Definitely recommend & would come back! I'd say this place is great for kids 5 and under. I brought my two girls (5 & 1) here to play & they both had a blast regardless of the age gap. The facility was clean & also smelled fresh - it was very welcoming! The gentleman at the front desk was very kind, professional and informative as well. They had a great snack station & drinks along with a cute small gift shop area. They host birthday parties as well! Glad Waldorf has a place like this for our little ones finally instead of traveling to larger cities next door to us!

Thank you so much to Mrs Fraizer & Mr Bob for such a beautiful day! Your play centre was absolutely amazing it was our first time there and we absolutely loved it, we will definitely be booking another birthday with you guys in the future it was magical!! Everyone was so lovely , kind, helpful and pleasant to be around!!! Thank you for making our son day so special it meant the world to us! The decorations the cups cakes were so detailed and actually thought about and I felt your beautiful spirit and heart put into it. I Would recommend your play centre to anyone! We look forward to celebrating Kylins 4th Birthday with you guys! Gloria Hughes

The cutest, cleanest, friendliest play place and we finally have one in Waldorf. Customer service is so friendly and helpful, the atmosphere is so aesthetic and cute. I caught myself getting caught up in imagination play with my 3 year old! We had a blast. All the little touches in here so adorable!

This play place is absolutely amazing! It is like a little world made just for kids, with so many fun and creative areas to explore. Your child will love pretending to be a firefighter in the mini fire station, running the grocery store, and styling hair in the kid-sized salon. The attention to detail in each space is incredible. It really sparks the imagination and keeps little ones entertained for hours. What stood out to me most was how clean and well-maintained everything is. You can tell the staff really takes pride in keeping the play areas safe and welcoming. Speaking of the staff, they are wonderful, friendly, attentive, and so great with children. It is rare to find a place that combines this level of fun, creativity, and professionalism. If you are looking for a place where kids can learn, play, and pretend while parents have peace of mind, this is the perfect spot. We will definitely be coming back again and again!

I love that we finally have a unique place for children in the area! I brought my niece and nephew on grand opening day and they did not want to leave. The owners are beyond professional and you can tell they took their time in making this space safe and fun for children. They also offer party packages that do not disappoint, definitely a one stop shop for children's parties. If you're looking for a black and family owned business that caters to children this the place for you!

Could have saved half the cost by just buying for 2 kids. You definitely don't need more than an hour either. It's really loud, so it's not great for autistic or sensory sensitive kids. My kids don't enjoy water directly in their face, and there's nowhere to go that doesn't have water landing directly in your face. There's nowhere for adults to sit, and it's a small room so there's residual splashing everywhere; wear pool shoes even if you don't go on the play structure and are just supervising the kids. During the 5-minute breaks once per hour, it would be nice if you could use the adjacent pool I but it was occupied with aquatic sports teams. Staff were very friendly, and the overall sports/rec facility looks huge and very clean. Locker rooms were very clean as well. For our family, however, it just wasn't worth the price paid nor was it the type of water park that would work for older kids or autistic kids.

I am writing with some concerns about the way my family was treated by your staff on Saturday morning at the Alexandria location. First, let me share that my wife and I discovered Scramble at Christmastime, and have now been several times to both the Alexandria and Falls Church locations. I felt we had discovered a true gem - a place where we could retreat with our now two-year-old for a morning or afternoon of fun. The whole environment is designed for fun, and I appreciated how inclusive things felt, as we interacted with your staff and strangers with smiles all around. But our visit on Saturday left us feeling unwelcome, embarrassed, and like second-class citizens. We visited the Falls Church location a few weeks ago and asked about birthday options outside of hosting a party, because we envisioned a very small gathering. The staff member there explained that if you do not book the birthday package, you cannot bring in outside cake or balloons and that we would only be able to purchase food from you all. Got it - all good! We invited two friends and their little ones to gather with us on Saturday morning, we paid the entry fees for everyone who joined, and we ordered a few pizzas to enjoy while our little ones ran around. We were first approached by your staff member, Cora, shortly after receiving our food. She came to our table and told us to move the two tables that we had pulled together apart. Her approach was curt - she didn't start by explaining any rationale for what the issue was - she simply gave us the directive. I asked her if she was serious because of the tone - I was honestly surprised - and then she explained that it was a fire hazard. So we moved the tables apart and returned to our fun. About twenty minutes later, while we were all away from the tables where our belongings were sitting, Cora approached again. This time, she snatched a gift bag while my wife was nearby. She told my wife that gifts were not allowed, and proceeded to move it outside of the play area. I intervened to ask her what the issue was, and she explained that we could not have a gift without having a party. I then went to the front desk and spoke with her and the party manager for a while to ask what the issue was and to share that I felt like we were being targeted because we had two separate interactions, and none of this was explained when we checked into the venue. We are not rule-breakers. I am fastidious in honoring the rules of any space I enter. My wife jokes about me being too straight-laced. I understand that Scramble has rules, and have no desire to work around them. I believe that this interaction could have been resolved through a simple dialogue where a member of your staff could have politely shared the policy and asked us to make a shift. Instead, we felt like delinquent teenagers, and the experience was deeply embarrassing and off-putting. Our guests, visiting for the first time after our rave reviews, wondered what the issue was. After Cora removed the gift bag without approaching us to explain things, I felt unwelcome and uneasy about even staying. I felt the message she sent to us was that we were second-class citizens that day - those deserving of respect at your establishment are those who pay a premium for expanded services. And I could not help but wonder if the interactions would be different if half of us were not people of color. I am not sharing this because I seek retribution against Cora. I share this instead, hoping that your establishment can be more considerate of your guests. You say that your mission is to "provide extraordinary play for all children"; I hope you will consider that the environment you create for families has an impact on your ability to attain that mission.

