BUYER BEWARE. .. I Custom ordered a new Escalade V 7 months ago from Moore Cadillac, and the dealership and I agreed to a price of MSRP. After doing my due diligence locally I seeked out this dealership as they were the only ones advertising that they would not be charging a premium on top of MSRP. I am from New Jersey. They are located in Virginia. I was asked for a $5000 deposit. I did so, when it was time to take delivery of the vehicle 7 months later I was told by the dealership and finance manager that I would not have a choice to finance the vehicle nor was I allowed to pay cash for the vehicle. Instead, I was only FORCEFULLY told to lease the vehicle with a markup of 100 points onto their money factor added to the MSRP at the end of the day. For context this equated to a premium of about $500-600 more per month on the lease. If I I decided to purchase the vehicle at the end of the lease after all taxes and fees I would of over paid by $50,000 to own this vehicle the way the dealership forces me to purchase. (Lease to buy) Both the finance manager and sales director (Mike Dwyer) told me its a standard practice they do to all customers that lease a vehicle from them, they maximize profits and raise the money factor on every deal. The customer doesn't even know what's going on. The customer wouldn't see it on the contract. Its hidden on a back screen only the dealership can see. No matter if its a $40,000 vehicle or $150,000 vehicle. ALL CUSTOMERS BEWARE OF THESE GAMES. The finance manager stated this was a standard practice of the dealership, and that if I could afford this truck then I could afford to pay the markup. The finance manager spoke to me in a most condescending tone and told me "this is what you are going to do, take it or leave it." I was incredibly upset and asked for a few days to process this as this was in no way shape or form what was discussed when I left the deposit back in July 2022. In the interim of processing this egregious and shady sales tactic I had a death in my family, which I mentioned when the Sales Director (Mike Dwyer) called me to try and strong arm me into either filling out a credit application or they will take the vehicle away from me. His cold and callous response was "We will release the vehicle to another client and part as friends if you don't complete the paperwork." The crookedness and heartless business practices of this dealership left me with no choice but to not accept their deceitful business practices. They never intended to sell me this vehicle at MSRP as agreed, instead they thought I was a desperate fool willing to go along with their strong arm business practices to take a vehicle with an insane markup. I had to fight to receive my deposit back from the sales director who dodged my calls, text messages and emails. I did end up receiving it finally but I can not believe this is the way this dealership chooses to do business. After speaking with the general manager ( David Sanez) he even told me I could of purchased locally for $20,000 over msrp and saved 5 months of waiting with getting a lower interest rate, and that deal would of made more sense then the deal I would be getting from them. He also stated that the owner of the dealership was the person who set the structure and no one will over turn or alter the structure for this specific vehicle. Who does that. The original sales women( Jean Benedict) sounded very sweat as well while placing the order but quickly changed and couldn't handle running numbers clearly, and quickly started to avoid all my calls/ emails. This is a exclusive vehicle Cadillac is not mass producing and was a dream of mine to own. This is a collector vehicle for the future. They crushed my dream and wasted a lot of my time. I've been driving Escalades for years and was never treated or lied to this way from any local dealership. Everyone locally was upfront on there markups. The sales team at Moore were the most professional, courteous and honest team I have ever encountered. My purchase was smooth and painless. I negotiated my deal with Darin, Sales Manager by phone and text...Alexis, my salesperson was fantastic. The deal he made over the phone was honored without a hitch. So after someone rear-ended me into the CFO of Five Guys, I came here to the Geico insurance repair shop in the back building. The appointment itself was set up by the insurance companies. Staff in the front building were of varying helpfulness on the phone and in person; there's one Enterprise rep dedicated to the Geico shop, and a separate one for the manufacturer's auto shop attached to the main showroom. I was handed off multiple times in both mediums because of a lack of clear information by all parties. Shop guy was gruff but effective, going over all the inspection points with me beforehand (and repairs at both ends were done fine, though I had to get the loosened gas pedal inspected after pickup). I specifically requested a compact rental and they were happy to fulfill my request with a Chevy Cobalt. Geico rep was thorough about paperwork and walked me through the rental the way U-Haul strolls their vans, but later on the floor liner was left forgotten in my car. I wouldn't have been happy with the level of security where my car was kept for pickup had it been anywhere else but the industrial isolation nested in the NoVA 'burbs. read more

