Also when he does not succeed in getting you to spend more than you need, he attempts to talk you out of the courtesy car wash which they pride themselves on. I recently purchased a pre-owned Cadillac CTS from this dealer. I am highly disappointed with their customer service. I planned to look at that particular model CTS at a Maryland dealer closer to where I live, particularly since Moore Cadillac was asking more than the market value for the car. However, after many phone calls from a very enthusiastic and aggressive salesperson, Jonathan Greaves, I was induced into coming to Moore Cadillac. First, Greaves misled me about the car by stating that it had the fold down rear seats that I was seeking. This was the only reason that I would have driven 45 minutes from Md to VA to shop for a car. After I got there and discovered this misrepresentation, Greaves incredibly claimed that he thought the seats folded down but that he had looked at the car in haste and was mistaken. I should have left at that point, but he persuaded me to deal with him because I managed to get him to reduce his price. After finalizing the deal Greaves provided me with one key and keyless entry fob and the promise that the dealer would get me another key. I waited two hours for the car to be prepped only to discover later that It required an oil change that I had to pay for out of pocket. At that time I also got the car inspected in MD and was informed that the right tire and front brakes barely passed and probably has a month of life left. I returned to the dealer to get reimbursed for the oil change and inspection and to discuss these worn parts that were not revealed during the negotiations. Now, I run a federal agency and my time is valuable and as a manager, I respect the time of others. This dealership, however saw fit to have me wait another two hours for the sales manager Ken Bell while being disrespectfully treated by the assistant sales manager whose name I can't recall. Mr. Bell did reimburse me for the oil change and inspection but claimed that their obligation regarding the brakes and the tire is only limited to whether the car could pass inspection therefore I was out of luck. He said that he would try to get me a discount on service when I needed the brake job and tire, but that this would have to be worked out with the service department. Regarding the additional key, Mr Bell, after my several unreturned phone calls to both he and Mr. Greaves, has now reneging on supplying the extra key and is now claiming that the promise of the extra key was contingent on them locating one. (they offered to quote me the cost of having one made). The sales person, Mr Greaves has yet to answer my calls. One would think that for the sake of good customer service that this dealer would make good on this relatively low cost commitment - one that might restore good will and the possibility of future business. It is my opinion that their business model is based on arrogance, deceit, shortsightedness and stupidity. I would not recommend this dealership under any circumstances and will certainly not be having my car serviced there. read more

I've never written a review for a car or for a purchase of something, but when you go here you feel compelled to yell. I needed to let everyone know that they are the best they set you straight no BS no games just straight up realness. Dwayne Butler is the best. I've never ever have had a sales manager do and say what he did to be able to help me understand the process and help me get out of the pickle I was in. This service was primarily due to several recalls on my SRX. The service writer recommended that I take a loaner vehicle for the day, while the maintenance was being completed. He took the extra step of ensuring that an SRX was available as loaner, since I required the extra cargo space to complete a personal task that day. The service writer contacted me to update me on progress and also recommended one additional service that was overdue. By the time I returned to the dealership that afternoon, all of the maintenance had been completed to my satisfaction. I have never been dissapppointed by Moore's and I have purchased, leased, and had service performed on four Cadillacs. read more

This is by far the worst place to be tr a car serviced. Poor poor poor people skills. They do not stand behind their warranty. I've been to this dealer a couple times to have service done. The older man who works there lied to me on my estimate to fix and throws hidden fees in. I recently left this review from a survey they sent me.... I first pull in and no one acknowledged me. I walk in to the Hispanic last to ask for help and she immediately tells me she's swamped and too busy. Told me to see if someone else is available to help and she couldn't. No one is in her office I'd like to say and she can't help. Smh! I go speak with the guy next to her office and he's not friendly or empathetic. Seemed like I was last on his mind for helping. Your dealership lacks empathy. Caring for customers. It's like robots in there and only friendly service u get is if I'm willing to buy another car. You lack people skills. Salesman Kevin was great, helped me with my used vehicle 2015, however less then 2 months later the car did not turn on, I was told the battery was bad. Called the dealership sales manager Mike told me he could not do anything to help me . I just spent thousands of dollars on a vehicle , why cant you spend maybe $100 and replace my battery! Extremely disappointing, you would think they would do the right thing, but of course not. Another dealership doing typical slimey business. Very frustrated with service department. After buying our car there(CTS) and spending thousands of dollars there over the years, you would expect better service. We had an unresolved issue involving an expensive repair that should have been covered under the manufacture's warranty. After many phone calls and a repair that took longer than expected, the service manager didn't even call us back to at least say something(as promised after our conversation), anything at all. I purchased a used mitsubishi here and my experience was positive. I inquired online about the vehicle which was the lowest price and only one out there with the package I wanted. I went in the car was in good shape but had a engine light on, it was under factory warranty so no big deal, I went ahead and purchased the car and waited until the car was fixed to pick it up. I talked directly with the tech and he said it was a loose piece on the timing chain so he replaced that and also threw in an oil change of mobil one oil. So that will save me from having to do that for a little bit. All in all a good experience the salesman Dan was not pushy but just kept the process moving along. read more

