Attended my grandson's birthday party this afternoon (May 14th, 2022) and have to say that all the children had a wonderful time. Yes, the noise level is a challenge for us oldies but it's a great place for kids to get lots of exercise and enjoy a party. I want to give a special 'shout out' to our attendant, Alpha, who was beyond amazing. He spent every minute helping serve pizza, drinks, taking requests from 20 children, managing multiple refills of water plus cleanup and all with patience and politeness seldom seen these days. Management is very lucky to be able to employ this young man because he will go far with his work ethic. read more

My child enjoyed the slides and bounce rooms but the food situation is terrible. Took over 25 minutes for an order of chicken tenders and they still came out raw. When I asked for my money back the manager (Jose) was very hostile. He refused to give refund my money back until I "calmed down". All I wanted to do was leave at this point. I wish the owner knew what terrible managers that are in place. Desperate need of some training. Will not be returning. I recomend Luv To Play in leesburg. Great place. Large area for toddlers that includes an inflatable tree fort and separate spot with "foam" building blocks. There are also several "busy boards" on the walls that my toddler loves. The staff are friendly and the place isn't too crowded. My only complaint is it could be a bit cleaner. It's not too bad though. We have been twice and will continue to go back. read more

I take my kids here sometimes when the weather is bad and they need to burn some energy. They usually have a lot of fun and sleep well later. Go early in the day and there are not as many kids though, but they can play as long as they want so that is a great benefit. read more

Since this place has been open for @ 2 weeks I figured it was time that someone added it to Yelp! I guess I get to have the dubious honor! All I can say is look out Chuck E. Cheese. There's a new sheriff in town and he's sure to be the toast of the neighborhood, at least among the preschool crowd. After days of relentless pleading from the little one, I finally gave in and made a trip down the road to the neighborhood's newest "kidtraction' Monkey Joe's. I gotta hand it to the marketing geniuses at this place. A couple of days before opening, Monkey Joe made a personal appearance at the little one's school, inciting what must have appeared to be a pint size riot. THEN the mysterious Monkey Joe fairies left $5-off coupons in the little one's cubby - sneaky, but effective. All of this led to one inevitable result - a trip to the now famous, Monkey Joe's. Mission accomplished. I'm happy to report that both the little one and I had a great time. Entering the place, you're immediately engulfed by the bright atmosphere where Purple, Yellow, Green and Red dominate the color palate. There's a staff member blocking the play area's only entrance/exit and a booth to the right that's staffed by other employees ready and waiting to get you registered and on your way. I found all of the staff I encountered to be extremely friendly and warm. They were obviously well-suited to be around their pint-sized clientele. More importantly. they seemed genuinely happy to be there. After competing the necessary registration paperwork. I presented the savings certificate I recently purchased from an online local savings site. It was readily accepted and I was provided my 5-visit punch card for my future visits. Easy Peasy. (Did I really just write that?) We were then given matching wrist-bands, to ensure that the little one wasn't allowed to leave with someone else - NICE! Then, we were off and running - literally. I mean, the little one took off for the shoe cubbies. I gotta get in better shape - seriously. The actual play area is filled with a small arcade, multiple bouncy houses, with a special area reserved for the 3 and under crowd - very nice touch. There's also a refreshment center with snacks and goodies for sale and a nice lounge area for the parents, complete with comfy chairs, big screen TV, internet kiosks and free WI-FI. Oh, and there are a few party rooms that can be reserved for birthday celebrations, etc. I love, love, love that there are referee-type staff members (attired in black & white shirts) stationed at each of the bouncy houses to either keep the peace or give a leg up to a little one that can't quite climb up on his/her own. The general manager, Karen, was also on hand. She was busy taking the man himself "Monkey Joe" around to meet and take pics with his adoring fans or she was talking with the parents, making sure everyone was having a great time, or she was overseeing the staff as they cleaned and wiped down the arcade games, tables, etc. Really, really nice. All in all, I highly recommend this Monkey Joe's. It's supposed to cater to the 12 and under crowd, but I suspect that the preschool and early elementary school-age kids will especially want to flock here. With the friendly staff and parent-friendly touches, I've no doubt that I'll be a regular here in no time. :-) read more

