My daughter and I have been going to Romp n Roll in Fairfax for a few months now, and we absolutely love it! The classes are fun, engaging, and perfect for little ones to explore, play, and be creative. Sofia enjoys every moment--whether it's playing, doing art projects, or just having a great time with other kids. All of the instructors are amazing--friendly, patient, and genuinely invested in the kids having a great experience. A special shoutout to Ms Krissie & Avni for going above and beyond to make sure both the kids and the parents are having fun. always engaged, full of energy, and makes every class something we look forward to attend. And I have to mention Ms Ilana, the owner--she is incredible So warm, thoughtful, and truly passionate about what she does. You can tell she cares deeply about the space she's created for families. She's constantly working on ways to make things even better, and it shows. If you're a parent looking for a fun, creative, and welcoming place for your child, Romp n Roll Fairfax is it. Highly recommend.

Hyper Kidz Alexandria - We love these types of places. This one is super clean and the staff is nice.

Only part that was a bit of a downfall was when you see grown kids running around. I worried that my 2 & 4 year old will get hurt due to this. They have snacks to purchase in case you don't bring any. They also have shoe covers and I have to say the bathrooms were very clean. I will definitely be back.

We arrived and the party room smelled AWFUL- like the party before us was a full on weed party. I was stunned and freaking out. All of my closest friends with their sweet kiddos were about to arrive and we would all be stuffed in this tiny room of stench. the party host noticed right away and offered to try air freshener and I said yes and asked for the manager. The manager came over. I asked her....how can a birthday party at a venue for little children be filled with...this? I was appalled at her response. First she said, maam, weed is legal in Virginia. Ok in that case why don't we go ahead and also allow parties to serve alcohol and smoke cigarettes. THIS IS A CHILDRENS PLAY AREA! Who cares if it's legal! How is that relevant to my concern!? Then she quickly backtracked saying of course they weren't smoking in here, they must have just smoked outside and it was just on their persons when they entered. Ummmm no. The entire room REEKS. She refused to do anything for us other than offer to mop (but we're all in socks...no thanks). Later they took $6 off my balance and gave me three day pass vouchers (I've always gotten these in the past after large parties). Did nothing to offer any kind of discount. I told them that I would sadly have to give a one star review and the response was just...shrug. Awful. Not returning and don't recommend this for birthdays anymore.

We went there during a recent heat wave, and it was such a relief to have a place to play with air conditioning (and that wasn't tearing up our own home). There are activities for kids of various ages, including a baby-centric exploration area and a huge maze that's good for elementary aged kids. There are lots of big soft blocks to stack, ball pits, and cute themed play areas. But it's definitely for younger kids. Tweens and up probably wouldn't be interested. The cons: Supervision is minimal and some kids get very rowdy. Rules seem to be enforced in a haphazard way. I've seen kids standing on the windowsills and banging on the glass, stacking toys to dive onto the ground, and piling four at a time onto the slides. You should keep an eye on the toddler crowd to make sure that older kids aren't shoving them. Lots of parents grab a drink or food to relax while their kids run wild. If that's your vibe, this place is a good fit. But it's also good for parents who want to be a bit more hands on--you can let your child explore while keeping them in close sight for much of the space. Also remember to wear socks!

