It was a rainy day so took my mom and toddler here. It wasn't too busy on a weeknight. Check in wasn't that onerous. The waiver wasn't that long. They charge for additional adults accompanying your little one which was different from other indoor playgrounds that just cared about the number of littles. It seemed decently clean. Meland Playground is okay...solid 3 stars only because my kids love it. It's a decent place for kids to burn energy, but it definitely gets packed on weekends, which makes it chaotic. Kids running everywhere and parents not watching their kids, seriously the most overstimulating place. It's a kid place so its definitely not the cleanest place and one annoying thing: everyone dumps their jackets and stuff on the front tables instead of actually using the designated area, so there's nowhere to sit or organize your things. I mean it'd be nice to actually use the tables to eat the pizza you're ordering there. Not terrible, not amazing. Fine for a quick play session, and getting the kids out the house. Bring headphones to drown out the noise (depending on how old your kids are). read more

We've visited Me Land twice, once during a school day off and another time for a birthday party. It's one of the newer indoor play places in the DMV and has a "space" theme throughout the place. It's located in the Sully Plaza shopping center in Chantilly with ample parking in the lot. There were several areas to play with for kids of various age groups, from babies/toddlers to older kids. There's a huge ball pit that both of my kids loved in addition to plenty of slides. Now onto the negatives: - The staff was friendly... but inattentive and possibly understaffed as there were so many messes and kids going in and out of the gate without any supervision - Check-in wasn't really taken seriously (I questioned why did I have to submit a waiver?) and there were kids who were running barefoot and/or adults who wore shoes inside the play area - Each time we visited was very chaotic and seemed like it was overcapacity as it was packed with both adults and kids - Some parents barely supervised their kids and there were some other kids getting pushed and shoved due to how crowded it was We won't be coming back unless it's for a birthday party. read more

I really wanted to like Me Land due to proximity to my house, however, I was incredibly blown away at how dirty and unkempt it was. We came first thing in the morning, expecting it to be fairly well cleaned from the night before. There was hair, bandaids, food, dust, food wrappers, etc all throughout the playground. The ball pit had hundreds of broken balls. It is clear this place is not cleaned daily or even weekly. The staff seemed like they didnt want to be there and you were an inconvenience to them. They don't have anyone monitoring rules so kids were eating throughout the equipment, running up and down slides, etc. Scramble is the way to go. They clean throughout the day, friendly staff, and rules are monitored. read more

I was expecting so much more. The fam and I were invited to a birthday party here. I checked the website and it looked so bright and big inside. It is located in a plaza, so the parking isn't too great. Like all indoor playgrounds you have to sign a waiver prior to entry; however, no one asked us for it. There were cubbies for your items, but not too many due to the people there. They had a small area for toddlers, a ball pit (yuck) and a play area for the kids to climb with a large slide. There is an area for the parents to sit, and a merry go round type thing that was smack in the middle. The placement of it was odd. Of course you are supposed to be in socks; although, I did see some people in shoes while we were there. Overall, I'm learning that indoor playgrounds are NOT IT during cold/flu season, which proved to be true when we left. I think the staff need to be more proactive in their practices to ensure the safety of everyone. Due to its location (it's hella far) and the staff, can't say I'll be bringing my little back. read more

We just hosted our sons 2nd birthday party here on Saturday and it was a blast. They had the room pre-prepped and we just brought in our decorations and fixed it up. The food was good considering it was a child's bday party. After the party room was used the kids were allowed to play until they wanted to which is a huge bonus for me. I hate going to a party in which they only play for an hour and you have to leave. I would highly recommend them to anyone for a calm and sweet party. read more

Came here for a play date and it was really cute. We came right as they opened and it was not overly crowded. The space was clean and there were a lot of different areas and activities for the kids and a massage chair station for the parents. What's great about this space is that there is a lot of seating for parents to actually "sit" and watch the kids play. As a parent you have a full view of the entire space and there is only one entrance so you can watch your kids as they play. Just a note, there is no food options here except for chips soda and water. Only if you book a party room they will provide pizza and you have to book a party room at least 24 hours in advance. All in all it was a nice time for the kids and the parents. read more

This is an amazing place for children to run free and just have fun. It is like Chuck E Cheese on crack . They were areas that I saw trash in, but I expect nothing less for a place where there are kids gone wild. Nothing big, just water bottles and juice bottles and the team went around scooping them up. My son had an absolute blast. He even had me in the balls playing with him. This was a great event for a free Sunday with no plans and there are so many surrounding places to eat...about to pick one out now!!! read more