The staff was very nice, and helpful. The young man at the register patiently and kindly split the points I bought into 12 cards. The kids had a lot of fun, some of them had their parents buy the trampoline pass, we did for our son too, only because he was the birthday boy, but honestly, I don't think we would pay 12.00 again only for my son to be jumping lol. It was close to our house so we went often because it was a fun place for them to go. it was ALWAYS packed. My Children are now 25 and 27. I remember as soon as you use to walk in, there was a huge ball pit with connecting tubes and tunnels that kids would climb up up to so they could clim through thr tubes. My Daughter would climb up to the top, get scared and I would send my Son to help her down. Shoes were everywhere because you could not wear your shoes in the ball pit. The sound level was loud but the kids had a good time in a safe place so we dealt with it. Listen. Chuck E. Cheese is different now. First thing I noticed now is there is no large ball pit with the tubes! It took up a lot of space and now it just looks "empty" to me. However, thinking back from a post Covid standpoint, the ball pit was not the most sanitary place as there was no way they could have clean all the balls that were in the pit. I am pretty sure that Covid gave them a new perspective on this. I also noticed there were no long tickets spitting out of the machine when the kids won the games. My kids would get so excited to collect all the tickets so they could turn them if for prizes. Everything is now modern so you swipe a card and it keeps your tickets total so you can cash out and pick your gifts. Again, this is better for the environment as we wasted a lot of paper with the tickets. There are a lot more games for the kids to play but somehow it seemed less packed and quieter then I remember. Chuck E. has changed too. He used to be this huge, imposing figure. He had an escort moving about with him because the kids would mob him. My kids were even scared of him for a time. They would cry and run away when they saw him. Chucky must be on Keto now. He is smaller and slimmer. He came out without an escort and walked around the venue without an escort. The Kids were glad to see him just the same. We ordered pizza and drinks for my Grandson. The pizza is not gourmet but it is as good as I remembered. It was fun for my Grandson and the kids at the restaurant because that is the only Chuck E. Cheese they know. But my Grown Children who were there with my Grandson and use to go to Chuck E. Cheese faithfully in thr past said it definitely is not the same Chuck E. Cheese that they were use to. Sometimes change is just different. My Grandson was happy and that is all that matters.

I love that there are also crafting options, some tables with puzzles as well. In a shopping area so plenty of easy parking. Your child gets to pick a snack at the end which helps with the "I don't want to leave" tantrums Cons: The price is hefty $16 for 1.5 hours. It's hard to get behind this when I can go to a place like me land in chantilly for $10 and unlimited play time with a much bigger space and a lot more to do. The snack helps with that but still, at this price I'll come maybe every other month. At $10, I go every week sometimes multiple times a week. The space is small and they are cleaning while you're playing, in such a small space this feels rude/ puts unneeded pressure on the customer. Especially since they have a gap to clean before the next time slot. Overall: I would come again but not often due to the price. If you have a really crafty kid and only one younger kid I feel the price might become worth it. If you have kids in a spread out age range, or who don't like crafts, or you don't want to deal with the stress of having to be there at a certain time, and leave after just 1.5 hour. There are certainly better options both from an affordability standpoint as well as quality.

This is hands down the cleanest indoor space we've been too and we've been to lots. The staff here were super friendly and regularly cleaning and putting things away. The play space has a town motif with a crafting and art area and then a vehicles, blocks, and dinosaur area. My daughter's favorite was the vet space, followed by the recycling truck. She spent a fair amount of time with the dinosaurs and at the grocery too. We never made it to the play areas on the left side. 90 minutes just really isn't enough time to cover it all if your little spends a long time in one area. I looked online to book play for another weekend and was shocked to see they only offer play 9-1030 on the weekends. I'm a working single mom, child in preschool, and we live in Springfield-essentially the weekend schedule means we won't be able to return without setting out super early. I love the imaginative play concept so I really hope they open a space closer to Fairfax or open up additional weekend play hours.