When one is purchasing a vehicle with over 100k MSRP you expect a premium sales experience to go along with the premium vehicle you are getting. Well, Moore did not provide that. They have a nice building and a welcoming appearance, but is is a distraction. I contacted the dealership and notified them of the vehicle I wanted to purchase. I mentioned I was interested in that one due to the end of the year incentives and where my price point was. On my way to the dealership the salesman called me to let me know his "Porter" was taking my vehicle around back to have it detailed since it had been sitting and was a little dusty. Less than 10 minutes alter my girlfriend calls me from the dealership and tells me we have to buy the most expensive one because they have sold the one we were there to buy. (10 minutes is pretty fast). So when I get there they show us the car they want to sell us. Not the one we were there t buy. and quote a silly price. It is listed for $90k and some change on THEIR WEB SITE! Then after 40 minutes of the manager "Working up some numbers" They low ball us by at least 4k on the trade-in and quote is the list price telling us we got all the end of year incentives (Without listing the incentives of course). When I pointed out the very obvious bait and switch they made a few lame excuses a 20 year old buying their first car could see right through. I quietly placed my hand on my girlfriends shoulder and told her I think our business there is completed. At this point, I would not buy a used lawn mower from Moore Cadillac. We are going home for Thanksgiving. I am pretty sure my home town dealership will treat me better than that. If you are looking for a Cadillac, my advice is to look elsewhere. My wife and I purchased, and in less than 24 hours, returned a 2017 Toyota Camry from Moore Cadillac because of one individual's poor customer service. The context - found car online, set appointment, went to dealership, examined/test-drove car, liked car (despite some interior cosmetic issues and lack of floor mats), and decided to buy car. We worked with Matt Jackson for most of the process. He was polite, courteous, and attentive to our needs and questions. He kept in good communication, and when negotiation our offer, listened to our request even if there wasn't much more he could do. We requested a pre-purchase inspection (PPI) to be performed on the car. Mike Dwyer, lead Sales Manager, implied it wasn't necessary given the "care Moore takes in their cars" and being a "reputable dealership". We insisted on the PII. I returned the following day (without my wife) for the PPI to be performed at a nearby Toyota dealership. The PPI revealed the back 2 tires were in bad condition and needed replaced, including one tire having a nail! We presented the PII info to Darren (used car Sales Manager), and it was received with deaf ears. Darren claimed their sales price was fair compared to other listings, that they previously discounted the car (because they wanted to move it off their lot - not to help our sale), and that they had had discounted us $280 (prior to PPI), an amount that was less than we requested given the interior condition of the car. All that aside - who would sell someone a car knowing there's a potential safety issue (nail in tire)? They refused to consider our request to either discount the car given the necessary repairs needed, or fix it themselves. Stuck having to decided if it was worth it, we proceeded with the purchase while being clear we were disappointed with their stance. In the process of completing paperwork, my wife wanted to speak with Mike Dwyer on the phone to reaffirm our concerns and consider if anything more could be done. She proceeded to share her concerns in a calm demeanor and all of a sudden Mike SHOUTS at my wife on the phone! He claims he's being attacked because we said we would comment on our poor experience (AS WE'RE NOW DOING), like that somehow gave him the right to SHOUT at us, like we're not the CUSTOMER who THEY should be going out of THEIR way to accommodate. They didn't even offer to plug the hole where the nail was until we insisted they do something to help ensure our safety. If only that was the end. I finalized the sale, left with the car, and after a night to think on it, my wife and I decided we could not in good faith keep this car. How would that experience give us faith if something quickly went wrong with car and we needed their help? My wife and I arrived the next day to return it, and once we walked in, saw Darren behind the sales desk. Darren had no issue with us returning the car. Shortly thereafter we saw Mike at the desk and told him we were returning the car. When he asked why, we told him plainly - it was because of how he treated us. He got defensive and AGAIN began to SHOUT, threatening to call the cop on us, telling us to come back in 2 days to do our return, and did everything he could to remove us (without us returning the car). But THEN he took it a step further - he came from behind the sales desk toward my wife, at which point I stepped in front of him to shield her, as he pulled out his phone to record us. We did the same, as though he had grounds to prevent us from fulfilling our right to return the car! Thankfully, Matt Jackson was finishing up with another customer and assisted us with getting our tags off the Camry and getting us to finance to return our deposit. Truthfully, while the processing for returning the car was easy, the experience was WORST then the day prior. Long story short - BUYER BEWARE!!! WE FOUND ISSUES, AND THEY DIDN'T LISTEN! WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN TO YOU? I wish Matt Jackson and Lilly from financing the best - they were the silver linings in the whole process. Otherwise, there's no words for how we were treated. I find myself writing this review because I was attempting to determine whether I should use Moore again for routine repairs or try Lindsay Cadillac or simply go rogue by returning to a reputable private repair shop. My car is a 2014 CTS Premium AWD Coupe. She's sexier to look at than I will ever be and her FlexFuel engine warms my heart and wallet. The car is a turbocharged 6 cylinder thus reasonable performance and a low gas bill are awesome. But I notice that every time I need anything b with Moore it's at least $1000, their is Service Advisor turnover such that no one knows your service history and whatever I get serviced seems to lead to something else needing repair. My car is gently used. I'm the second owner and it's barely 50k miles. I replaced the plastic front grille and it's been a reliable car. So, I'm of the mindset to go rogue and return to my repair shop in Reston that specializes in GM cars. Sorry Moore, my own plus two prior client stories give me the gut feeling that a GM specialist is a better bet unless it's a repair or recall issue that only a dealer can satisfy. read more

