At first, I was in the wrong location on the total other side of the complex. This was maybe the best place to hang indoors with kids that was non sensory overload. It's chill, cool people working there, no annoying music, no bright colors, lights, etc. No creepy animatronic mouse serving you inedible pizza. It's only ten dollars for each kid to play, no fee for adults. They also do birthday parties and sell the play equipment. We played for almost two hours and there were enough different fun activities (rock climbing, slides, swings, trampolines, basketball courts) for the kids not to get board. My four year old loved it, and the older kids seemed to really be enjoying themselves as well. I was tempted not to write this review to keep this place to myself ;)

The highlight for older kids is the stand-up merry-go-round. There is one of the swings where the adult and baby can swing together too. There is a long tunnel slide as well as a tiny slide for tots. The setting in the woods is nice too. Parking is available in the lot at the front of the path to the playground. The playground equipment is brand new; definitely worth a visit if you're nearby.

The lights are also blinding at times but other than that the court areas are pretty spacious -- minus the sides due to the nets. There is quite a bit of space to put your belongings and for people to come by to watch + support! The floors could use some sweeping as it is usually slippery/dusty Overall, this location consistently holds many leagues, tourneys, and open gyms and would recommend 7/10 for the facility but 9/10 to come play!

This new splash pad and playground serves as a reminder that damn Loudon County has some money. We got here at noon with our toddler and only planned to spend a couple of hours and ended up basically being here until they closed in the middle of summer at 8 PM. I think it's an amazing design to have three playground design for different ages right near the splash pad. Luckily it was like 5000° out so kids dried off the minute they left the waterpark to go to playgrounds. So being a wet mess really wasn't a concern. There are a few rules to the waterpark that includes no toys and no dogs and the standard diaper requirements for the incontinent , but otherwise it's pretty open and people were really really well behaved. The bathrooms are amazingly clean for a public bathrooms and offer wide enough stalls to change in. It's highly recommended because of temperatures and the fact that most of the place is concrete to wear water shoes. The only issue we had was that a baby kept putting wet banana peels like this was Mario kart in the splash pad and people kept tripping on them. Most of the water features are well functioning and a lot of fun. The playground themselves range from ages 5 to 12, and have a lot of hills with Astroturf, which is kind of fun to just roll down and they have slides built into them. There are a lot of climbing activities. The slides do get hot on a sunny day, but since the kids are already wet from the waterpark, they seem fine. And the park is very clean. We went on a weekday and it wasn't really that crowded, but I can see how weekends could be pretty full. They also have lots of tables for our families to sit down and enjoy some picnic items.

We have held our company picnic at the Great Falls Grange for the last two years. Working with…read moreJulie and the Foundation has been so refreshing. This year, our picnic was planned for the hottest day of the summer so far. We have a big set up of games and inflatables with Ed Boak and Fun Services and a full menu with Bob Egan and High Point Catering. The building is air conditioned which makes it a great place to set up the food, cold drinks and some eating tables. The outside is so beautifully maintained with lots of shade. The Great Falls Foundation has done a wonderful job of caring for this beautiful and historic property. We are already planning to return next year! Thank you Julie and the Great Falls Foundation!

The grange is a great local playground. The best in great falls (and for my money better than…read morethose in Vienna too). It's got one huge play set with fun tunnels and slides. A smaller 2-5 play set, a nice feature and a very rarely seen Whirl A Round that my kids love. While the playgrounds are more or less standard the shade, the size and the whirl a round put this playground up a couple notches for your average elementary school playground. There is also a small older building that hosts farmers markets in the winter and a few pavilions that are nice for get togethers. Overall a great local spot.

This is a delightful venue for "Rock the Block," and other events. Also the streets in old town are quite pedestrian friendly. Do be wary, but by all means enjoy the best part of Fairfax City. Get that ice cream or other foods from so many close by restaurants. The fountains add a look of intrigue.
