We got the New England style clam chowder (one of us got the cup, the other the bowl), and we shared the Twin Fin, a delicious combo of shrimp, grouper or clam strips. We chose the shrimp and clams. An eclectic menu that actually delivers LongDoggers is one of those rare places with an eclectic menu where everything we've tried actually works. We've all been to restaurants with big menus that only execute one category well--or where anything outside their comfort zone falls flat. That wasn't the case here. This was our second visit, returning two years after our first stop while traveling to the drive-thru Bethlehem at Lakewood Park Church (phenomenal and highly recommended). Driving down again in mid-December for the same event, we considered trying somewhere new--but the memory of LongDoggers brought us back. The atmosphere is casual with a sports-bar vibe, and the food is genuinely good. No food photos this time--we were too hungry to wait --but I did grab pictures of the menu. Our table ordered: * Blackened Shrimp Lettuce Tacos * Banzai Shrimp Bowl * Cool Ranch Chicken Sandwich * Buffalo Chicken Wrap Every dish was a hit. Most of what we ordered landed around the $15 range, with the total going up if you upgrade your side. Portions were solid and the quality matched the price point. Service was friendly and well-paced--prompt without hovering. Our server shared the specials and offered helpful recommendations. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived around 1:00 pm on a Saturday and were seated immediately in a booth inside. When we left, there was a noticeable line and a wait. Five of us on a late lunch, place was packed inside but the covered and enclosed patio was available. Nice and cozy with multiple heaters going ( it was a windy and chilly day for central Florida). Came here for lunch during a work trip and it was the perfect break spot! Really cool beachy vibes in the covered outside and inside. I got the summer salad and it was fab!! To say I had multiple people recommend Long Doggers to me and defined it as an institution, would be an understatement. Whether it was local guides, shop owners, our Airbnb host, we had multiple people suggest this local chain. The fact that there are multiple locations within a short radius of each other gave further weight to this discussion. We visited long dog is in Cocoa Beach after looking around the area and enjoying a walk down on the beach. Although we are already planning on going to this location we did see that there was a lunch offer which we did take up, which was a fantastic deal, a drink, main and chips, this may or may not be a limited time offering but if it's available it's a great deal! If not the prices were fair regardless. The staff were great and really helpful despite our various questions. The locations, of which we passed three, were all nicely decorated, designed and well thought out. We got our food promptly and it was all delicious and exactly what we needed after a few hours in the sand. We will be back, perhaps to one of the other locations next time! read more

The restaurant is so fantastic. They have a great size menu with affordable pricing. I came here with my family and my brother got a huge hot dog. My mother got an Italian sausage sandwich. I got the pickle chick sandwich (it has pickle sauce on a crispy chicken sandwich). Our food was so good that we finished everything in the restaurant and didn't have anything left over. My husband and I love this place so much that we went an hour out of our way home from Thanksgiving to stop to get an early dinner before heading home. The ambiance is great with all the surfing stuff all around and sports on all the TVs. The food just as great as we remembered. The staff is so friendly and welcoming, we love it. I ordered the twin combo with the shrimp and grouper. I also love the tartar sauce. They have there . It was fabulous and of course you have to get the coleslaw. I ordered too because I love it so much. My grouper and shrimp were cooked to perfection and just delicious. My husband got the mahi sandwich, that was fresh and it was so delicious. A friend took us here for dinner last night after a long 10+ hour travel day and it was exactly I needed. The atmosphere was fun, the staff were incredibly friendly, and the heated outdoor patio was comfortable. I had the two fin plate with grouper and shrimp and it was perfectly fried and seasoned. My friend had the boneless jerk rubbed wings and was also amazed at the quality and flavor. The draft beer was cold and tasted fresh too. They are observant and one of them takes on the task, getting drinks, clearing plates, delivering the food. The food was really good. We just stopped on for an early lunch as we had 7 hours to kill before our flight home (left Celebrity APEX this morning). They were one of the only places open and we are so glad they were!