I have been a long time customer with Moore Cadillac Chantilly, Virginia. I rate when they're good and I rate when they're not so good. I've always given them five stars, but I cannot this time they rate only 3 stars. This time the car was not washed as was on the paperwork. I received a call saying that my driver side window switch was not working, but it was working fine when I took it into the dealership. That was an additional $800 added to my bill. They did work it out that I pay half and Moore pay half but I'm not even sure if anything was wrong with the switch they did the diagnostic when I first went in. They didn't find anything wrong with the switch. I felt the had no choice. It was raining and snowing. I wouldn't want to ride around with my window down and can't get it back up. I felt I was being held hostage. I left there almost $7000 poorer. I have shown my loyalty to Moore Cadillac since 2006 when I purchased the vehicle. I wish they show me the same loyalty. I really believe what comes around goes around. read more

Avoid this dealership at all cost. Not only is the customer service horrible, I took my Escalade there for service as it was making a noise. They wanted to charge me $10,000. I decided to pick up and think about repairs or trade in but when I went to pick it up all the lights were on, car was shaking and barely driveable. Since I did not bring it in that way, as noted in paperwork, there explanation was " Must have gotten worse while it was here, you can pay to fix". I could not believe it! Everyone I spoke to thinks they purposely messed it up so I would pay. It's unfortunate as I was going to trade in for a new car there but instead I will never do business with them and hopefully this prevents others from doing so. read more

I can not speak highly enough for the two people we worked with at Moore Cadillac. Kevin, and Woodson in F&I were both extremely pleasant, not pushy, and willing to work with us on our needs. We actually drove down to VA, from upper MD just to look at some cars an an Audi dealership a few miles away. When we test drove an SQ5 there we decided to look for comps in the area and found a beautiful white one that Moore had taken on trade back in December. I called Moore Cadillac on our way there with about 20 minutes of notice and asked if we could test drive the car. Kevin made it happen even though he had another client coming in shortly. He set us up, let us test drive it while he finished with his other person, and then we all got started on our deal. They offered us a fair value on trade, had lots of options for warranties and added value and have a great 5/30 program. Our F&I person was Woodson and he was again extremely pleasant, talked us though options, and was not aggressive or pushy even when we declines several options they offered. (All of which still had very good value I might add) He had us in and out of F&I within an hour it was great! Although we live in MD, and we're 2 hours away from this location we will 100% be recommending this location to our family, friends in the southern MD/VA area. New/Used Cadillac, or even a Used Car of another brand, Moore Cadillac of Chantilly made our buying experience easy, comfortable, and something we could feel confident in as we drove home to MD. 5/5 Stars to Kevin, Woodson, and the Facility. read more