I still really like this place, but I'm a little bummed at our last experience. MJ's was nearly deserted when we arrived, and we were psyched. The staff was, as always, very friendly (this is a unique feature that I really appreciate). One employee was cleaning the toddler area (again, cool). But a couple things... There still were long, black hairs all over the toddler play area. Since they just opened for the day, they clearly had been there since the previous day. A good swiffering would take care of that. I was feeding my toddler snacks at a table, took a bite of his food, and pulled a long black hair out of my mouth. I almost threw up on the table. That damn hair was everywhere. It was like a scene from The Ring. The few older kids that were there all were playing on the same inflatable castle. I noticed kids were jumping down from a half wall. The employee standing nearby said that she usually stops the kids from doing that, but it's just these boys in the place, and.... I told my 4-yo to watch out, picked up my toddler and sat at the table where I could see my 4-yo. No more than 20 seconds later, he is screaming bloody murder. He hurt his ankle. The employee had left as I sat down and was already over by the snack bar. I crawled into the bouncy house to retrieve him. Thankfully, his ankle wasn't broken, and the employee was very nice about it, but................ Safety and cleanliness are the main things I'm looking for, here. Kind of skeeved. ============================== Love it! Both my 1- and 4-year-olds loved this place. It was clean, bright, safe, and a ton of fun. I liked the tables and the fact that you could bring outside food. The games are all fun for preschoolers and it's not too expensive. I really wish we lived closer! The lady who was working in the afternoon was great. I really enjoyed talking to her and appreciated her enforcement of the toddlers-only area. I LOVE this place! We always have such a good time when we go! The facility is bright and clean and the staff is polite and helpful. It is such a good sized place it doesn't seem overly crowded even when there are s ton of people there. They have a fantastic three and under area that my daughters really enjoyed. Very clean. Well maintained. Large spaces for kids to run around and play. I have a 2.5 and 4.5 year old kids and they had friends come and played for hours with limited needs from me (win!) One word: pandemonium. We came on a Saturday morning with my 2 & 4 year old. This place was like a moon bounce meets Chuckie Cheese. Kids running around everywhere, adults carrying cakes & pizza to the birthday rooms, Monkey Joe bumping into everyone, tokens flying, drinks spilling, missing socks, you name it. I really don't suggest a single parent of multiple kids come here without another parent to field accidents and manage the kids. Admission is $13 for 3 and up; fortunately my 2 year old was only $7. There is the lone moon bounce for 2 and under, that one worker literally kicked my 4 year old daughter out of. Is it that serious? Actually, I found all of the workers manning the bounce houses to be a bit overkill. Can we please let our kids figure out their lives for themselves? I mean honestly. If they can't climb over the inflatable wall then they'll either try harder or go on something else. A lot of the workers were really getting too involved and intertwined in what all the kids were doing....and that was annoying from a parents perspective who want to teach their children to be capable. Like Chuckee Cheese and Kid Junction, the meat of this place is in their arcade and token-based games, which means more money for mom & dad! Can we please find a place for under 20 freaking bucks to spend our Saturday mornings?! Seriously. For being just as chaotic as Chuckee Cheese, and two times more expensive and farther out, why would I come here again?? Chuckee Cheese has free admission and you only pay for games. I really liked this place. It's clean, varied, entertaining & was not painfully crowded when we went. If u have kids under 3, it's great cause they have a separate area for them to avoid getting crushed by the bigger kids. There seemed to be a variety of bounce house structures so in theory your kid wouldn't get bored quickly. I liked that the place had lots of windows & was well-lit. The bounce houses are in great shape too. Not tattered & dirty like other places we've been. Birthday parties aren't the best. The rooms are pretty tight. The piñata situation was def very worrisome. I have a 3 and 4 year old. We have been invited to about 7 birthday parties her from preschool and neighbors. My kids LOVE it! Although the parties are busy with open play and multiple parties on the weekend, the fact that you do not have to leave after 2 hours of party time is awesome! Monkey Joe's is an awesome place to take your children. They have games suited for the younger children. My daughter's favorite is the rubber ducky prize machine. It doesn't get too crazy in there... or I have been lucky :) The staff are friendly and engaged with the children. The temperature is comfortable... I have been at other inflatable locations and it was unbearably hot! It is kept very clean. Monkey Joe makes his rounds and has themes for holidays, one time he was looking like a turkey. Birthday parties we have attended were done well. They keep their Facebook page updated especially for notification of private events.. this is a must for people like me who live a distance away. They also do exceptional kids nights for special needs kids... that is awesome in itself. I only wish I lived closer to take my daughter more often. read more

