At the counter there is a display with a nice selection of treats, and they are constantly rotating stock. My close friend that lives in town lost her father last week and I live out of state. I wanted to send her and her family some sweets from some place that felt genuine. I searched through at least 50 bakeries in the Rochester area and I couldn't find one that looked more authentic than Vanilla Lane. Im assuming it was the owner who got back to me so promptly.