Horrible service for my 2010 Misubishi! I went because received a flier from Moore Misubishi which is newly open. First time setup an appointment , but still waited half hours because they're busy in taking care of walk-in customers. After all, not very bad. Second time, I had some damages. Called for an 8am appointment. Showed up on-time, nowhere found the service guy. waited 40 mins, came in to tell me he's busy again, claimed I didn't make an apointment, deserved to wait! Waited 3+ hours, got wheel balanced. But need to order 3different parts from the warehouse, promised me parts will show up next day. But I made an apointment in 3 days. Third time, I showed up for that appointment, he's there this time. After 1 hour, I went to ask him how it's going. He surprised me! 1 part received being worked on, 1 part didn't come in, but have to pick it up on another location takes 4 hours! Another hour passed, I saw my car parked in front of his office. Just to be sure, I checked the broken parts on the rear, not replaced either!! He then told me wrong parts delivered for the rear, have to come in for that anothe time. Spent 3.5 hours! Believe it or not, I can not get any repair estimate! By now, I am not sure whether to go back or visit another Mits dealership which is 15 mins further. read more

This visit was to correct errors made my Moore Service the month before. A lot of money was spent on repairing the power steering of the car in Jan. Sad that the car with only 44k miles had a complete failure of the power steering, but that is another issue. The fact that repair failed in less then a month (less then 800 miles) makes me question the ability of the service tech. Moore service "Good willed" the repair this time, but claimed what had failed was not part of the repair. Come on! the power steering was in trouble, all the parts should have been inspected with replacement of anything questionable. The fact that the high pressure hose failed tells me service failed to even inspect it. Second issue is the tires, they are worn, I asked that the best two be put on the front twice. Twice asked, twice Not done. Service writer even wrote down my request. So, either he failed to tell the mechanic or the mechanic could not be bothered. If it was a question of fee, tell me, I would have been glad to pay it to keep the car safe. Now I have to go to someplace else to move the tires around. Third, when I got there to pick-up the car. Car was there but no keys or paperwork at cashier. 20 minutes of people running around making calls until the keys were found. Lame, very lame. As such, my confidence that Moore can safely repair or do the body work the car needs is very low. The impression I get is that nobody at Moore considers that car or me important to do any job on it right. Whether the job is a minor issue or major one, it's just not important enough to care. read more

Collision used to be run well. I have had work done here a few times in the past years. Now they leave you up in the air for info. Was told car was ready on Friday then no one got back to me. I phoned up 4 times with no one working having a clue. The next day was told by a front desk girl that it shows parts were ordered but no work done. ???? Unacceptable. People take days off to be available to pick up the car what has happened to communication here. Obviously new people in place for management are not customer oriented as they once we're. read more

First...I will be honest and say that my buying experience was positive. I purchased a used ATS Performance, and overall it went fairly smoothly; better than others trade in value, movement on price, etc. The deal was done in what I consider an acceptable amount of time. Service, however, is a different animal. I really don't have any confidence in their technicians. Sure, they can do schedule oil changes with no problems, but other work seems to be beyond their ability to get "right". I had an appointment at 10am, but found out at 3pm that they were "busy" and it took 2 extra days to get my car back. My technician, Melissa, was very nice, but returned exactly ZERO of my phone calls when I left a message for a status (I left 3 messages, and have left 3 message for a follow up service). My 4 wheel alignment, for the small fee of $140, left me with a tilted steering wheel. It's not horrible, but seriously, this is "alignment 101" where the steering wheel should be in horizontal position when the car is moving forward. This is the second time I've walked away from an alignment with this problem. I'm done. Also, they tried to upsell me for those phantom revenue enhancing "throttle body cleaning" & "fuel induction service", which anyone with a mechanic friend or Google can search for and find out that it's totally unnecessary and just a fancy way to charge money for little to no real work. I expected that a CADILLAC dealership would not act like a used car lot, but they did, this is not what I expect from a dealership trying to live up to the Cadillac reputation. I have a remaining service request with them, but honestly, at this point, I'm not convinced I want them to touch my car...I do not have a very positive impression of their service dept, that's for sure, for a brand that presents themselves as elite & best of the best, this dealership falls far short. read more

The insurance guy was thorough in his inspection and made sure I understood exactly what would be repaired and why. And the Enterprise car rental guy was equally as professional. Highly Recommended for Service! My car had 2 engine lights on that indicated real issues with the Brake Assist and Stabiltrak messages. OnStar report told me to have it serviced within a week. It may take awhile to get an appointment but it was still right at the one week mark and I was driving my Cadillac all the time. Matt was my service manager and he was easy to understand and respectful. I waited on my car to first have the diagnostics run and then to have the repairs done. The waiting area is very nice and quiet. I was able to get my work done sitting at at a bar table with free WiFi. They even provide free coffee and water! The bathrooms are immaculate and very private. The time waiting was well spent and my car was repaired within hours. They then washed and cleaned my car for me too. I left very satisfied with the overall experience. My 2008 CTS is running smoothly again and looking great! read more