This is one of those places where I can't believe I haven't reviewed it already. I took my son here for the first time when he was maybe not quite 2, and even then there was a lot he could do. Since he's older now, he can do pretty much everything and the value is even better. It's clean, the employees are nice, you don't have to worry about taking your eyes off your purse to help your kid climb something or whatever. We just used up the last visit on our 10 visit multipass, and I'll buy another next time. The club-pack is a good deal. They have a good assortment of slide, bounce and obstacle course type inflatables. I've never seen anything there be out of order. The one thing I wish was that there were less video games. It's easy for a kid to get distracted by the presence of video games playing in demo mode, so they can pretend they're playing themselves. read more

I was a bit nervous since I've never been here before but was looking for an indoor bounce house to burn some extra energy. My daughter and her friends had a blast! My only recommendation is smaller t-shirt sized for smaller kids for the birthday gift and it would be nice to purchase your own pizza. My 4 year old son LOVES Monkey Joes. Good variety of bounce houses, not too many choices which can be overwhelming to this age range. Every thing is very clean, including restrooms and theres adequate supervision. A previous reviewer talked about the place "not being good for babies that don't jump or walk around" .... well, duh!?!? There is a under 4 yrs old section but really, this is a place for kids 2+ years old, not infants. We've been to two birthday parties here and the only feedback I have is that teenage party leaders aren't the best at organizing large groups of kid. The party leader really needs to speak loudly and be firm when there are 15 bouncing 4 year old boys around..... boys are boys! This is a nice place to go on a rainy day. read more

Took my daughter here after her recent discovery of inflatable jumping toys. All in all, not a good experience for her. I'll summarize by saying this location needs some better management. Inflatables were well worn. Appeared to be clean but not in the best condition. Staff were generally disengaged from the goings on. There was a significant lack of supervision, by staff or parents. (Agree with another yelper review "Where are your parents?!" after one kid decided to try to climb up a slide as mine was going down and caused a collision....). The snack bar didn't have many offerings for parents (we're literally a captive audience). The side games/arcade appeared to be overpriced with no change/non refundable "game cards" that you had to buy and load with funds...and buy for a fee. Pros: -Any time is free bounce/play time. No annoying "appointment only" or "scheduled" play time. -Price during the weekend for a kid 3 and under $7 is reasonable (but $13 for 3 and up) -Looked to be a generally fun place for kids, particularly above 3. -There was an under 3 area, sorta -Free wifi Cons: -Unsupervised play causing several inflatable slide collisions; no staff or parent engagement -Inflatables were well worn, in some cases slippery and had deflated entry points -Under 3 area was unsupervised, resulting in older kids and rough play going in inflatables that were supposed to be reserved for little ones -Under 3 area was quite small -Snack bar needs more options, especially for parents -Prices a bit high ($13) for above 3 general admission read more

This is a great place for parties or if your child just wants to release some energy. There are areas for younger children as well as older and more adventurous. I definitely recommend Monkey Joe's. Some of the bounces could use a little tlc, as the worn areas scratched my son on two separate visits. Not major scratches, but nevertheless that could be a problem for other families. I would suggest downloading the app and getting a free pass before making this a go-to place. The positives: nice customer service, and not so large that it's overwhelming. Clean for the most part, and they give you socks if you forget them. A really fun slide that I even enjoyed. The negatives: most of the bouncies are on their last leg and you can feel the air coming out. They need to be replaced ASAP. The toddler area is just sad - some mats, balls and a bunch of bored parents on their phone. My 20 month old ran outta there and straight to the large slide. If you're trying to accompany your little one on the larger rides, the entry flap is way too small. Go here to check it out as it can be a fun couple of hours but it not a place you can spend more than 2 hours as it gets boring. Also, wear long sleeves as the mats can burn on the slide. read more