Their Flatbed Tow-Truck almost hit me when he merged in with no room, flipping a board that was in the road hitting my driver side door. Then immediately locking up the breaks making me driving off the road with my family in the car to try and avoid him. I definitely feel that all this was done intentionally by an Evil employee. If I hit him, it would have been catastrophic for my family. Driving like that in a hard rain is dangerous and potentially deadly. I've left messages for the service manager and general manager and have received no response which I'm not surprised about if this is the type of proffesionalism they train. This time I went in for a regular service and a recall. Called in to make appt. recommended I do a tire rotation with my oil change and filter. But when I got there I was told not to yet. Don Kelly was the service advisor assigned to me. He was really nice. He told me it would take around 2-3 hours from what I remember. He even called the shuttle for my pick up later on. 2nd time I got my car washed there. It's complimentary so I guess I shouldn't complain but they do a pretty horrible job for a higher end car dealership. I had huge hand prints on my door. read more

We had sold our vehicle that we had purchased at Moore Cadillac in Chantill, VA and have tried UNSUCCESSFULLY to return the warranty we purchased. First we called the warranty service and they said we absolutely could get a refund on the remaining value of the warranty, we simply needed to contact the dealership. We have made DOZENS of calls, left numerous messages, even had someone in the finance department say yes and that they would email the form for us to fill out- never did and now they won't answer their phone. Its no secret the dealership makes money off of the purchase of extended warranties, but they have lied. read more

Called because I was interested in the Ford escape. The car is priced 23k on their site with no pre owned warranty. I tell him I am looking to see if we can bring down the price to 20k OTD. The sales person sounds like an old guy laughs and tells me that's not possible and I would need to bring cash and trade in to make that happen. He cant make thousands of dollars disappear. I ask him how often he uses the sales tactic of telling his customers how he cant help them buy a car. I tell him it's a used car and I know that he can make thousand of dollars disappear on the price tag. Obvioulsy didnt buy the car from them. Still got a used 2017 Ford escape titanium for 21k with pre own warranty from another dealership. Funny they were able to make 4k disappear and this sales person was too busy laughing and telling me "cant be done". read more

Zero stars. They charged us $175 when we took our car in for a recall. I asked Lauren to call us if there would be any additional charges. No call, they took two days when they said it would take 2.5 hours (had to go back twice), plus they charged us and blamed Lauren, saying that she should've explained the additional fee. So basically we had to pay $175 to get our car back. Terrible experience. We would drive further to go to a different dealer. read more

Our vehicle went in to have the bumper repainted. Took a week and they damaged or got overspray paint on more panels and trim than they were supposed to paint. We took it back and four weeks later they were "done". We are still finding stuff they missed. The trim that they got overspray on was covered with a vinyl film instead of cleaned or replaced. Who knows how well that will hold up. Bumper is still not aligned properly. The worst part was when we initially got the car back, the bumper (that was initially the reason for the repair) was scratched by the body shop after they painted it. The scratch was covered up with touchup paint (horribly) and it only covered 1/3 of the scratch. The touchup paint was also on the panel above which looked like a job I could've pulled off better my first time using touchup, when I was 16. Overall, a terrible experience and as it stands I would never recommend this shop. read more

I took my car to Moore Cadillac Collision to see about getting a dent fixed. It took all day for them to call me back with an estimate. They apparently found 4 or 5 things wrong with my car that I had never noticed before, and recommended I get them all taken care of, a lengthy and costly process. I'm no car expert, so while I am suspicious (given what happened next), I think it's plausible that they were telling the truth. I politely declined and said I might come back another time. The representative informed me that, when signing the papers to get the estimate, I'd agreed to let them do any repairs they recommended! I was taken aback. I pointed out that the car was safe to drive (which they admitted), and that I did not want any repairs at the current time. The representative relented and said I could pick my car up. After I got off work, a coworker was driving me to the shop when a different representative called me back and said that my car wasn't ready to get picked up, but it would be ready tomorrow. Day 2, they called me at the end of my shift to inform me that it still wasn't ready, but it would be ready tomorrow. At this point the delay had already tanked my weekend plans, so I said, screw it, do the repairs. On day 5, they texted me saying that they were almost done with the repairs, only to text me back later in the day and say my car wouldn't be ready for another 3 days. On day 8, I finally picked my car up. At worse, Moore Cadillac is intentionally misleading customers. At best, they're still doing a poor job of communicating. I am giving them two stars because at least they fixed the dent. read more

