About 10 dollars for an enjoyable time. Took my girlfriend and my best friend and his girlfriend in a little double date. Very friendly staff. The only downside was that it was pretty short for an 18 hole mini golf course. However it was pretty to look at and overall a great vibe. read more

So I general I loathe these places because they are dirty, the staff is sullen, and they squeeze every single cent out of you. This was not the case at all at Monster. I felt it was well worth what I spent(get the add on for $5 so the kids can do things while waiting for golf), the staff was friendly and helpful, and the place felt clean. We went here today for my daughter's birthday party and we had a blast!!! The staff was SUPER NICE (shout out to Raven, Ashley, Beth, and Merchelle) and the kids had a GREAT TIME!!! My daughter said it was "the best birthday party ever!!!" They guided all the kids through mini golf, gave us a photo op as a kids, and because our kids are AMAZING, they complimented them on their good behavior! Obnoxiously annoyed with my visit today. I came with my five-year-old and when we started at the first hole,we were approached by an employee who asked us to move to the sixth to eighth hole because they had a group coming in. I looked around and no group had arrived yet. I questioned the employee and said why can't we just continue to golf because there's no one here yet. She kept saying ma'am I'm sorry but you need to move further ahead because we have a group coming in. Again there was no group that had arrived. We ended up moving up to the sixth hole and we're place right behind another group of people and was really upset that now I had to wait on somebody else to finish. After playing three holes the group still hadn't arrived. When they did, it was a daycare group of 7 kids. They ended up playing 6 Holes and leaving. There really was no need do you bother me and my son while playing our game of putt putt. I paid just like everyone else and shouldn't have been asked to move. Needless to say I will not be returning back and I'm very irritated about the money that I spent to not even get to play a full game. read more

We were looking forward to trying this new place, and excited that when we arrived, it wasn't very crowded. Despite that, we were told a 20 minute wait for our group of 8. We were puzzled and wondered what the wait would be if the place was crowded, but said fine, and purchased the kids cards to play the games. We watched the course sitting there fairly empty our entire wait time wondering why we couldn't play, and then at the 20 minute mark, a large birthday party of young kids came out to start on hole 1. When I came to the desk to ask about it, she said we were next and were starting behind the large party. I asked to speak to the manager, and explained that we had been waiting 25 minutes at this point looking at a fairly empty course, only to be starting behind a large birthday party. He told us the 20 minute wait was because of that birthday party and the party was running 10 minutes behind. When I explained that in that entire time we were waiting, we could have been halfway through the course, I was given a $5 gift card "because they were running 10 minutes behind and that's the policy" and then told we could start on the back 9. There was little acknowledgement that they had goofed the situation from the start, and that I had to say something to even get them to acknowledge what happened. The $5 gift card is a small fraction of what I paid for our large group to play golf, not to mention keep the kids busy with their games while we waited. The "wait time" felt like a ploy to get us to spend money on their mini bowling, laser tag, and arcade games since there wasn't actually a wait time when we arrived. The golf itself was fun, but not sure we'd come back or recommend it. read more

This was a ton of fun for two 20-So things and two 50-somethings. We played a round of mini golf, during in the afternoon, during which the PA announcer called out games (movie song trivia) and directions like, "your next shot has to be behind your back." There's no admission fee, so parents who just want to watch their kids play can do so. The black-lit "monster" atmosphere isn't too scary for kids, and the staff is very friendly. My husband and I just went here for a date night and we had fun playing mini golf! I enjoyed the monster glow theme and music. It definitely has a family friendly atmosphere (I don't have kids but maybe some might be scared of the monsters on the mini golf range? A friend & I went to Monster Mini Golf last night for the first time & had a great time! The decorations are really fun and bright. The staff was all very friendly and well organized. We were there at the same time as a 25-person birthday party & it was totally smooth. Some of the holes were very challenging too, especially hole #7. I am shocked that this place gets such good reviews. It is too loud, too obnoxious. If you have a child with sensory issues, do not go here, s/he will freak out. It is also ridiculously expensive. This is a great little mini-golf course. I recommend getting here when they open so you can get in and get out. The theme is fun and they play great music. It's glow-in-the-dark, but some of the holes can still be challenging because some hidden tunnels can be hard to see until you get right on top of them. The teenagers who work here are very friendly and they make sure that the party behind you doesn't get too close. Even though they tell you this when instructing you, some people still start on a hole before you are finished. They also have an arcade inside and everything is really clean. Nice touch at the end as they give the person with the lowest score a card to come back because "they need more practice." read more

I didn't mind this place at all. If you're into mini golf, this is a place that should be on your list in the northern va area. I liked it but felt it was something i'd only do once considering the holes weren't unique, everyone is running around while you are trying to play or stepping in your lane and hanging out (including staff), some staff members i felt, were a little rude. However there were other staff members whom were extremely friendly and if they weren't, they were at least helpful. Not a bad spot at all though and great for kids. read more

We hosted my twins' 7th birthday party here last month, and it was hands down the best and most organized party I have ever had for them. We had about 18 kids for the VIP package on a Sunday morning. We were given 4 party helpers, who unlike the "helpers" at other birthday venues, actually help and seem to enjoy their job! They were fully engaged and kept 18 boys completely in order and in line. The venue itself was spotless. The party room was clean and adorable decor. All of the kids had an absolute blast, and for the parents that stayed, several of them came to me and said this was the best kids' party they had ever attended. Good cheap date spot! I expected it to be catered to kids, but the whole theme is intrinsic and keeps the mood lighthearted and fun. The arcade is also cheap and entertaining, including a fun lazer room where you have to jump through the lazers like a spy. Definitely would recommend to people of any ages. read more

It was very quiet (there was only one other group other than us), which was fantastic since I have 3 young kids and I didn't have to worry about going too slow for other groups. This place is great! We came in because they had a groupon, but we would definitely come back without one. Good prices and very clean, but what made it really great was the staff. While people are playing, the DJ asked trivia questions (and basically gave you the answers) and passed out free tickets as a prize (so was basically just giving away free tickets, which kids love). They also gave us a pass for a free game as a consolation prize to the person who lost. Overall, this is a cute, family run place that is great for families. read more

For about $20 you are able to play mini golf, mini bowling, laser maze and get a card for arcade games.