I brought my kiddos (2 and 5, at the time) here on a weekend afternoon and we easily enjoyed around four hours here. Very new and clean. Lots of fun slides and obstacles. My youngest could do most things with minimal help. A highlight was the sphere that drops balls over the ball pit. It wasn't overly crowded but felt a little snug at times. I approached the staff about it and the lady responded with "I know, I'm sorry, it smells like this every weekend, there's nothing we can do about it". WHAT? I personally don't mind as an ADULT. It's a newer indoor playground for toddlers and kids. The equipment is new of course. Not sparkly clean but definitely much cleaner compare to most indoor playgrounds we have been to. I am curious to see how the cleanliness and equipment will hold up overtime. I was quite impressed with all the kiddie obstacle courses and activities there were for my kids. I felt like almost all of them were appropriate for my almost 3 year old toddler (except one slide and one obstacle course). From the tubing to the slides to the make believe kitchen to the interactive ball pit, the kids had a blast. And I can say the adults had a blast too. Pricing is different depending on the age of the kids and the day of the week. We went on a Monday and it was $12.99 for my 2 year old and $15.99 for my 6 year old. One parent from the family is free and the other parent was an additional $5.99. I think pricing is reasonable because you're paying for an all day pass. You can play and then leave to eat and come back to play some more. I think it's fair. The staff at the front were very friendly. Fill out the waiver for your kids beforehand. Bring non skid socks or else buy what they have. I think they only had snacks for sale and I didn't see any real food. But that's not a problem for us. I prefer to go out and eat at the many wonderful restaurants in the area than pay for overpriced chicken tenders and pizza. But that's just me. Seriously save your time and pick another indoor play in the DMV. -there are far better options. Me Land Smells very badly of urine- slides are sticky from children's leaking diapers. Staff not present cleaning/supervising activities. Children are throwing hard objects etc. They are definitely exceeding a safe limit of people allowed in. There is also no sectioned off area for younger children or babies. I saw many close calls with older children running or falling onto young ones. I do not recommend Me Land read more

Brought my 4 children ages 10, 7 and twin 2 yr olds. There was plenty to do for all four of them and no one wanted to leave when it was time. Very engaging and good variety of activities. Great place to bring kids to blow off steam when you can't be outside. Parking was easy. This isn't a place you can easily keep track of little ones by sitting on the side. Their is a person at the door but there's no accountability for which child belongs to each parent, so recommend keeping a close eye on 2-3yo and under. read more

The ball pit area -- the balls are everywhere OUTSIDE the pit. No staff taking the balls back into the pit. The balls are scattered and rolling everywhere. That's a hazard esp. there are senior citizens. Also, Little kids sometimes like to bury themselves in the ball pit and big kids are jumping everywhere inside the pit. Again no staff watching them. No staff anywhere in this place except for the cashier. The sliding tubing area -- little kids are trying to drag those two heavy tubes themselves up to the top in order to slide down. Obviously they are not able to do that. Again no staff there helping them so the little kids just can't play the tubing if their parents are not nearby. read more

Just finished up at Me Land but only stayed 5 minutes or so, as the whole facility was filthy, clearly nobody cleaned anything the night before. If this is what to expect, I will not be back with my daughter. With this type of business, you need to have cleaners throughout the day and especially each night after business hours, Me Land seemingly has neither. read more

Don't come on a weekend, it's over capacity. It's a great place for kids, but in seconds they can disappear anywhere in the playground, and it takes 20-30 mins to find them again. The facility is brand new & that earns the two stars I've awarded. The birthday party experience is extremely stressful and horrible. Management has no interest in anything but making money. My return on investment was pretty low. I had high expectations after going to another me land location. -I booked a party and the facility was way past capacity. There were long lines to enter and management kept letting more and more kids in. Kids had to wait in line to use amenities. Adults had NO WHERE to stand (sitting was out of the question) -Facility is not allergy friendly. If you have a party guest with an allergy or special diet, the facility does not have any options for them AND will charge you $50 to accommodate the guest, even if you write to management. They just want your money -- they have no interest in accommodating children. -The floor is very slippery! Party guests were falling even with non-slip socks on. -Bathrooms were not cleaned. -Kids kept falling off of the party benches, this was such a poor choice for a party set up, -The party rooms are super tiny. You can expect all of your party guest's parents to be standing outside of the party room. I spent over $700 and it was a subpar party experience. Pretty sad. read more

Yay, you know you're a mom when you get excited for a newly opened indoor playground! This space themed facility is very nice and big and what they have is distinguishable from the other places we've been to. I know my kids loved it because we literally stayed there for 6 hours yesterday until they closed, no joke. I like that there is no time limit, but they might set one the future as it gets busier. I got some me time getting some self care in with the massage chair, sitting there and browsing on my phone guilt free while the kids had fun burning their endless energy and running around for hours; it's a win win. They especially liked the interactive ball pit and the tubing slide thing. They have three party rooms; I will likely consider throwing my kid's next birthday party here. We've been to Jolly Yolly dozens of times for the years so they are getting bored and are also outgrowing it; this new spot is a welcoming upgraded addition and just what the area needs. The facility is huge so there is less worry of overcrowding. The only thing is that the bathrooms could use some maintenance. read more