UPDATE: I originally left my car at Moore on Wednesday, 7/19, was told it was ready for pick-up on Friday, 7/21. The quality of the repairs were poor and unacceptable so they agreed to fix them. A week later, on Friday, 7/28, the car was finally ready again. I guess I'm a little confused on this time-line and why the repairs took so long; however, I am not in the auto body business so I won't argue this. When I got to Moore, the Service Manager, Andrew, was there to greet me. He walked me around my car and explained the repairs. It all looked good (they also washed the car) and I thanked Andrew for his time. He was very friendly and provided good customer service. When I got home, I did a more detailed examination. I noticed some paint missing from the inside of the lift gate next to where the gate was repaired. I contacted Andrew by email and he responded quickly. He explained the missing paint was not a result of the repairs, but agreed to fix it anyway. I know the paint was not missing before I took my car in, I did a very detailed inspection after I was rear-ended, so I don't know what happened. I am debating whether to take my car back here or go somewhere else to get this detail fixed. read more

I brought my Cadillac Escalade in because the air conditioning was not working on the driver side. I have a GWC warranty and they told me to take it to another car repair shop. After a day of having my vehicle in their shop, they could not diagnose the problem and told me to take it to a dealership. Moore took me in right away. I also needed my transfer case fluid changed and a couple of door handles had come loose. Moore fixed my air conditioning, door handles and performed the service needed the next day. We are now ready to go on vacation without any worries. Everyone from the mechanic to the service manager was extremely helpful. I could have saved myself some time by taking my vehicle to Moore in the first place. read more

These generic replies are a complete hoax to appear attentive on a public forum. I contacted Mr. Saenz two days ago. He assured me he would call me back by close of business yesterday. That didn't happen. I called another manager there two days before this call, and got the same story about a return call by close of business the next day. That also didn't happen. This dealership is miserable to work with. Its management really doesn't care that its employees are grossly negligent in professional responsibilities and the resulting impact on customers. I can not stress enough, do NOT use Moore Cadillac. It has done absolutely nothing to correct its employee's professional negligence and my credit has unfairly suffered as a result. read more

My wife was rear-ended recently in a new Toyota Four Runner. After spending several hours/days reviewing my repair options, I settled on Moore Cadillac Collision Center. They are a Geico Preferred/Express Body Shop, so it seemed to also make sense from a convenience standpoint. I clearly explained upfront, the level of detail, service and concern I had regarding my high expectations, and overall quality of repair. I was assured on multiple occasions that they offer nothing but the best! I originally dropped my car off on May 8th for a repair that was estimated to only take 5 days. They accepted my Geico insurance check the week earlier (April 30th), as they needed to advance order a new bumper and sensor. The scope of work consisted of removing a minor dent in the lift gate, and replacing the rear bumper. I had asked they "attempt" a paintless dent repair on the lift gate first, however if the dent was not entirely removed then I was ok with painting as necessary to make the vehicle correct. I was notified on May 19th, that the vehicle was finally ready. They said that the delay was due to a "backorder of parts", which I found suspect considering they were supposed to order the parts in advance of scheduling my repairs (April 30th). Either way, I was eager to get my new vehicle back. When I arrived at the dealership, I was asked to sign paperwork then handed my keys and told to have a nice day. No one took the time to walk me around the repair, or even discuss what was completed. When I got to my car I quickly noticed several "paint runs" in the bumper. As I studied the work closer, I could also see that the dent in the lift gate was never fully repaired and was noticeable. I showed my concerns to the manager, who agreed the repairs were not of their acceptable level of standards. I was pleased by his willingness to make the necessary corrections. In their generic weekly e-mails regarding my vehicle status, they indicated that my car was going through their "quality control" dept. prior to pickup. While this sounds nice, clearly my vehicle was never passed through any quality dept., as they would have easily found the runs in the paint. Or, maybe this type of work is generally acceptable to the general public? I'll admit that I'm a detailed and very through person however I explained my expectations upfront at which point they could have elected not to work on my vehicle. This vehicle was only 3-months old and had 2k miles on it (essentially brand new!). The car was finally ready for pickup on May 27th, a whooping (26 days), after it was originally dropped off. I was again, never walked around the vehicle or advised what actual work went into the final repair. The prior "runs in the paint", and final dent repair was largely completed to my satisfaction, however I was largely disappointed with the following: 1. Time required to complete the repair and vetting of part availability before taking vehicle. 2. Quality of "initial" repair. - Seems there is/was no quality control overview. 3. Vehicle was never washed or detailed upon pick-up! 4. Inside of my car was left "extremely" dusty. 5. Broken Plastic clips were left to rattle in the lift gate as it now opens and closes. 6. Excessive rubbing compound was left all over on the inside of the lift gate. 6. Overspray on all the windows and entire vehicle, which has yet to be corrected. I'm currently researching the best methods of removal. How hard would it have been to install plastic and tape off the vehicle such as to avoid this mistake? I originally though it was some dust, or pollen on the windshield however it would not come off after washing. Its the worst in the sun glare. Seems like I'll need to use a razor blade on all the glass and then maybe a clay bar on the other paint to "try" and get this stuff off. I wish I would have chosen another shop, but you live and learn. This one did not live up to my expectations, which I feel were fair and reasonable. read more
