We had a fantastic time here. It is huge. My 8 year old actually commented that it was too big because she kept losing track of her friends. I would recommend bringing at least 2 kids with you so they can navigate the large play area together. We spent about 3 hours here before the kids were wiped out. They have juice boxes and small snacks available for purchase. No outside drinks or food is allowed but I saw plenty of people with water bottles so that should be fine. A great location for birthday parties for kids 3 to 10. So many different areas to play on with dedicated spaces for younger kids only.

It's a decent size indoor kids play space. Pricey. Any more than 2 kids and not sure if it's worth it for one visit. Definitely need more deals or groupon. Staff is friendly. Tables/ counters and chairs should be wiped down throughout the day

Very cute place! I like that it is separated by ages, the parking though Because it's in a complex with additional business, it may be more challenging to find parking on Saturdays. But other than that, it was great time!

Amazing place to take your kids to play indoor! Just please LOWER walk-in Price! Our 2nd time visiting here @Hyper Kidz. I'm glad they have this NEW location at Franconia (Springfield, VA) location! Of course I'll be back w/ the kiddos! Mostly on weekdays though, Admission Price is quite expensive. I think they need to make the play area entrance MORE difficult for kids to walk in or out through for better security measures! The staff told me that I couldn't eat my Roy Rogers meal inside the sitting area up front. Kind of felt very dismissed. Please be more lenient for parents.

I try to avoid this type of places because they are always so dirty and not well maintained. Hyper Kidz opened not too long ago, so naturally it's in great shape! However I was pleasantly surprised to see the staff cleaning the play structures at least 4 different times in the 3 hrs we were there. The place is soo clean and the staff are soooo so good and caring about the safety of kids. I got to see first hand how in at least 5 different occasions they nicely redirected kids that weren't using the equipment properly (in a dangerous way) or removing older kids from smaller kids' areas. The staff member working in the 2 and under area was so nice, I actually thought he was the parent of a kid because he was being so patient and playful with a little kid for like 30 min while the mom was nowhere to be found. Now onto the fun part: sooo much to do for all ages! They have 3 different play areas depending on the kids' ages. They are all soooo much fun, slides in all 3, ball pits in 2, everything that you can imagine and more. The areas are nicely spaced out. And there are even a basketball and soccer little courts. Don't forget your socks! They do sell some of you forget them. Re entry is allowed for same day. Save time and sign waivers online! Will be back and will definitely recommend! Nice job to everyone working there!

I was invited to a birthday party to celebrate the cutest little one year old. I've never heard of this place before and I was amazed when I walked in. There's something for all ages, everything is padded to minimize injuries, and so fun!! Seriously, it was the coolest. The best part is that it is sized so that parents can actually accompany the little for those who are timid or to young to play solo. If you haven't taken your kids here yet, plan to make a trip soon! This is the perfect place for them to run around crazy and work off their never ending energy.

The vibe: The vibe is chaos, but it's what's to be expected of an indoor playground on the weekend.

I am writing with some concerns about the way my family was treated by your staff on Saturday morning at the Alexandria location. First, let me share that my wife and I discovered Scramble at Christmastime, and have now been several times to both the Alexandria and Falls Church locations. I felt we had discovered a true gem - a place where we could retreat with our now two-year-old for a morning or afternoon of fun. The whole environment is designed for fun, and I appreciated how inclusive things felt, as we interacted with your staff and strangers with smiles all around. But our visit on Saturday left us feeling unwelcome, embarrassed, and like second-class citizens. We visited the Falls Church location a few weeks ago and asked about birthday options outside of hosting a party, because we envisioned a very small gathering. The staff member there explained that if you do not book the birthday package, you cannot bring in outside cake or balloons and that we would only be able to purchase food from you all. Got it - all good! We invited two friends and their little ones to gather with us on Saturday morning, we paid the entry fees for everyone who joined, and we ordered a few pizzas to enjoy while our little ones ran around. We were first approached by your staff member, Cora, shortly after receiving our food. She came to our table and told us to move the two tables that we had pulled together apart. Her approach was curt - she didn't start by explaining any rationale for what the issue was - she simply gave us the directive. I asked her if she was serious because of the tone - I was honestly surprised - and then she explained that it was a fire hazard. So we moved the tables apart and returned to our fun. About twenty minutes later, while we were all away from the tables where our belongings were sitting, Cora approached again. This time, she snatched a gift bag while my wife was nearby. She told my wife that gifts were not allowed, and proceeded to move it outside of the play area. I intervened to ask her what the issue was, and she explained that we could not have a gift without having a party. I then went to the front desk and spoke with her and the party manager for a while to ask what the issue was and to share that I felt like we were being targeted because we had two separate interactions, and none of this was explained when we checked into the venue. We are not rule-breakers. I am fastidious in honoring the rules of any space I enter. My wife jokes about me being too straight-laced. I understand that Scramble has rules, and have no desire to work around them. I believe that this interaction could have been resolved through a simple dialogue where a member of your staff could have politely shared the policy and asked us to make a shift. Instead, we felt like delinquent teenagers, and the experience was deeply embarrassing and off-putting. Our guests, visiting for the first time after our rave reviews, wondered what the issue was. After Cora removed the gift bag without approaching us to explain things, I felt unwelcome and uneasy about even staying. I felt the message she sent to us was that we were second-class citizens that day - those deserving of respect at your establishment are those who pay a premium for expanded services. And I could not help but wonder if the interactions would be different if half of us were not people of color. I am not sharing this because I seek retribution against Cora. I share this instead, hoping that your establishment can be more considerate of your guests. You say that your mission is to "provide extraordinary play for all children"; I hope you will consider that the environment you create for families has an impact on your ability to attain that mission.

But Mulberry Lane is a notch above bc not only is it a play cafe but there is staff there to watch your lils while you get to go elsewhere within the building whether that's in the lil tables visibly nearby or in one of their neighboring and partnering restaurants. I'd toootally get my kids memberships if we lived nearby. Since we probably would only go weekends for an hour or two, I'm glad there are the options for one time pay or multi hour passes for future use. Since we weren't sure if we'd be back, we gave it a try for one hour. Prices may change but our first time was $18 per child per hour. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)