Bought an Escalade about a month ago. Nothing but problems. I've put less than 700 miles in the last month and the list of issues doesn't end and continues to go on within 50 miles of owning the vehicle, the temperature gauge wasn't moving at all. They duplicated the issue and found excessive fluctuation of the engine coolant temperature and had to replace the engine coolant thermostat housing assembly and bleed the cooling system. I also made them aware that the truck was shifting extremely hard and there was a wobble and vibration on the front wheels which they of course duplicated the issues and came back to tell me this was completely normal. They said they would flush and fill the transmission with new fluid and replace cooler line seal. Now on my most recent visit literally a month from the day of purchase I come out to my garage to a nice puddle of oil. Well brought it in AGAIN and come to find out there is an engine oil leak and of course they saw the issue and had to fix it. Now this clearly has nothing to do with their service department, Don is the most amazing human. The issue is the sales department and everyone in charge on that end. The reality of it is, they can care less about what they sell and who they sell to. All they want is a sale. It's a numbers game. The loyalty of a returning customer does NOT apply here. But then again, we live in one of the richest counties in the country here... what do they care if I don't ever buy another vehicle from them? There's plenty of others out there willing to drop the dough and get treated poorly and dump money into a Cadillac. ***UPDATE 5/19/2020 - Apparently the general manager hasn't been filled in. I was just in AGAIN yesterday on 5/19/2020 to get shuttering and jerking looked at again after being told it would get better after some adaptive driving. Upon leaving service they told me they didn't know if that was even looked at. NO THE ISSUES HAVEN'T BEEN ADDRESSED. I was never made aware there was a 5 day return. As a matter of fact, I was told the dealership would fix these issues instead and we would get to a resolution. So I was in yesterday, again another issue detected, duplicated and charged for... I've barely been on the road due to covid. How does a vehicle that was purchased a month ago have this many issues? They had to replace the steering shaft upper bearing inner race, seat and spring. Come on.... how are these vehicles not looked at before they are sold. Again this is like my 10the car in 8 years... I'm not new to this game! read more

Ray, the "lot porter" is the most kind and helpful employee there. He actually went out of his way to assist me. I drove all the way from DC because it was the only Cadillac dealership that had my item in stock. I called several Cad dealerships in my area, one of which advised me that they would gladly order the items for arrival "before Friday." The items were ordered Monday. Today is Friday and I called three times, never receiving a return call to verify the items had arrived. So, that's when I called around and spoke to Daniel at Moore Cadillac who said the items are in stock. I verified the VIN with him and what I wanted, and was happily driving the 49 minutes to retrieve my items. When I arrived, no one wanted to assist me with installation except Ray, and thank god he did, because EVERY SINGLE one of the items was incorrectly labeled in its individual box!! I would have gone home with the wrong items if Ray hadn't opened all the boxes! I was understandably very disappointed and spoke to Jim, the parts manager. He proceeded to downplay their fault in the error, and bizarrely treated me as if it was my fault. Fortunately, as a woman, I'm on the high end of assertive and underestimating me is always a mistake. After a few words were spoken, Jim said he'd "mail" the correct items to my residence once he receives them from the manufacturer, at their expense. I told him I (understandably) don't trust him and requested that he sign the invoice and state everything he just told me about "mailing" the CORRECT items. Now, all I can do is PRAY that I receive what I ordered in a timely manner!! What a clown show. SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE RAY A MANAGER SO HE CAN SHOW THEM HOW TO BE MORE EFFECTIVE, AND TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT!! read more

Went here because Geico recommended them as a streamlined process facility. Had a bad experience here. repairs took *much* longer than expected and quoted.. Communication not good. Had to call in many times to get fed misinformation. They would say my car would be ready for pickup that night or the next morning. Only to call back the next afternoon to hear they were waiting on a part.... or the car was waiting on paint the next time. I literally had no idea when I was ACTUALLY going to get my car back, because on the phone it just seemed like they would tell you what you wanted to hear; "almost ready!"... Got stuck with huge car rental bill due to the length of the repair. I would go elsewhere in the future. read more

