hold the onions... Just not very good service. Also, it really needs to be cleaned up. Abismal visit. Out of just about everything we asked for. Got to watch a trainie kid getting harrassed by trainer and fold under the pressure. The trainer was obviuosly pleased to be in charge of someone. Nothing was fresh. Out of chocolate ice cream? Our complaints were met with a valid, yet unsucessful, attempts to repair the disastrous preparations.
