Going out of town and leaving my best friend Kyra behind WAS probably the biggest stressor in my…read morelife until I discovered Arctic Tails. I travel a lot for work on the North Slope and it's hard to be away from my pup for weeks at a time but I know she is happy, healthy and safe when she is staying at Arctic Tails. The owners and staff are very friendly, informative and accommodating to my crazy schedule. The facility is spacious and very clean. Kyra is always happy when I come to pick her up and I can rest easy knowing my best friend is being well cared for while I'm away. A big thank you to the Arctic Tails staff from Kyra and me!

My friendly little mutt/beagle can be nervous about baths, being brushed, and especially having his…read morenails clipped, but Nicole is so good with animals that he didn't have any trouble at all. Not only that, after his appointment he is incredibly soft and for once not massively shedding all over everything. She got right in there with conditioner and brushing and blow drying and I've never seen (or felt) his coat so soft and smooth. I also can't help thinking how good my li'l dog must feel now! I bet he's warmer, too, with his coat all cleaned up like this. Overall, just really high quality work-much better than I could ever do myself. This is totally worth doing, even if you never thought about taking your dog to a groomer (which I hadn't-I always washed and brushed him myself). Logistically: it was easy to make an appointment and her business is well marked and easy to find with good parking. Plan to drop off your dog and pick him up a couple hours later. She communicated with me very well about when he would be ready; it did take about 45 minutes longer than the original time estimate, but this wasn't a problem because she kept me informed.

Last week I had my 2 king Charles cavaliers groomed by Glow up. My one looks good with no…read morecomplaints. However my other one must have had a bad experience. This was a dog that was always wagging his tail. I am not going to complain about the abrasions on his ears because I know that they were a problem being matted. What I will complain about is my dog no longer is wagging his tail. He has had a problem with his eyes were constantly gooey and had to be constantly cleaned. No here is my complaint. He no longer can see out of his one eye. He has walked into the building and my TV stand. I don't know what happened but I know that he is not the same dog as before he was groomed. I appreciate that they squeezed the grooming soon after I called for an appointment. However my dogs won't be groomed by their service anymore.

The ladies here are so kind and personable and we're able to groom our little one on such short notice. Our dachshund not only looked and smelled great but the price was affordable. You can tell he was bathed and groomed and not like at the other places where I usually have to question whether they just sprayed him with stuff to make him smell nice. I recommend this pet grooming salon, it is well worth the price you pay and everyone here is just wonderful.
