This was a pretty cool spot. It's in a business center area so you have to know where you're going. The staff was attentive. I wish they allowed a little more than an hour for eating and cake during a party reservation. It goes by fast, especially when you're dealing with littles. Additionally, the bathrooms went out while there and you had to wear used crocs to enter. Idk how I felt about that. The lockers were also not as functional as one would hope. I like that they have a concession stand but 3.95 for a small popsicle felt like highway robbery. I could buy a whole box for that. One of the slides also was barely functional. I think they need blankets to assist with the wave slide. All in all, it's a cool place to escape the heat wave and exert some energy.

Ball fun area - Kids are playing in a ball pit at an indoor playground, with colorful plastic balls and climbing structures visible in the background.

We had such a great time at Recess! Jen, one of the owners, was so welcoming, and the space was clean, well-organized, and fun for kids of all ages. I loved the clean bathrooms (with clogs provided!) and how staff were constantly tidying up. There are snacks, water, and tons of play areas--even space for adults to join in the fun. My daughter and her friends had a blast. We'll definitely be back!

Recess - A colorful neon sign spells "Recess" with a bear-shaped outline over the "C," mounted on a yellow wall.

As a mom, safe, fun, & CLEAN play is super important! I brought my toddler here to play for a play date and let me tell you - it's as clean as it gets! I was impressed by how clean the facility is and there are staff members who constantly wipe down areas during play time. The kids are having a blast and there are so many different activities! From mazes, slides, ball pits, puzzles, bikes, spinners, swings, and everything in between, the choices are endless! The staff is super friendly and welcoming! If you have a little (or big) one, please come check this place out! It does not disappoint and your kiddos will ask to come back again and again!

Took my motor-delayed 12-month-old on a Sunday afternoon to encourage him to crawl around. I didn't see a lot of reviews from the infant and young toddler crowd, so I wasn't sure how it would go, but this was perfect for him. We didn't set foot in the main play structure (though we could have, since it's built for parents to accompany if they want!) but he WORE HIMSELF OUT crawling all over the soft play areas. He lasted 2 hours, which is quite a bit longer than I expected, and immediately fell asleep in the car on the way home. We will definitely be back.

I saw a grass sign for this near the Cherry Hill Target, anything that's an Indoor Playspace gets my attention especially during this hot summer-- tried it out with my 9 yr old and 2 year old, they both loved this place and so did we. It's clean, inventive, and the staff is engaged. They thought of every little detail, even phone charging stations and WiFi for parents. If you don't have a charger the staff will loan one! Kids are happy, there is enough to do-- variance and stimulation appropriate for toddlers thru age 11. Highly, highly recommend!

I was looking for a place to host my 4 year old's birthday, and after some scrolling on Google, I found this place. I'M SO GLAD I DID!! From what I understand, the owners are a husband/wife team. Before the party, I spoke to the husband, and he was so nice. I had a bit of an issue with not as many people RSVPing as I had hoped after booking one of the larger party rooms. So he took some notes on the party theme, and said he'll see what they can do to help out. When I got to the center and walked into the room, I could have cried. It was soooo cute! The wife helped out a lot. And she was very sweet. Literally the only thing I added to the decor was some of the balloons on the floor. What I appreciate about the play area itself is how clean it was, and how making sure cleanliness is well thought out. Everyone has to wear the brand new socks everywhere, even in the party rooms. And there are even crocs outside of the bathrooms for you to wear inside of them. The play area is made for kids of all ages, it's bright, and I always saw someone spraying and cleaning. There are snacks and drinks for sale, and there's a little seating area with tables and chairs for you to enjoy them. I loved it here! The staff was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to bring my girls back.

Little kid area ball pit that was perfect for 1-3 year olds (babies who can sit up & crawl too) - A child is climbing through a hexagonal play structure and sliding into a ball pit filled with multicolored balls.

Loved everything about this place, the location, how clean it was, the friendliness of the staff and team there. It was perfect for my little one who was only 2 years old. There was plenty for her to get into & explore. There were snacks to purchase as well as drinks. They also have cubbies & lockers to store your items into. The music playing throughout the space wasn't too loud so you could hear what was going on around you. Really great experience overall. Completely worth every cent for hot days, wet days or cold days. Looking forward to host a birthday party inside there soon.

Amazing staff, very clean environment. Also not to big of a place, so it doesn't feel like your child could get lost.

I say that because the play areas are actually taller so parents can join their children in the play area.

Only part that was a bit of a downfall was when you see grown kids running around. I worried that my 2 & 4 year old will get hurt due to this. I booked the colossal 5:45 PM-7:45 PM on January 31,2026 time slot and paid with the expectation of having the FULL HOUR to celebrate. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the previous party was still in the room, and it was not ready for us. We were unable to enter until approximately 7:05-7:10 PM. At that point, the room still needed to be cleaned and decorated, and no children were allowed inside until everything was completed. Food was served around 7:15 7:20PM, and shortly after around 7:29 PM we were asked to if we wanted to do the dance party again since they went and done it already while i was inside the room decorating and settling the party favors, while the children had just started eating. We were then informed that we needed to leave by 7:55 PM because the facility closed at 8:00 PM. As a result, we had less than one hour to actually celebrate, which is not what I paid for or expected. Everything felt rushed, and we lost a significant amount of our scheduled time due to circumstances beyond our control. While I appreciate the offer of a free pass on another day, I do not feel this adequately addresses the situation. The experience and time lost during my daughter's birthday cannot be replaced. I believe this matter deserves further consideration, and I respectfully request fair compensation for the time and value that were not provided as agreed. Most importantly, my daughter was very disappointed, as she did not get to fully enjoy her special day due to the limited time. Never again will I book and reserve a birthday party here for any of my children.

