This was a dog that was always wagging his tail. I am not going to complain about the abrasions on his ears because I know that they were a problem being matted. What I will complain about is my dog no longer is wagging his tail. He has had a problem with his eyes were constantly gooey and had to be constantly cleaned. No here is my complaint. He no longer can see out of his one eye. He has walked into the building and my TV stand. I don't know what happened but I know that he is not the same dog as before he was groomed. I appreciate that they squeezed the grooming soon after I called for an appointment. However my dogs won't be groomed by their service anymore.

I'm struggling with this review. The gal that runs this place is so nice and friendly. Clearly…read moreloves animals and what she does. However, I feel that she's still learning the ropes of her business and how to manage it. Our dogs got scheduled fine. But one dog had to come back a second day because she ended up double booking an appointment. On top of that, she showed an example of how that dog would look (haircut wise) on one leg and it didn't look like that all over the next day when she was done - AND I got that dog back with a big ole cut on her. I asked the groomer about the cut the next day when I had to take that dog back. She didn't know where it was from. I believe her - but I didn't feel like she took ownership that the cut happened under her watch. Im waiting to give her another try, but feel like she deserves it because - again - you can tell this is her passion. Stay tuned.

Years ago this was a respectable establishment. These people/this person groomed my parents' dogs…read morefor decades and even I took my own there a few times. But now, good luck even getting them to return a call. I can appreciate that we are all still in lockdown type status but given today's technology, there is no reason why people should not be able to check their messages from a far nor be able to return a phone call. Especially when it could be new business. Very frustrating; hard to find groomers for long-haired cats to begin with, but dealing with the frustration of not even being able to get an answer just piles it on.

Good for people who live in Anchorage but tough if you live out of town…read more The girl today made it very clear that they will absolutely won't work with you if you live out of town to arrange a different pick up or drop off time. Makes it tough to match their hours which requires staying an extra night in anchorage if you can't make it there by 6pm ( or skip a day of work) to make an early flight out the next morning or sit and wait in their lot for 3.5 hours (like i did today due to flight into Anchorage time just missed their 12:30pm close time) to pick up my dog to drive 3 hrs back to the peninsula. Their times make it very difficult to use them if you live out of town. Otherwise they are decent and fair priced. Just no after hours number to call - they absolutely will not work with you if you need to pick up or drop of your dog any other times between 9-12:30pm or 3-6pm nor will they answer the phone. I asked about a number in case of an emergency and was told they didn't offer that either.

I was told on the phone that there were "only two people ahead of me," yet nothing was explained about appointments taking 2+ hours or the possibility of not being seen at all. After waiting an unreasonable amount of time, I was finally told there was no guarantee my dog would even be seen that night. That should have been explained before I wasted hours sitting there with an injured pet. The lack of empathy was shocking. No kindness, no concern, no basic customer service, just attitude and indifference while people sit there stressed and scared about their animals. If you're considering this place, be prepared to: * Wait for hours * Be ignored * Be treated rudely * Possibly never be seen at all Pet owners deserve honesty, communication, and compassion, especially in urgent situations. This place failed on all fronts. I would never return and strongly suggest others look elsewhere to avoid the frustration and emotional stress I went through.