Full Disclaimer: I'm writing this review 6 months after the purchase of my vehicle, not unintentionally. After reading this, you might ask why did go through and actually buy the vehicle? Well, it was at a great price and I should also mention that the make of the vehicle is not Cadillac. Let me first mention the positives on the experience: 1. Antonio (salesperson) has a great personality. Now the negatives. 1. I had scheduled to come in for the purchase of the vehicle that I had already test driven the day before. Despite this, I waited 3 hours before I was tended to by the finance person. I understand that sometimes places are busy with foot traffic but there was literally one other customer in this dealership at the time and this was on a weekday, Monday to be specific. 2. Antonio and I had agreed on a price different from that which the Finance Director lady told me. Because there was an agreement already in place, they honored it. Needless to say, it seemed a bit sketch that the final number was not communicated with the decision makers. 3. I addressed this to the supervisor (I forget his name) and he didn't understand my concern that a customer should not have to wait 3 hours after their appointment - this is not an Emergency Room appointment, and even if it was, 3 hours would not be okay! But all he could muster up was the fact that they were short staffed but someone will be with me shortly. 4. The gas tank was basically empty at the time of purchase (less than half of a quarter tank). I told Antonio about this. He said to send him a picture of the receipt upon fill up (I did), and that he'll send a check to my address. The car (SUV) at the time I believe I filled it up for ~$68. After a few reminders, I decided to let it be. What's $68 compared to a car loan? But don't tell me you're going to deliver something and then you don't. I'd rather you tell me, "Sir, you just bought a new car and there's no gas in it and we won't fill it up for you" - than being dishonest and deflective. 5. I was told by the Finance Director (Heather Reese, who is no longer with Moore Cadillac Chantilly btw) that they'll refinance the loan after 6 months (internally). It is 6 months now, I just came back from the dealership. They informed me that I cannot refinance as that's not something that they do. And the only reason I went back was because I already had a relationship with the financial institution that they work with so perhaps it would be to my benefit and subsequently General Motors as well, again per Heather Reese's direction. Antonio and some other gentlemen were there today, all of whom explained to me literally like a child that refinancing is done through a banking institution and the steps to take to do so. I already knew this obviously but I thought I'd give them a chance to redeem themselves. Not a moment during these interactions today or 6 months ago did someone even apologize as a courtesy for screwing up. Truthfully, I'm not even looking for an apology as it won't mean much coming from those folks at Moore Cadillac Chantilly. But at least it says something about someone's character that they acknowledge your concerns. So here I am, letting everyone know about these folks and how narrow-minded and deceptive their practices are. I plead and urge you NOT to do business with this dealership unless of course you have less patience than I do or have a burning desire to be highly disappointed. read more

If you patronize Moore Cadillac in Chantilly - please stop! 2 weeks ago bought a replacement gear box (over $400) for my truck. Realized I did not need it today and took it back to Moore in BRAND NEW UNUSED condition - Company refused to take it back saying "how do we know it's ours?". Showed them my CC statement that CLEARLY shows the transaction w/the merchant as Moore Cadillac Chantilly va , and they STILL refused to take it back. This is the same firm in 2018 that charged my cc for a replacement remote control for my car and never provided one. When asked, we were told - show us the receipt. The Manager you paid is no longer w/us. HOW SHODDY!! I plan to announce this as often as I can to show how untrustworthy this dealership is. read more

I have been "shopping" at Moore Cadillac since I bought my first Cadillac in 1998. My initial experiences with them were for service work only, as my first two Cadillacs were bought elsewhere. They used to have a beautiful dealership in Tysons, so I started there, then grudgingly migrated to the Chantilly site. I can honestly say my overall experiences have been good. Some of the service managers were hit or miss, but Don Kelly has always been good. I actually bought from them for the first time in 2006. The vehicle was delivered in pristine condition (unlike my purchase 5 years before when I bought from Lindsay) and the negotiation process was great. I kept that vehicle for 10 years, then traded it out on a competitor's vehicle. Well, I'm back at Moore. I explained to Jean Benedict, my long-time salesperson, what my needs were, particularly what my pocketbook could take. She worked tirelessly with the sales manager to meet my affordability needs, and did all of this on her day off. I didn't know it was her day off because all of our interactions were by phone and email. Upon pickup of the vehicle, it was detailed and in pristine condition. Signing the paperwork was exactly as it should have been, though there was one error realized when I got to financing. No problem, the finance manager addressed the issue to continue to make the numbers work and added an extra incentive because of the issue. I am reading the bad reviews and unless something has happened in the past 3 years since the last time I owned a Cadillac, I truly am perplexed. Moore Cadillac has always done a great job of providing top notch service and while I will admit the resolution doesn't always go my way, they work diligently to keep their customers happy. I've had situations where they convinced GM during the financial meltdown to replace defective seats and headlamp assemblies. With this last purchase, I was actually in contact with 3 separate dealerships and Moore was the one that went out of their way to get me into the vehicle I wanted. In chatting with the sales manager, he was quite pleased he was able to get the deal just right, so he could win back a long-term Cadillac fan. It was a win-win for both of us, and I look forward to my first service call. I can't speak for the work they do outside of the Cadillac brand, but I can honestly say I am surprised by the negative reviews. read more