We Rock the Spectrum Review…read more We Rock the Spectrum is an alright place to hang out with my eight-year-old son who has autism and his RBT. It's a sensory-friendly environment, and he's able to move around, play, and regulate in a space that feels welcoming and understanding. I definitely recommend calling ahead to make sure they're not hosting a birthday party. When it's crowded or loud, it can be overwhelming, especially for kids with sensory sensitivities. Overall, it's a good spot on quieter days and can be a nice outlet for kids who benefit from a more inclusive play environment.

We live about equal distance from both, so we decided to try this location today and it was fantastic! The owner was so welcoming and also helpful when we were leaving by offering the kiddos a lollipop if they got their shoes on nicely. We really appreciated being able to stay longer due to the sparse crowd on this rainy day. This location has some items similar to Loudoun, but there are also some differences-the rock wall here is longer, there was a large dome climber that was a hit, there are some different swings, ride on toys, a large tube bouncer , several spinners and balance items, lots of fun pretend play costumes, magnets, bluey toys. There is a zip line and trampoline like Loudoun. The significant difference is that this location is open whereas Loudoun has a closed off infant/toddler area and closed off arts/crafts area. Loudoun also has the teen room in the back. Still trying to figure out which location is larger lol. Both of my kids loved this location as they do the other. We Rock the Spectrum is such an amazing, special place for children of all abilities, and I feel so grateful that we have not one but two relatively close to us. Looking forward to trying to soon to open Pittsburgh location when we visit family later this year.

Our guests were thrilled, especially since we were able to enjoy both indoor and outdoor playtime. It was fantastic watching the kids explore, laugh, and make memories in a space so well designed for fun and connection. We regularly visit Wonder for playdates with our littles, and it never fails to deliver a delightful experience. However, if you are a parent or caregiver by yourself with a stroller, it can be a very difficult experience. There were adults watching me struggle putting down my stroller, gathering my bags, and making sure my 1.5 year old didn't run off as I carried her up the stairs on my hip and my stroller in my other hand. I was surprised that there were multiple people watching me from the window including staff and no one offered to help. Same goes for leaving. Be mindful that there is no ramp, and no automatic doors so it is a very difficult experience when you're alone. This should be "known" because the building is an old Leesburg building. I felt like I could support my toddler safely in it. There were multiple slides, carts to ride down a dolly slide, a soccer field, and all sorts of things. I didn't love the angle on the big pink slide. It seemed dangerous and I saw a young girl hurt herself on it. My son loved taking breaks in the black light space dance room. There are tables and picnic tables and the bathrooms were pretty clean. There were extra things you had to pay even more for like foosball, air hockey, claw machines, motorcycles to ride, and maybe other arcade games. It was $22 which I felt was a little pricey. This review is for the Mad Science Summer Camp ONLY…read more This business is the kind where they find a place to rent out for a few weeks sight unseen *so the venue can be filthy, falling apart, dangerous as in failing equipment, broken down classroom seating and utensils, and they won't know it. Our camp was housed in a filthy and musty public elementary school in a small classroom. This room was too small for the entire group and so all were cramped. The reality was ALARMING that the instructors function as bodies to direct a script but are not truly educators *so you can have a recent college grad with a BA in History teaching your kid "science" and add to that a person not in tune, or give a hoot about kids, how to educate, nurture nor watch over children. Worst of all and YIKES they do not not pay attention nor supervise these kids, they are hands off if any trouble or accidents happen and they do not report injuries to the parents. These instructors are oblivious about harm done to the student and are more worried about having time to get and eat lunch, drinking Starbucks, being on their phones, etc.* SOOOOOO With that as the preface all I can say is do not waste your money because your child will not learn much science. All they will get is a babysitter who pretends to be a teacher, who if you are lucky feigns cheeriness, add to that the other children in the class will not respect the instructor nor their peers and as in the case of my daughter, get physically injured. SO WHAT HAPPENED? An experiment went sideways and my daughters entire back had the skin scraped off while being pulled by a boy to the point that her shirt came up while being pulled the equipment broke, and the skin came off she was left with a raw back, no attention was given and it was bleeding. The instructor kept her mouth SHUT and only when I went to hug my daughter once I picked her up, did she cry out in pain and showed me her entire back was still bleeding. The instructors were gone by then so I had to wait until the next day. I went up to the main instructor the next day and told her it was unacceptable to hide a severe injury such as what my daughter had suffered and all she could muster was "I AM SORRY I HAD NO CLUE ANYTHING HAPPENED" Huh? Aren't they watching a group of 6 and 7 year olds? And there were 2 instructors for the group. I WOULD NOT TRUST ANY MAD SCIENCE SUMMER CAMP AND I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. ***I find it highly unusual that they have such high reviews seems suspicious and why I question every five star review*** it
