I wouldn't recommend any other place in or out of turlock. I usually see Dr. Mann ,for the last 6+ years but I moved and after trouble with Santon Optical, I called here to get squeezed in for an appt for contacts. I'm getting married in just a week and they have been so helpful and wonderful through all the stress with everything else. First time having Dr. Irish and he is so great! I love doctors that I can talk to and ask questions even if I'm just being curious. The staff has never been rude, they're so helpful and concerned. They really went the extra mile for me and I'm just so pleased with their service I had to share. read more

Dr. Brewer was my doctor and when he retired I considered making a switch, but I had an appointment and went. Dr. Irish was assigned as my new doctor and he was awesome! I couldn't have been happier; he explains everything so well- even to my children- in a way that they can understand. Recently, I had some eye irritation (ended up having a bacterial infection) and I called hoping for a same-day appointment. Dr. Irish was not in the office that day, but Dr. Mann worked me into her schedule. Again, having been a patient of Brewer and now Irish, I was sure that I wouldn't be wowed by another eye doctor, but I needed care, so took the appointment. Dr. Mann was wonderful! She is knowledgeable, personable, and has an English accent, which is easy to decipher and fun to hear in Turlock. :) I highly recommend this office. read more

Dr. Abram was very knowledgeable and courteous, and thorough, explaining all my options, and patiently answering all of my questions--even having solutions to problems that have bothered me for years, and to which no one has ever been able to properly address. This place is awesome ! But I'm giving it a one star because of the receptionist . She's extremely rude and has always been that way with me . Dr. Irish is an amazing doctor, it's sad because I really love this place but I'm tired of the way I'm being treated by the receptionists . She really loves to point fingers so beware . I felt leaving a 5 star review was necessary after all of my visits. They got me into a same day appointment. The front desk is so nice, welcoming, and hospitable. The optometrist was very kind. And I especially want to thank Diana for going above and beyond, including ordering a pair of glasses that wasn't even in stock and looking through all the glasses in her own time that she felt would work for me, I felt I had been difficult as I could not find ones that looked good on me, she picked out a few she thought would look good on me, ones I hadn't even considered and I ended up loving them and going with that exact pair. I have been coming to this office for years and have always had great experiences. I usually see Dr. Irish (he's awesome) but I made a last minute appointment and was able to get in with Dr. Mann. She was so personable and made sure all my questions were answered. The staff is always super friendly from checking in to checking out. Today Amanda assisted me with choosing my new pair of frames and she was so patient with my indesicivness, but also very helpful and gave me opinions. Love it here. Everyone here is helpful, Dr Irish Is excellent with adults and children, and they have great knowledge of current products for everyone. My son requires his first pair of glasses and they are ordering some to try on him and were very responsive to my concerns. They are very aware of insurance coverages and work with you on options. Just called for appointment. This place ran me off. Popular place I guess. Clearly they were very concerned about my ability to pay, then what my vision care needs were. Not once did they ask why I was needing to be seen for. Funny, we have two overlapping eye insurances and the ability to pay cash. I saw Dr Irish today for my annual eye exam for the first time. He was very friendly. He answered all my question very thoroughly and did not rush. The office staff is rude. I called today 11/5/13 12:23 pm to schedule an exam with Dr. Irish. I was asked If I had insurance which I don't, I have CASH!. I asked for a future appointment and the very unprofessional office staff said she didn't have anything for today which I was okay with and said I wasn't looking to get in today.
