This was a mile from our hotel and we were in the mood for some ice cream. We ordered an Ice cream and a shaved ice. It was quick ordering and the girl was nice. Now.. we waited about 20-30 minutes just to get our food. The girls who were bringing out the orders - maybe one was calling out the customers names. The others were just shouting out the orders. It's very chaotic. The ice cream and shaved ice were good though.

The "Coney Island Hotdogs" pulled us in after a quick visit to Ace Hardware next door. The decor here is off the charts fun, and I am guessing people come here for the ice cream... not us as we wanted dogs! My husband got the Coney, I am more of a kraut dog gal and we sit an order of very freshly made fries. The hotdogs were a solid 3 stars, nothing more and nothing less. Service was friendly!

What can I say? The giant cow really got me. Was I hungry after dinner? No. But when you see a cow themed dessert spot, you stop by! I can see that this really is a local gem -- the vibes are family friendly fun. They do have a sign that says no one under the age of 14 is allowed without being accompanied by an adult. I need to know what happened that prompted this policy! We got their brownie sundae -- all the way with calypso crunch ice cream. That's chocolate, with peanut butter swirl and pretzel bites. Was it a chocolate overload? Yes. Did we finish it? No. But we didn't regret it one bit! This is a super fun spot and I bet in the summer it's a huge hit!

I like the ambiance of the place, it feels like a very local spot to get together with your friends. The decorations are silly but charming. The ice cream was generally quick to come out and the employee allowed us to try several flavors before picking one. I think the ice cream was just okay in terms of both quality and taste, but I still enjoyed my time eating it. I would come here again and try another flavor though.

This is definitely a great family friendly ice cream store. I like that they have the drive-through for added convenience. I also like that they have items for dogs. It seems very inclusive to all. I love getting the cherry dipped cone. The soft serve here is delicious. They also have french fries and hotdogs.

This ice cream and hotdog place has a service window. The staff is polite and friendly. We love coming here to get our hotdog fix. I love mine with sauerkraut and mustard. Plenty of choices including sugar, dairy free, and lots of flavors I. Their menu.

We vacation in cocoa beach every year, and we drive down every year to get moo's because it's so good. I've had many different flavors but the carrot cake is so good and I would highly recommend. All their flavors are delicious. They have an adorable outdoor seating area with old carnival games and a big fan to keep you cool. The kids that serve you are always so polite and diligent! They even have dairy free flavors if you're dairy sensitive, like me!

Love Moo's! It's a great local spot and I love stopping by whenever I'm in the area! They have so many options and I jump between the hand scooped ice cream and the shaved ice. There's a lot of outside seating and the employees are nice.

Probably hands down the best ice cream I've ever eaten. Great selections choices of types of creamy deliciousness. Great prompt service. Old nostalgic decorations, the coolest place. I'd drive out of my way to come back here

Moo's has ALL the flavors!! Go for the Key Lime Pie. The Graham Cracker crust bits make it dreamy.

The Burger Inn

**INITIAL REVIEW**…read more Out of all the restaurants still in business in the Melbourne/Palm Bay area of the Space Coast, the one that has truly lasted the test of time is The Burger Inn. Located on US-1, The Burger Inn is a testament to the city's history as the restaurant was first founded back in 1952. That was a time when Melbourne was the eastern point for cattle herding in Central Florida. US-1 was still a dirt road back then. As a matter of fact, The Burger Inn is one of the five-oldest restaurants still in business in Brevard County. By age, it is the second-youngest (Dixie Crossroads in Titusville, FL is younger while Ashley's, Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, and the Old Fish House Bar & Grille are older). The age The Burger Inn shows is more a testament to its delightfully tacky charm more so than be dated. In short, their age equates to experience and wisdom that still makes them a popular choice amongst restaurant-goers anywhere, both locals and tourists alike. The Burger Inn is located on the eastside of US-1, just a little ways north of the Eau Gallie Art District, but just a little ways south of the Big Orange roadside attraction. Take note that the entrance into The Burger Inn is a "right turn only," so patrons going south will need to turn in at the light before or after The Burger Inn and take the residential roads to it. The Burger Inn, as mentioned earlier, is delightfully tacky in its charm. It has the updated design of a 1960s drive-thru diner with its bright colors of the time. Think of a lot of red and yellow, neon lights, and black-and-white checker floors. If it further helps, think of movies like Grease. The majority of seating is outdoors with stone chairs and tables which were famously used in old-school garden parks of the 1970s with their tile mosaic designs. The seating is shaded and have roll-down canvas covers to block sunlight and wind just in case. The bar area is still intact with all the old-school cookery right in front of you. But take note people were "smaller" back then so if you are bigger or taller person, sitting at the bar will be uncomfortable. This is a burger dive bar so most of your food will be of that preference. But unlike other places, they still place precedence on their classic burgers, sides, and milkshakes. You can truly attest to the rest of their menu if their basics are delicious, and I will say their regular cheeseburger, fries, and shake are more than good, but have that satisfaction from eating a good ole' fast food meal back when such was done with actual care. That doesn't mean The Burger Inn has not kept with the times. They have updated their menu to include present day offerings such as chili-cheese fries, onion rings, mozerella cheese sticks, and much more. Finally on the food, they do have a challenge in which you eat a 10-patty cheeseburger, a large order of chili-cheese fries, and a 32 oz. shake in less than 30 minutes, you will get a free t-shirt and your meal is free. If you fail, you pay $40 for the attempt (which is not bad for a price if you think about it). Actually, everything on their menu is priced decently. A burger is about $5, which is fair given inflation, but worth it when you are eating a wholesome old-fashioned burger. Probably the only Issue worth addressing is the restroom. Remember how I said the bar seems to be made for people at a time when they were smaller. The same goes for the restroom. It is literally only a single unisex room that somehow is smaller than the space in a portable potty. The toilet literally runs under the sink. Talk about a tight squeeze. Despite that minute details, I have never been disappointed eating here at The Burger Inn. They've always been consistent with their food, especially during a time when specialty groups seem to naysay on what we can or cannot eat. Ergo, I am giving them five-out-of-five stars. Definitely give The Burger Inn a chance.

It's been 6 months since my initial review, and I've eaten at Burger Inn now four times…read more The sign out front says "Best Burger In Town". I think I have to agree. I've ordered a different burger each time and each one was a fulfilling, flavorful experience. I may NEVER get to taste any of their other menu items because the burgers are THAT GOOD. I love this place! Worth the 8-mile drive from Rockledge. Thank you, again.
