*Long Rant* *So the manager called and offered a sorry for the miscommunication and will quote "train his employees to handle these situations better." *Warning about Chewy's Dog Grooming in ER.* side note the groomer who took care of my dogs has only been either he company for a month or so. I first had to reschedule my dog appointment for November 10. I showed up on November 10 and they were not in their appointment book even though I had a text confirmation from them. So I said can I go ahead and bring them in the next day since this is obviously a mistake or a miscommunication and they said yes. I bring our dogs in on November 11 for their grooming appointment. Both of them did fine from my understanding and I paid the lady in cash. I just now got a call from the scheduler who stated that one of my dogs had a seizure that the groomer couldn't finish our dogs so she was calling to see if we could get them in another day. I obviously was confused by this because I was not told that one of them had a seizure. And she who is now confused as well was like did you not pay in full for them and I said yes I already paid the lady in cash. So a half an hour later as she's trying to figure out what is happening come to find out their groomer basically lied to them and took the cash for herself. She is now saying my dog didn't have a seizure. ‍ at this point I'm a little irritated because now as being a first time customer with them I'm now ticked off because those are my babies and can I actually trust you with my dogs. So I said well how are you going to make this right? And she said we can give you $10 off at your next visit and I said $10 off for the fact that your groomer lied about how about my dog having a seizure and you guys causing an uproar calling me confused because you don't know what is happening and scaring me because I have no idea if my dog had a seizure or not. The manager had the scheduler call me to deal with all this. I told her she needs to have the manager call me and I told her I felt bad that the manager would even have her dealing with this in the first place. *currently waiting for the manger to call and make this right* Let me revise this to say that the lady couldn't confirm whether or not my dog had a seizure or not because they couldn't get ahold of the groomer who took care of my dog. They are just assuming she lied about the seizure part and took the money. read more

The owner Aylssa doesn't do anything when she is there besides sitting behind the desk. She and her husband are ok with their employees walking away from a dog that is attached to the wall when on the table or in the wash basen. So if the dog jumps off it can hurt it self or even hang its self. They also will put dawn dish soap on your dog if they are "really" dirty, witch can cause a chemical reaction with the soaps they use. They only have 3 big dog kennels in the back and 2 median size kennels on top of two of them. They don't have any way to attach any dog so they can stand on the floor if they need to walk away from them for any reason. read more

I wash my dogs (Belgian Tervuren and a Jack Russel) about once a month and have always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They clearly love dogs. I while I could wash and blow dry them at home, it sure is nice to be able to leave all the hair at Chewy's! If I were to find anything Loki g, it would be that they are not open on Sunday's. But I understand staffing and clearly I've learned to plan accordingly. Super glad for this resource in the community! Thank you! read more

Went here today for the first time after I booked an appointment to get my dog groomed and they didn't disappoint. When I got there for my appointment the groomer asked me how I wanted my baby groomed and she actually really listened and seemed to genuinely care not just trying to make a buck. My dog is 7 years old and she has been going to a groomer her whole life but she never looked as good as she did today. I am over the moon and will definitely come here as a over and over return patron read more

I've taken my dog here plenty of times. it seems like every time it gets worse. i won't be coming here again. they've ignored what cut i've asked them to give. either will cut more hair then i asked or what cut as much as i asked. they've cut my dog plenty of times and said that my dog was aggressive, when i've never heard any complaints about him from vets or previous groomers. the worst part is, there's an employee there that takes pictures of the dogs, posts them on her social media and talks bad about the owners. i've seen these posts many times and when she was confronted about this issue, all she said was "the owner didn't brush her dog". she had no right to do that. she didn't have permission from that dogs owner to take pictures. NOT WORTH IT! read more

I have been going to chewies Dog Wash for years every dog I've ever owned has gone there. I have two Scottish Terriers and have been taken them there cents they were little. This last trip was unbelievable they were butchered they actually reserved for brats. They shaved off their beards their ears all the hair on their tail eyebrows. On top of that they left bald patches on the dogs. The groomers were very unreasonable they did not even apologize. They actually blamed it on me for not giving them better instructions but yet they've been cutting these dogs for years. I'm sorry this happened will not be returning. I posted a review on Facebook but it was quickly deleted. Very disappointed read more
