    Insanity fries

This place is SO cool. I got the insanity fries, Chicago dog, and notorious PIG with an elderberry cider. Everything tasted very fresh and came out hot. The flavors were super interesting. I loved everything about this place. The vibes are incredible. The staff were all super friendly. Outdoor seating, plenty of parking, and they have beers on draft. I absolutely loved this place.

This has the be the best dog in Fla. Prove me wrong, I'll wait. No seriousl, this is a great hot dog, all beef Vienna and served on a poppyseed roll. Who could go wrong at this hip little hot dog stand in historic downtown Melbourne, Fla. we live 20 mins south and are in Melbourne at least 1-2 times a month, and even though there are some wonder eateries in the area, Mustard's Last stand is our go to. As well as the locals. Step up to the counter order your dog and grab a cold beer I. Tap or a soft drink...

Great joint! Huge menu of hot dogs. I have to try a place with an often mismade classic: The Chicago Dog. Verdict? Best one that I've had outside of Chicago, and may take a few Windy Weenie places to the woodshed. Service is counter/deliver but it was excellent! Lots of parking on the weekends. A six star hole-in-the-wall. Multiple locations. This one rocks!

If you want a unique experience with food, head to Mustard's Famous Dogs in Melbourne, FL. Not only can you get your basic hot dog with mustard and kraut, but you can get a hot dog called "Elvis Pigsley"!! It's a grilled hot dog with pulled pork, bacon, homemade slaw and spicy BBQ sauce. The list is endless of the way you can have a hot dog fixed. If you can imagine it, chances are it can be done. Then there's the fries. Shoestring potatoes seasoned perfectly with kosher salt. But...that's not all. Garlic fries. Chili cheese fries. And then there's Southwest fries: chili, cheese, onion, bacon and BBQ sauce. Firecracker fries: cheese, siracha and fresh garlic. And...and...and...they have truffle fries!! Fresh garlic, truffle parmesan and a balsamic glaze. I've got to come back for those!!

Fast food haven with almost an unlimited selection of variations of the Vienna dog. A pleasant and Friendly experience with staff and the food delivered on what I was in the mood for.

Love everything here. Excellent menu, quick and easy service, with a calm vibe that makes you want to stay and hang out. I make a stop here every time I'm in Melbourne. Establishment sits independently off the road with a private parking lot in the back. Inside and outside seating. Drive through is a sign with a phone number to place your order then staff comes to your vehicle to complete transaction.

So many glizzies to choose from at the popular hot dog stand. I've passed it every time I've come to Melbourne and finally stopped in, so glad I did !

Almost all my experiences with vegan hot dogs have been bad... but I finally found one that I thoroughly enjoyed!! They use Alpha dogs and boy believe me when I say BEST hot dog. It was also very affordable which is always a plus, 14 bucks for everything we got! Love this place, and they also offered beyond burgers so that's super awesome as well!

A perfect spot for a simple hot dog and fries. Comfort food at a great price with speedy service.

Clearly a Local favorite in Melbourne, Florida with two locations. The original location and the Downtown Melbourne location we visited. Mustards is a family owned business running since 1987. They feature Chicago style hot dogs. We have been wanting to come here for a year since moving to Brevard and finally got some to-go food. Upon first impression the art outside is awesome from a local favorite artist Petal and Bone (Lego people who are famous performers such as Hendrez). When I went inside the gentleman who took my order was very kind and helpful. I got the Chicago Dog and the pickle chips. Both were amazing. Dear I say better than the hot dog I had in Chicago. The pickle chips had a very tasty sauce. My husband got a chili cheese dog and fries. He loved the dog and was convinced the fries were exactly like McDonald's. Skinny and delicious. Lastly we ordered a hot dog for my son and they were kind enough to slice it up for him. The atmosphere at the restaurant was very chill with a large outdoor seating area. We can't wait to come back.

Without a doubt my favorite hot dog joint in Florida. I drive from Vero (45 minute drive) when I have a craving & it's worth it. Cute hole in the wall with tons of decor to keep your eyes busy. Rueben dog is my go to, the pickle with the sauerkraut together does something to my brain! Other faves are the Elvis Pigsly, and the Cowboy. There are so many options you are bound to find something you love. Con- Soda brand is Stubborn Soda & their cola is a little different. I try to play it safe with root beer.

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Out of all the restaurants still in business in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area of the Space Coast, the one that has truly lasted the test of time is The Burger Inn. Located on US-1, The Burger Inn is a testament to the city's history as the restaurant was first founded back in 1952. That was a time when Melbourne was the eastern point for cattle herding in Central Florida. US-1 was still a dirt road back then. As a matter of fact, The Burger Inn is one of the five-oldest restaurants still in business in Brevard County. By age, it is the second-youngest (Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, FL is younger while Ashley's, Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, and the Old Fish House Bar & Grille are older). The age The Burger Inn shows is more a testament to its delightfully tacky charm more so than be dated. In short, their age equates to experience and wisdom that still makes them a popular choice amongst restaurant-goers anywhere, both locals and tourists alike. The Burger Inn is located on the eastside of US-1, just a little ways north of the Eau Gallie Art District, but just a little ways south of the Big Orange roadside attraction. Take note that the entrance into The Burger Inn is a "right turn only," so patrons going south will need to turn in at the light before or after The Burger Inn and take the residential roads to it. The Burger Inn, as mentioned earlier, is delightfully tacky in its charm. It has the updated design of a 1960s drive-thru diner with its bright colors of the time. Think of a lot of red and yellow, neon lights, and black-and-white checker floors. If it further helps, think of movies like Grease. The majority of seating is outdoors with stone chairs and tables which were famously used in old-school garden parks of the 1970s with their tile mosaic designs. The seating is shaded and have roll-down canvas covers to block sunlight and wind just in case. The bar area is still intact with all the old-school cookery right in front of you. But take note people were "smaller" back then so if you are bigger or taller person, sitting at the bar will be uncomfortable. This is a burger dive bar so most of your food will be of that preference. But unlike other places, they still place precedence on their classic burgers, sides, and milkshakes. You can truly attest to the rest of their menu if their basics are delicious, and I will say their regular cheeseburger, fries, and shake are more than good, but have that satisfaction from eating a good ole' fast food meal back when such was done with actual care. That doesn't mean The Burger Inn has not kept with the times. They have updated their menu to include present day offerings such as chili-cheese fries, onion rings, mozerella cheese sticks, and much more. Finally on the food, they do have a challenge in which you eat a 10-patty cheeseburger, a large order of chili-cheese fries, and a 32 oz. shake in less than 30 minutes, you will get a free t-shirt and your meal is free. If you fail, you pay $40 for the attempt (which is not bad for a price if you think about it). Actually, everything on their menu is priced decently. A burger is about $5, which is fair given inflation, but worth it when you are eating a wholesome old-fashioned burger. Probably the only Issue worth addressing is the restroom. Remember how I said the bar seems to be made for people at a time when they were smaller. The same goes for the restroom. It is literally only a single unisex room that somehow is smaller than the space in a portable potty. The toilet literally runs under the sink. Talk about a tight squeeze. Despite that minute details, I have never been disappointed eating here at The Burger Inn. They've always been consistent with their food, especially during a time when specialty groups seem to naysay on what we can or cannot eat. Ergo, I am giving them five-out-of-five stars. Definitely give The Burger Inn a chance.

I've ordered a different burger each time and each one was a fulfilling, flavorful experience. I may NEVER get to taste any of their other menu items because the burgers are THAT GOOD.