It was definitely over-crowded and quite hard to find a table to sit down. We eventually found one right at the back of the store. The kids had the best time but scramble employees were no where to be found! There was no one monitoring kids. My kid got hurt a few times by slightly older kids and it was quite chaotic. The staff were not cleaning at all. You have to remove your shoes before entering the play area but the toilets are located inside the play designated area which means you have to go into the bathroom with socks on which is very gross. They should allow shoes in the bathroom area. Also the soap dispensers were empty and the lady that cleans the bathroom just hung out in the bathroom not really cleaning or filling the soap. The cafe - there are food options for kids and adults. We did try the kids pizza and French fries. The pizza was fine( cheese) but the fries were not good. It tasted like they fried it in very old oil. They do have coffee but I did not try it as the didn't have an option for skim milk. They do not allow outside food or drink but no one seems to really monitor that. Security - ok so this is non-existent. There is a door that divides outside area with inside play area but kids can easily open the door and leave the premises. The lady that stands by the door doesn't monitor kids matches with their guardians. She just opens and closes the door and often she is not there at all. They do not give wristbands at all or any form of security feature. So watch your kids closely while you are there as once they go into that massive play area it's difficult to locate them. The kids seemed to enjoy it as they don't worry about germs , dirt or food. I mean it's fine for an hour or so but honestly it was the last resort when deciding on a place to take the kids too. They also charge the adults an entry fee!!! ‍ I mean it's not like we are playing in the kids areas . I think we paid $55 for entry (2 kids and 2 adults). Would I go back? Not by choice but if the kids asked then I would consider it for an hour or two. ( definitely not on a weekend though).

From high ropes courses, to ninja warrior battles, giant slide, parkour, trampoline dodgeball, and battle beam there is lots of things to do. While this place is not the newest, it was very clean and well staffed. Make sure to get dippin' dots as a treat on your way out. We would definitely come back!

However, within minutes, it became clear that this facility is dangerously understaffed and falling apart. My biggest concern is safety. The few staff members present were completely checked out. Instead of monitoring the equipment, they were grouped together looking at their phones. This was terrifyingly apparent on the high ropes course. I watched a young boy climb a set of pillars nearly 15 feet in the air before the attendant finally looked up from her phone to intervene. In an environment like this, that level of negligence is unacceptable. The facility itself looks ok at first glance but is in disrepair. Large strips of rubber were falling off the warped wall, and the general maintenance is appalling. I've attached a photo of the stairs where the lighting fixtures have been ripped out, leaving exposed wiring hanging open right where kids are walking. Between the distracted staff and the crumbling infrastructure, this place is a liability. It feels unsafe and frankly needs to be shut down before a child gets seriously hurt. We will not be returning.

My children would give this place five stars easily but as an adult it was not my favorite: - Even though this place is only a few months old, I could see a lot of wear and tear on the equipment. The balloon tunnel was not working. - The location is half the size of the previous playplace and they have packed everything like sardines. The ballpit / slides face the entrance so balls are always rolling into the mall and there is no room for parents to watch their children. - It can packed quickly on weekends so there is no room to move around - The party room had a piece of broken equipment in it If you live nearby they have an unlimited play membership for $59 a month which is a great deal if you're looking for a spot to get your wiggles out.

Since we probably would only go weekends for an hour or two, I'm glad there are the options for one time pay or multi hour passes for future use. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)

I asked her for the contact information and she sent me the website for Sweet Gifts which I saved onto my "Favorites" links on my phone. Fast forward one year later... I'm planning my own socially distanced "drive by" and "drop in" baby shower with close friends and family. One of the first businesses that I inquired was Sweet Gifts because I've always wanted a balloon garland. However, Sweet Gifts is more than just balloons, balloon walls, and garlands -- they also do custom laser cuts and engraving and grass backdrop rentals as well! Their balloon work is so aesthetically pleasing and they really take their time to curate an impressive look for your event (if you don't believe me, check out their Instagram for some of their beautiful work!). I went with the grass backdrop rental, laser cut, and a ready-to-hang garland to display. The team came on time and was able to set everything up within 2.5 hours! They also wore masks throughout the whole setup and always knocked on the door to make sure to get my opinion on the display. I received several compliments from our guests and have told them all about Sweet Gifts! Additionally, they came back later that evening to take down the grass backdrop and left us with the ready-to-hang garland and laser cut for us to keep. When it comes to payment, you will pay 50% for your reservation and then 50% the day before. They also accepted payment through various methods. I definitely plan to use Sweet Gifts for future events!
