I REALLY wanted to give them 3 stars but I just couldn't do it to you my fellow Yelpers. My experience was lack luster (literally) but I assumed that it was due to my insistence on not paying $13 for a car wash and going with the less expensive Frankenstein wash for the low low price of $9. Disappointment all around! Last night I decided to have another go with Ol' Monster Wash but ante up a bit, dream a little bigger and go for the MONSTER Wash. I fed the machine my $13 and I didn't feel like my sweet ride was significantly cleaner then my previous experience. HOWEVER, I did enjoy the multi colored foam oh so very much and how it made my car smell like candy. Confession: I have a mildly unhealthy obsession with all things "monster" and in all fairness will probably be returning for future washes even though I think they are lacking in their washing skills. read more

The price of the car wash is about average for the bottom two washes. The top two washes are a bit pricey however you do not need the pricey wash all the time. I do the top wash once a month and one of the bottom two in between. I always get a great wash here! I'm one of those people who washes their car every weekend! I usually do not have to deal with the staff but when I have they were nice. After your car is washed towels are provided for you to dry it off (after the air dry). I am reading so reviews from people stating their car wasn't clean enough after a wash. If you only wash your car once every three months, especially living here in Anchorage, your not going to have an ultra clean cars. I also get a great feeling after cleaning my car and Monster Wash is my go to place! read more

I paid the premium for the Laser Light Show "Monster Experience" as a treat for my 6yr old son on 12/31/09. No lights, no music (only a Monster Wash commercial over and over again), NO experience. Car wash was OK, but I PAID for the "experience" and there was NONE. Very dissapointing. My son was sad about it too. I tried to email Monster Wash at the address on their website and it bounced as "undeliverable." Tried to call but just got a recorded message. My goto place for self serve dog wash. Its close to home and it's $20 for 20m - plenty of time for me to wash n dry my 2 GSDs. There is a sturdy ramp to lead even the oldest dog into the tub and collar hookup. High pressure water really penetrates the under coat and the high power dryer blows out most of the winter undercoat. Usually you can choose different types of shampoos and conditioners, but I think that part of the equipment is not functioning correctly (dilutes soap too much?) since the staff provides bottles of shampoo and conditioner. They also provide fresh towels for drying - I can see a chihuahua getting blown away with the dryer -hahaha! The staff is friendly and does a great job keeping the place sanitized/clean inbetween washes - brownie points in my book since parvo and kennel cough lurk everywhere. But if someone is waiting for me to finish with my dogs, there is a squeegee you can use to sweep away your furry mess. And since it's a timed wash, consider locking the door. I've had too many people try to walk in almost letting one of my dogs out, ask me if I know about something (like I work there?), etc. and it takes washing time away. - so I recommend locking the door. Oh! And overhead speaker playing some tunes - use knob on wall to control volume. read more

I took my dog here for a wash today. It's basically like a hand car wash where you control the spray with a knob selector (shampoo, conditioner, some sort of scented stuff). It's definitely easier this way than trying to apply soap by hand to all of their fur, since the shampoo or conditioner is mixed with the water in the hose. It's a minimum of $20 for 20 minutes, which was more than enough time. Part of this time is for the blow dryer. My dog had enough around the 10 minute mark, so I rinsed the tub and got out. There is only one tub there, and I'm not sure how often it's cleaned. It was fine for me. The water was a good temperature, and there are aprons and towels to use. There was a tiny 1 1/2 ft leash, but I'd recommend bringing a slightly longer one. I didn't see a credit card slot, so you may want to bring cash. read more

I used the pet wash for my two fur babies and it was AWESOME!! The room was well lit and clean. I loved the hook to keep my dogs in place. The water temps were perfect!!!! And I love that there was a hypoallergenic shampoo! The high powers dryer was great and fast, even for my 80 # Shepard mix with tons of hair! The only thing I wish is the towels were bigger! Otherwise, it was a great experience. Great price, and great quality time with my babies! read more

I have taken both of our vehicles here a couple times and have always had good results. The last time I was here, a few days ago, I pulled out after the wash and drove down the road. A man in a red truck pulled along side me at the light. He said he saw me pull out of his car wash & I didn't get a good wash and to come back when I could and he would take care of it. As far as touchless car washes go, I now only use Monster Wash. I've had far worse washes from other places,(a few that I can hardly even consider washes,) for the same amount of money as Monster, and none get my car as clean and leave me as justified for spending $10-13 on a wash. Satisfactory in my book. Open 24/7, but during normal hours they have real life employees with soap sprayers and brushes that help the process along and can ensure a cleaner car. read more

My car was a little dirty so not all the grime and dirt came off but they did have a good facility. I really like the convenient location.

This car wash has really impressed me. My car always comes spotless and it doesn't matter if I do the $10 wash or $20 wash it always comes out clean. The thing that really impressed me about this car wash is the one time my car didn't come out clean they didn't hesitate to give me a re-wash. Even better I received a upgraded re-wash!! I talked to a man named Dave and he told me to come back the next day and get my re-wash in the touch less tunnel (bay 5) and I have to say it was amazing! I gave this place 3 or 4 chances and it not getting my truck clean it's dirty every time I get home I got to get out and finish it with a rag and then they want to charge us $16 for a car wash and they never ever seem to get your car clean I would not recommend this car wash I would go to big corner Texaco at least they get your car clean and they got men in there with brushes and my car and truck always come out clean there read more

$20, only to get ripped of and then disrespected. If you want to pay higher prices for a crappy wash, a crappy dry job, get disrespected and blamed, when you complain about it, this is where you go. I was there today, and the dryer timers were all not working. The blow dryers shut off, with my truck only half way out. The rest of the water on my truck froze solid. I talked to Eddie who claimed to be the manager. He blamed me for coming out too slow, even though he admittedly knew, that the timers weren't working. All I wanted was for them to inform me that the timers were broken next time, before I went through. I would have to use my cell phone timer or something, so that I knew how fast I needed to get out. Only after a marathon heated exchange, mostly because Eddie could not shut his mouth and listen, he finally said he would re-rinse my truck, and let me go through the dryers. By then I was pissed, and didn't trust that he wouldn't try to damage my vehicle. Put a sign next time the equipment is malfunctioning, tell me before I go through, whatever. read more

Great touchless car wash. I have had my car come out dirty a couple of times but it was really bad and they rewashed it for free. They guarantee their washes so if you have had a bad experience then go back and they will give you another wash at no cost. read more

hmm, not quite sure if the jean responded about the same carwash however monster wash in my opinion was very friendly and helpful, i guess in some cases just ask? the attendant's were very helpful and had me washing my mut in no time. with warm water! i did also indeed use the wash and it did a very good job i however did use the laser show make sure to press the flashing yellow button to activate the lazers, show was great and i will return. their service and finished product. read more