Update... After Joe Moore himself posted a response to my review, I went out of MY way and reached out to Mr. Moore personally and sent multiple emails to him directly. He never replied. I sent another email through their website and finally a return phone call was made to me by their "new car sales manager" who had an aggressive attitude the minute our conversation began. He asserted that they didn't take too kindly to customers who leave "bad reviews on Yelp" but were willing to work a deal with me if I removed the negative review. Interesting because they have since lowered the car $700.00 and still cannot sell it. What is even more interesting is that if they would have given me the $9,000 for my trade as originally agreed to, they would have sold the car and be $200 in the positive. Not very smart Mr. Moore, not very smart. I wouldn't purchase a car from Moore Cadillac for a dollar. read more

I dropped my wife's vehicle off at Moore Cadillac early Friday morning after hearing what we both though was a serious problem with the steering. When I got there, three service folks looked at me and kept walking, while another focused on another customer. After 20 minutes, "David" asked if he could help. I told him about the problem with the steering, asked for an oil/air filter change. I stressed that I though there was a safety issue with the car. He recommended a 27 point vehicle inspection to take care of all of the problems. I ok'd it and went on to work. I received a call from David around 1:30 pm. He told me that the car sat all day because the shop was "busy" and wanted to know if he could keep it. Slightly pissed, I agreed saying that my wife needed her car by 12 noon Sat. He told me that it would be ready and he would call me the next day. Saturday morning passed - no call. My wife and I drove over at 12 noon and a startled David rushed out of his office to tell me that his techs where on a road test with the vehicle and asked me to come back in an hour. Of course, an hour later our vehicle received a clean bill of health. The techs did not see anything out of the ordinary. We paid and left. Not even three minutes into the ride home I experienced the same exact problem that the "techs could not repeat." I parked the car for the day and the following Monday morning I dropped it off at Pohanka Chevy - not even 6 miles down the street. About 30 minutes from dropping it off, "Jason" called me to say that the steering rack (not the pump, the rack) was bad on the vehicle and the mechanic has no idea how anyone could miss it. I brough this up with Audra - the customer service manager at Moore. She told me that she was going to do some research and get back to me. She stressed that she would get right back to me. And yes, you guessed it - she didn't get back to me. Needless to say - I'm pissed. This is the 4th time Moore mis-diagnosed one of my cars. I'm not saying Pohanka Chevy is perfect, but they have corrected every problem I've had with my vehicles - the first time and they seem to try to push the customer service side of things. Seriously consider if you want to do business at Moore and read all of the other complaints on internet. If I had known about them, I would have never trusted them to even wash my vehicles. read more

On Thursday, July 7, my husband came home to find fluid (antifreeze) under my 2011 Cadillac. Moore Cadillac of Chantilly is the closest Cadillac dealer to our home in Leesburg and is listed as open till 8 pm on Thursdays. I called at 5:09, 5:11, and 5:29 and someone answered but told me to leave a message on a man who works in service. I asked that the first man please take my number and schedule an appointment and explained the situation, but he said just to leave a message. I explained I was really concerned because we had to travel to PA for our daughter's wedding and were planning on leaving on Saturday. I never got called back and wasn't getting answers calling in. We had to put off our trip a few days and had a local service center look at our Cadillac. He assured us it was fine, just extra drippage from AC and high local temperatures. On our trip, a light came on and as soon as we got to our daughter's in PA, we called our local Cadillac dealer, who immediately took us in. With the wedding that Saturday, we were happy. They fixed the car in a day--not only a bad water pump, but a broken half axle in the front, which could easily have snapped on the return trip (turnpike and higher speeds), and I could have been hurt, or worse! I wish I could count on my local dealer the way I can count on the dealer in Monroeville, PA! I have had good work in the past, but this was dangerous and the scheduling for problems needs a better way to happen. They didn't miss this because they were never there for me to check it. read more

