Kids Plaza exceeded my expectations! My 6 year old asked to go to an indoor gym and Kidz Plaza was the closest to our current location. We were greeted with a warm welcome and quick intro to rules. $11.50 for playtime. I was asked to sign a waiver/registration. Kidz Boppy music was on. I noticed KP has sectioned play areas, sectioned area with tables/chairs to lounge + wifi, huge multi story indoor playground, moon slide (caution! it's steep), restrooms, toy/snack purchase counter. During our visit there were a couple of kids already present, and several others arrived, which was nice for my daughter to meet and play with.

I've wanted to check out Kidz Plaza since pre-Covid days and finally decided to take the trek out to Ashburn about a month ago with my son on a weekday. The entry price is reasonable and there was no time limit enforced. It was pretty empty the entire time we were here, which was about 3 1/2 hours. My son loved the inflatables, particularly the tall vertical ones. The mini ball pit with the twisty slide was a hit as was the trampoline. There were soft play areas. I was just really surprised at the lack of cleaning and sanitizing particularly given all the little toys in the toddler area. My advice is to watch your kid and handle your own cleaning. The location is odd too if trying to grab lunch as it's in an industrial area. I don't know if I'd necessarily visit again but it was worth checking out to have the knowledge of what I'm not missing out on.

    He LOVED the ball pit!

With it being so hot and I really needed a break from spending so much time outside with my little one. He had a blast at Kidz Plaza ! My son was able to make friends and enjoyed the toy area aside from the inflatable's. There lots of seats around the play area so you can keep a close eye. Certainly worth the entry price. I spoke with the owner and she was so kind and friendly ! My son couldn't stop talking about Kidz Plaza on the way home . We can't wait to come back !

Hands down, the best place to take my girls out for some exercise. The place is clean, prices are reasonable, and the owner is great. Thank you so much for opening in this crazy covid time, it was nice to have activities for my little ones.

I don't understand why people LOVE to complain about small things they don't Like ... i been here at least 25 times i have Zero (0) complaints ZERO . My daughter (3yo) love this place.. is funny reading some comments of people who don't like something and asking for Refund pls People don't be cheap . I been over others indoor playgrounds and have a bad experience but never ask for Refund so you don't like you can go and look for somewhere can accommodate you high standards.. :) cheers

Humid and nasty hot in here.

The best place in Ashburn for younger kids IMO, and you don't have to chase your kids all day because it's not in an enormous warehouse...

My son loves all the activities here. He actively plays for hours. And no video games there!! That's the best. No whining!

Clean, fun environment for children on hot summer days. Forgot to bring socks and they had some for a minimal purchase price.

I love that there are also crafting options, some tables with puzzles as well. In a shopping area so plenty of easy parking. Your child gets to pick a snack at the end which helps with the "I don't want to leave" tantrums Cons: The price is hefty $16 for 1.5 hours. It's hard to get behind this when I can go to a place like me land in chantilly for $10 and unlimited play time with a much bigger space and a lot more to do. The snack helps with that but still, at this price I'll come maybe every other month. At $10, I go every week sometimes multiple times a week. The space is small and they are cleaning while you're playing, in such a small space this feels rude/ puts unneeded pressure on the customer. Especially since they have a gap to clean before the next time slot. Overall: I would come again but not often due to the price. If you have a really crafty kid and only one younger kid I feel the price might become worth it. If you have kids in a spread out age range, or who don't like crafts, or you don't want to deal with the stress of having to be there at a certain time, and leave after just 1.5 hour. There are certainly better options both from an affordability standpoint as well as quality.

This is hands down the cleanest indoor space we've been too and we've been to lots. The staff here were super friendly and regularly cleaning and putting things away. The play space has a town motif with a crafting and art area and then a vehicles, blocks, and dinosaur area. My daughter's favorite was the vet space, followed by the recycling truck. She spent a fair amount of time with the dinosaurs and at the grocery too. We never made it to the play areas on the left side. 90 minutes just really isn't enough time to cover it all if your little spends a long time in one area. I looked online to book play for another weekend and was shocked to see they only offer play 9-1030 on the weekends. I'm a working single mom, child in preschool, and we live in Springfield-essentially the weekend schedule means we won't be able to return without setting out super early. I love the imaginative play concept so I really hope they open a space closer to Fairfax or open up additional weekend play hours.

My son kept repeating the phrase on the wall "the first playground where I never have to say sorry" or something to that effect. He had a huge smile on his face the whole time and it was so amazing to watch him have fun in a sensory safe, calm environment. For most of the visit, it was just me and my two kids so not too noisy which can be a barrier at indoor playgrounds at times for us. He did not want to leave to go home and that's rare for him! Open play is $22/child with $20/ additional siblings for two hour time slots that can easily be reserved online. Typical open play is Sunday 10am-6pm and Friday-Saturday 10am-7pm. Memberships are also available. The gym includes suspended equipment with various types of swings, crash mats and pillows, a zip slider, a trampoline, a small Mario-themed climbing wall, monkey bars, a climbing mountain, a rope bridge, a hammock swing, and a rolling bar slide. Outside of the equipment, there are imagination stations-a vet, a doctor, construction, a kitchen, and a Target store playset. Also a train set and an exercise bike. Lots of various balls scattered about and a separate area for infants and toddlers with lots of toys and a small slide. There is also a separate arts and crafts area and a book nook. In a separate room-the teen room-is a basketball game and air hockey plus lots of puzzles and games and additional sensory squares. Many indoor playgrounds become overwhelming for one of my kiddos and a unique feature here is a calming room with soft lights, weighted blankets, and large pillow chairs. The staff was so kind and helpful too. They were cleaning regularly and offered treats to the kids when they were upset our two hours were up. I wish there was a closer location but this is an amazing resource and we will visit again soon (as in tomorrow)!

However, within minutes, it became clear that this facility is dangerously understaffed and falling apart. My biggest concern is safety. The few staff members present were completely checked out. Instead of monitoring the equipment, they were grouped together looking at their phones. This was terrifyingly apparent on the high ropes course. I watched a young boy climb a set of pillars nearly 15 feet in the air before the attendant finally looked up from her phone to intervene. In an environment like this, that level of negligence is unacceptable. The facility itself looks ok at first glance but is in disrepair. Large strips of rubber were falling off the warped wall, and the general maintenance is appalling. I've attached a photo of the stairs where the lighting fixtures have been ripped out, leaving exposed wiring hanging open right where kids are walking. Between the distracted staff and the crumbling infrastructure, this place is a liability. It feels unsafe and frankly needs to be shut down before a child gets seriously hurt. We will not be returning.
