As a working parent of a toddler, I really wish more places like this existed! I was able to bring…read moremy daughter here to play, with supervision, while I got some work done and had a coffee on a day my nanny was not available. My daughter had so much fun with the employees and other kiddos! I opted to sit downstairs which is louder, but there is a quiet work/study space upstairs for additional cost. Before we left I also ordered food to go from Shorty's Deluxe. Childcare and food all in one Highly recommend Mulberry Lane for all the parents!

But Mulberry Lane is a notch above bc not only is it a play cafe but there is staff there to watch your lils while you get to go elsewhere within the building whether that's in the lil tables visibly nearby or in one of their neighboring and partnering restaurants. I'd toootally get my kids memberships if we lived nearby. Since we probably would only go weekends for an hour or two, I'm glad there are the options for one time pay or multi hour passes for future use. Since we weren't sure if we'd be back, we gave it a try for one hour. Prices may change but our first time was $18 per child per hour. This may seem high for only one hour, but my kids had fun and my hour without worrying about them or being interrupted was very productive so it was worth it. Staff are friendly. I only wished they had gluten free options for the kiddos to enjoy after their play. Guess we can bring our own next time! :)

27 acres of gorgeous waterfront property, meticulously maintained by the VA Horticultural Society…read more But good luck ever visiting outside of winter, as it has turned into a non-stop wedding venue. The ENTIRE 27 acres is closed to the public (for the entire day) if an event is scheduled. No calendar is online to check availability of the park to the public. The park is also closed on Sundays. Years ago, you could walk in any day, find a bench and take some pictures or paint a watercolor. Now you need a permit to draw a picture! Not kidding. Check the website. I was a member for years. No more.

First, I have to say -- the venue itself is absolutely beautiful…read more Right on the river, surrounded by tons of green space, it made for a gorgeous setting. I was there for my niece's wedding, and the space truly was lovely. So why only two stars? Unfortunately, the management's attitude completely took away from the experience. More than once, guests could clearly hear staff saying, "If all guests are not off the property by the designated time, we'll be calling the police." I don't usually jump to conclusions or assume race plays a role, but when that kind of statement is repeated multiple times -- at a joyful family celebration -- it's hard not to wonder. At minimum, it was rude, unnecessary, and disrespectful to the couple and their guests. By 11 p.m., it was obvious the planner, her team, and family members were working quickly to clear the space. Threatening to call the police on people who were clearly packing up was completely out of line. To make matters worse, we were also expected to empty trash cans in the bathrooms and kitchen -- not exactly what anyone anticipates after a long day celebrating a wedding. The venue gets full points for scenery, but management needs serious work on professionalism and basic customer respect.

Very disappointing experience with Sullivan Place. Management constantly adds unexpected additional…read morecharges that were never clearly explained. Even after moving out, we received a long list of extra fees that seemed unreasonable. Communication with the management is very difficult. They are not willing to work with tenants or offer any flexibility, and it feels like they are always looking for ways to charge more money. Overall, the experience felt very stressful and unfair. I would recommend future tenants to read every detail very carefully and be prepared for many additional charges.

TERRIBLE! 1…read more Residents are FORCED to use a unheard of internet provider at an OUTRAGEOUS cost! 2. Management is rude and often ignores messages from residents not to mention you can never get a hold of anyone to speak to face to face. The General Manager doesn't even give out a direct email address to talk to her! 3. DIRT everywhere! In hallways, and floors not to mention there's trash being thrown all over the trash rooms! 4. Horrible security! Front doors are not very secure. Hardly any cameras anywhere! Security guard plays on his phone all night! 5.. Restricted dog breeds are all over the Community and I receive a unjustified and wrong notice regarding a potential pet in my apartment! 6. Residents are dirty, loud and management does t do anything to rectify the issue! 8. My shower had BLACK MOLD when I moved it and I clean my apartment regularly and is still an issue I'm having to this day! 9. My sink still has black stuff coming out of it as well as my toilet! 10. My washing machine and dryer are old as dirt! I only live here due to the proximity to work! AVOID AT ALL COSTS On a positive note, they do a good job at negotiating a rent increase but it's a struggle to even get that! You'd think that a tenant that's been here for 5 years and is in EXCELLENT STANDING wouldn't have to put up with ridiculous rent increases every year!!!!!