I walked in to looked at some used Cadillac's. The person at the front desk was super friendly and offered my mom and I a beverage and got a sales person to us promptly. Our salesman was super helpful and printed out the carfax and car details of a car we were interested in. He gave us his business card with his personal number and made sure that we were taken care of. read more

I would NOT recommend bringing your car here to have it serviced. I have never felt more disrespected and made to feel more comfortable. I honestly don't know where to start. On more than one occasion I was given a quote to do the job and then when I received the bill it was way over the quote I was given. The first time I was given a quote for $1,500 and the final was over $3,000. When I asked them to explain the price difference ....I was not given a explanation other than that they would not release my car to me unless I paid it. The only reason I took the loss and paid it was because one I need my car but also I was told by the manager (I believe his name is Michael) that I would receive free service on the life of this work on the parts that they were replacing if I ever needed it. Knowing that this model normally has issues with these parts I took the deal. I left a complaint after this happened and received a phone call from the dealership. After "the dealership" reviewed my email correspondence with the gentleman helping me and who provided me with the quote; I was told they wanted me to come in so they could make it right (they called me).... when I arrived I was told that the person that called me was not there, they would not reimburse me, and that this was my issue and my fault. I could have stayed home for that I had already told myself that I would never go back here but I noticed a leak on the parts that they replaced. During the scheduling of the appointment before I arrived I was told 3 times that I was eligible to receive a rental car and I would have one while they checked the leak so of course I planned my work day around this.....and of course when I got there I was told that they were not going to give me one...."yeah man, YOU'RE not getting a car"....(he literally never left his office or picked up the phone to ask anyone to get the rental car that was on my service confirmation email I was sent....I showed him the confirmation...clearly didn't care) I was also told that I would not receive the free service to fix the leak....which was just a drain plug....(part of the life time service I was promised) ..... since my car was there and I would have to pay the diagnostic fee anyway ... I had them replace a few spark plugs and a coil. I had someone pick me up so I could continue to make my appointments. Once again; was quoted one thing and arrived to another price when I picked up my car. I was made to feel like this was my fault and my issue.....yet again. The final quote was adjusted this time but only after I told them that there was no way I was paying "anything" over what I was quoted......the reason the quote was over the original amount....because they added services and parts that they never did.... i was told they installed a new drain plug which would have cost me an extra $200 ...When I picked up the car and paid (the Original amount) I was told then that they actually needed to order the drain plug and they didn't know when it was going to come in and they were NOT going to call me to let me know when it arrives at the service department.....so I would have ended up paying for (plus the man hours) something they didn't do and even have in stock according to the gentleman that handed me my final invoice read more

I purchased a Cadillac CTS V in lieu of an SL55 AMG simply based on my experiences with HBL MB. The car is amazing! I've been happy with these folks at Moore so far and I have a history with disliking service departments it's an easy thing for any dealership to screw up and have a hatred towards. Cadillac's are just like space shuttles with a bazillion sensors, I have had a oil overheat sensor that they are still trying to get sorted out. My car is out of warranty and they thought they fixed it last time but didn't and hopefully they'll replace it again this time for free/gratis. The service advisors are great, you actually get coupons in the mail that are good values. The location kinda sucks this is where I begin to say you are not Northern Virginia when downtown Manassas is 5 miles away but it is kinda sorta close to the airport the only reason I took away a star. My only real bitch is with the rental car company on site (enterprise) who I feel takes advantage of the situation of you being minimally 20 miles away from any real employable location I.e. Reson/Tysons.... If you return a car 24hrs and 1 minute to Enterprise on site here you get charged 2 full days a real dick move in my opinion. However that's out of the control of Moore Cadillac. read more

My experience at Moore didn't start out as a 5 star review. We got off to a bit of a rocky start. But, after expressing my frustrations to the sales manager, het got me hooked up with Randy who was a dream to work with. I've found that follow up and thoroughness are difficult to find in the car buying process, and Randy impressed on both those fronts. Aside from being awesome, he found me an incredible car that I am LOVING. I couldn't be happier with the end result. And I would recommend anyone heading to Moore ask for Randy. read more
