Really great experience! The garlic shrimp, everything salmon and steak were 5/5. We also did order the Greek meatballs which were decent but probably wouldn't order again - there were so many good things on the menu! The pistachio martinis were really good and the server was so sweet and attentive. The inside is a really cool vibe as well with a lot of natural light. Can't wait to fo

This place is really cute and I've been here a few times over the years, but my recent visit here was just okay. Our waiter was nice and the ambience is as nice as I remember, but all the food just felt like it missed the mark a bit. Our NY strip was good but not memorable, the potatoes were a bit chunky and we also got a lemon pasta that was not my favorite. Beware the kid's portions are also huge.

Restaurant with fantastic ambiance in Asbury Park. Main entre and dessert was great, though their vegetable minestrone soup wasn't the best. If you happen to catch them on restaurant week, I'd definitely recommend that since you get a great deal.

Amazing happy hour! And Dina the bartender was the best! We tried the garlic knot sliders, one of the flatbread pizzas and the crab cakes- all very delicious, will definitely be back.

I came for restaurant week and it was a prixe fixe menu. It was a really good deal, I had an app, entree and dessert. The service was great and my meal was delicious. It's a bit fancy inside. The drinks were very good too!

Live entertainment in the downstairs lounge was GREAT!! Ambiance was amazing... sophisticated but not stuffy. Staff was knowledgeable, extremely attentive & so friendly. Even the managers kept checking on our table & making sure our drinks were full. Espresso martini was so frothy & delicious. The food did not disappoint either!! Eggplant fries, lentil soup, calamari and mezze platter were delicious... and then there were the entrees & desserts!! We had leftovers for days!! Great spot for any occasion. Can't wait to go back!!

Ran across this fun spot while searching for oyster happy hour deals, even had a piano player as well. Service was a little slow, but it was a fun spot with great happy hour menu.

Is this a place I could bring teens?

    If well behaved

Is it a good seafood place?

They don't specialize in seafood but there are plenty of fish choices on the menu. Last time I got the Cod that was on the special and it was dry. My hubby usually gets the seafood combo and it's delicious!

Do they seat large groups without reservations?

They take reservations of 12 or more. They can do a party if 20 in a room on 3rd floor

You're only review, you've only been once and decide to go onto a public forum and give 1 star. Anyway off my soapbox. Pascal and Sabine not only has some of the best cocktails and bartenders in Asbury but possibly NJ. I have been countless times with my wife, my kids, large groups you name it. My favorite way to experience Pascal is to sit at the bar get a couple cocktails (The Jackal is a staple), the Madame Smith Burger (my wife gets the Mr Smith) the fries are amazing, and maybe the escargot and just enjoy. It's up there with some of the most perfect nights out in Asbury you can have. Hope this 5 star review balance out a ridiculous 1 star review. - YH

Lovely hostess, great round bar seating with huge windows for people watching, and a genuinely charming and attentive bartender (Mike). We started with oysters from Newfoundland and cheese off the happy hour menu -- both great. My mom loved her lavender French 75 (a drink special), and my white wine was perfect (the name escapes me at the moment). The garlic soup deserves awards. I first had it two summers ago and still think about it -- I made my mom try it and she immediately understood my rave reviews. For entrées, her burger was cooked perfectly medium-rare, and my fish & chips absolutely hit the spot. Both came with generous portions of house-made fries and an unexpectedly addictive house honey-mustard. We had enough fries for leftovers, and I even asked for extra mustard to take home. Food, service, atmosphere, lighting, noise level -- all dialed in. A 10/10 experience!

Didnt partake in $25 valet parking but was sorely tempted. The indoors are beautiful, white walls and pretty decorations, large bar. Service: Terrific. 5 stars. Julia was awesome, helpful and honest. I did tell her I cant eat spicy stuff although I enjoy lightly spicy stuff. Drinks: I tried the Lebanese red wine. Very nice medium body. My husband tried the old fashioned which he said were good. Starters: we had the salatim which is 6 different dips and two piping hot large pita breads. I liked 4 out of 6 dips while hubby liked 5 out of 6. We both loved the hummus, salad, lima bean, and eggplant ones. This kind of eating is always fun. The discovery! STAR: The star is the halloumi. Fried cheese with lightly sweet crispy crust honeyed and topped with a light refreshing salad and pomenegrate seeds. Our server charmingly apologized she forgot to warn me about the codfish chili being potentially hot but I ended up trying and enjoying it, although I felt the fish was slightly overcooked. Not rubbery but a little too crusty and not flaky enough. I did not complain though because her dessert recommendation for malabi, a custard with oat crisps, was lovely. Nice to share with hubby and cap off the night. Temperature control: we sat somewhat near the front so were hit with cold air anytime someone entered. My husband is recovering from back surgery so walking was difficult for him. I appreciate he planned such a nice outing for us despite his walking challenges. All in all, we would return and explore cocktails and other menu items.

Delicious cocktails on their menu and plenty to choose from. Food was flavorful, warm, and fantastic. We plan on going here anytime we have a show now. Note: food ended at 6pm on a Friday. It says on one of their signs "late night bites" but they might've done away with that. I got the tomato & mozzarella panini ($14.) The bread has rosemary baked into it. It was easy to eat - not "too large" or hard bread that roughs up the roof of your mouth. It's the perfect insides to bread ratio. My bf got the chicken salad panini ($15) and THAT was amazing. The berries give it a sweet flavor. He was scooping what fell out of the sandwich with the chips it was that good. I recommend the Honey Boo cocktail if you like sweet flavors and bourbon. The Spicy Bee (I think that was it) was the perfect balance of pepper and orange. There's black & white movies playing on a screen in the corner which had me fascinated and I wish I knew what movie it was. The lighting is low and the decor makes you feel you might be sitting in a speakeasy. 2 drinks and 2 paninis came out to ~ $80 with tip, so it is pricey but it's worth it.

We got the tostadas which was an interesting plate of a couple different things, the nachos which I loved, the ceviche which was ok-not your typical ceviche and bit too spicy for me, the salad which I really liked, camerones which the table liked, the pork tacos which I heard were very spicy, the chicken tacos which were good and the steak which was hands down my favorite and the yuca mash was so yummy and different. For the steak, you can only get it medium rare or well done which I is 2 complete ends of the spectrum. We are medium people, so we ended up getting a medium rare. Taka has a vast menu with many options from appetizers to specialty sushi options. They provide alcoholic and non alcoholic mocktails for those of us not interested in consuming liquor.....the mocktails are fantastic. The only thing that made me rate 4 instead of 5 stars was the staff needs a bit of work on serving. We ordered an appetizer and were also given two additional small plates since we were sharing this item. When we were done with the appetizer our specialty sushi plates were bought out and the same server left the three empty plates from the appetizers on the table instead of removing them. Dessert was absolutely decadent and moist (I omitted the whipped cream since I don't like it) but the shortcake was perfect without it.