This was our third time having a birthday party and is probably the last one. We really liked MJs but they are obviously not offering the same quality of service as in previous years. It seemed as they had overbooked the place. It was so packed, you could barely walk in between all the people. We had originally requested a party for 16 kids but many guests cancelled last minute due to the weather so we had to downsize. Our host was very sweet and helpful but she obviously needed help. We used to have two people helping us with our party but this time we only got one. They forgot our drinks and I ended up cutting and serving pizza and cake for my guests because the girl left. She also took the cake knife and I had to cut the cake with a fork. We paid a lot of money so they could do that for us. When Monkey Joe came to the room to wish our kid happy birthday, one of the little guest spilled soda on the shirt he brought as a gift. He didn't make it a big deal, so I didn't either. He left and got another shirt for my kid. Before our party ended, a lady who I assume was the manager came to the room and asked me if I had been given a new shirt. I told her yes, and she said that we shouldn't have been given a new shirt, that Monkey Joe was not allowed to give new shirts because a little guest had spilled soda on it and it wasn't their fault. Seriously lady? We have spent over $1,000 at MJs between all the parties and all the times we have been there so the kids can play. You are telling me MJs can't afford to give out one shirt because the original got soda on it? I told the lady she could keep the shirt, she tried to play it nice and tell me I could have it but by then I was so annoyed I just wanted my party to be over so we could leave that place. If you are a manager your job is to keep your clients happy, not upset them over a inexpensive shirt and be so mean about it. The pizzas didn't taste that good either so it gave us more reasons to find another place to host the next birthday party. Took advantage of the Groupon they offered and it was great. Filled out the waiver for my kids, got the wristbands and let the kids go play. This place can get quite crowded on the weekends, but what indoor kid place doesn't? There are attendants at each bounce attraction, so that helps with safety. When the place is crowded, the attendants form lines for the kids and won't allow them in until another child comes out. The separate section for kids 3 and under is a good thought and they also have a bunch of arcade games with a prize counter. Good experience, but only worth the drive if you live nearby. Otherwise, it's pretty typical of any other indoor playground/bounce house and would rival your closest play place. read more

Eh! So I came here on a Saturday with my son for a birthday party for a classmate of his. It is a pretty large establishment compared to some of the other bounce houses in the area. They do sell food and there are a few games which we didn't play. Oh and they cheap socks at the bargain price of $2.00 plus tax just incase you forget yours! ;) So basically Moneky Joe's has open play and mulitiple birthday parties going on at the same time. They have 4 party rooms which are private. So the food portion (pizza and cake) are private but the boucing is with everyone else (other parties and open bounce). I felt like I personally wouldn't want my kids to have a party here as it doesn't seem very personable or private with having open play and other parties going on at the same time. That being said my little guy had a blast while he was here. So I guess it doesn't matter to the kids. One perk was that you could stay as long as you wanted even after the party was over. Although after being there for an hour and forty five minutes I was done and ready for a nap. Overall, it was okay. I would love to come back during the week (while parties are not likely going on...just open bounce) with my 4 year old daughter and see how she likes it. read more

My kids love this bounce house facility. They keep it reasonably well maintained and a good security checkpoint to keep the kiddies from wandering out, and others from wandering in. Prices are reasonable. They have a separate play area for kids under 4 which is much appreciated as the bigger bounce houses can get a little rough when big kids are geronimo-ing down the slides. They have basic concessions and some arcade games that can spit out tickets used to redeem for cheap toys, alot like Chuck E. Cheese. Its a nice diversion for kids on rainy/snowy days. read more

I have a 3, 5, and 7 year old (all about to turn 4,6,8), and they like it here, but they are definitely starting to outgrow it. About 2 years ago, it would keep them busy for hours. In addition to the bounce houses/slides they have arcade games, but you have to load money onto a card in order to play them. Also, make sure your kids wear socks because they are required. You can purchase them there if you forget though. There's a bounce house and play area only for kids 3 and under so that's nice if your coming with younger kids. You can order whole pizzas here which we have done several times, and my kids say it's pretty good. Overall, a fun place to burn off some energy on those cold, rainy days. read more
