The best place in Ashburn for younger kids IMO, and you don't have to chase your kids all day because it's not in an enormous warehouse...

Definitely a cheap kids play place. If coming here don't expect much. The owners runs off frequently. It's a one man ship so there is practically no one ever running the front. I had several parents come in and ask me where the lady was and she was missing for like 15-20 minutes. Their are signs plastered everywhere on the walls , making the place look like a trash can. The biggest disappointment is she picks and chooses who can bring outside food in and eat. I was told I couldn't eat and had to eat outside with my kids on the curb after we have been coming here for years on and off. However I witness a whole tea party with several people eating and drinking at the tables and she allowed it. It's a whole broken system. Of course the kids like coming here because they can run around and go crazy with practically no rules, but as a parent I don't recommend this place. read more

This space is great space but gets too crowded with 30 kids, but sign says 127 kids allowed. The playground is dangerous. Placement of swing and rope courses too close. Blow up bouncy castle with wall climb and slide too steep. Has a caution sign near it, but that does not do it justice. Kids jumping from 10' off it or landing on tail bone. This place is waiting for lawsuit. They do make you sign a waiver but I would suspect it has no insurance when they get sued. Here for a birthday. Will not be back. read more

Do NOT use this place for a party. The owner is extremely rude and doesn't care if your child gets sick. They stole the $150 deposit that I made, and when I requested to make an exception due to my child being very sick, they refused and talked in a very condescending manner. They even charge $50 to reschedule. Hyper Kidz is a much better place for Kids birthday parties. STAY AWAY from this place for birthday parties. read more

Kids Plaza exceeded my expectations! My 6 year old asked to go to an indoor gym and Kidz Plaza was the closest to our current location. We were greeted with a warm welcome and quick intro to rules. $11.50 for playtime. I was asked to sign a waiver/registration. Kidz Boppy music was on. I noticed KP has sectioned play areas, sectioned area with tables/chairs to lounge + wifi, huge multi story indoor playground, moon slide (caution! it's steep), restrooms, toy/snack purchase counter. During our visit there were a couple of kids already present, and several others arrived, which was nice for my daughter to meet and play with. read more

I've wanted to check out Kidz Plaza since pre-Covid days and finally decided to take the trek out to Ashburn about a month ago with my son on a weekday. The entry price is reasonable and there was no time limit enforced. It was pretty empty the entire time we were here, which was about 3 1/2 hours. My son loved the inflatables, particularly the tall vertical ones. The mini ball pit with the twisty slide was a hit as was the trampoline. There were soft play areas. I was just really surprised at the lack of cleaning and sanitizing particularly given all the little toys in the toddler area. My advice is to watch your kid and handle your own cleaning. The location is odd too if trying to grab lunch as it's in an industrial area. I don't know if I'd necessarily visit again but it was worth checking out to have the knowledge of what I'm not missing out on. read more

My son loves all the activities here. He actively plays for hours. And no video games there!! That's the best. No whining!

With it being so hot and I really needed a break from spending so much time outside with my little one. He had a blast at Kidz Plaza ! My son was able to make friends and enjoyed the toy area aside from the inflatable's. There lots of seats around the play area so you can keep a close eye. Certainly worth the entry price. I spoke with the owner and she was so kind and friendly ! My son couldn't stop talking about Kidz Plaza on the way home . We can't wait to come back ! read more

I typically don't write reviews but felt like I had to on this one. I brought my son on a play date here. I will say he had a great time however, the place was not sanitary and very unclean. The front desk was cluttered with many items, it seemed like only one staff member was working there. I could barely find a place to put our shoes and coats. The sitting area was very small and noticed dirty tables (food leftover, goldfish all over tables and empty water bottles) not picked up. I also found no visible trash cans to place trash. Also, crumbs and food all over the floor. The walking area was littered with toys and balls, and as the children would run by it looked like a hazard because if one of them tripped on them they would have been injured pretty bad. The bathroom also smelled TERRIBLE, not sure if it had been cleaned at all for a couple of days also with no paper towels to dry hands. The ventilation was very poor, very stuffy and warm. I really don't like writing bad reviews but felt compelled to do so over the uncleanliness of this playroom. I visited Kids Plaza twice within a two week period. My first day there I leaned on the barrier that separated the tables from the main entrance and noticed there was a lot of dust, so much that it left dust all over the sleeve of my black shirt. I didn't think too much about it then as I figured maybe she was mostly cleaning high traffic area where the kids play. But wouldn't the entrance be a high traffic area? Anyway we went on about our day there. During snack time, we sat at the corner table. My daughter dropped some of her crackers. I thought I picked them all up. The following week, we sat at the same table and my daughter once agin dropped some of her snacks and spilled her juice. I went to the worker and she gave me paper towels and wipes to clean it up. Im literally on the floor cleaning up her juice and I notice the same crackers that my daughter dropped last week. I also killed a spider and destroyed its large web. Once I was done wiping, the paper towel was filthy. I was so shocked by this especially with COVID and especially with this pace advertising its cleanliness. They really should be reported. In the hours that we spent there, the worker only got up twice and that was to yell at the kids for throwing the balls out of the ball pit. She didn't clean not once. I also witnessed her snatching a toy from a child who simply picked up the toy while waiting for his sibling to put on their shoes. Yes it was after closing but you don't snatch toys from children. The poor kid cried until they left. The worker, also became really upset and was very unprofessional in how she was speaking to parents after noticing chips on the floor near the play areas. She was very very rude. It's no wonder this place is typically empty. After everything I witnessed in just two visits I will not be bringing my child back to this place. read more

A year ago this place would have had a 4-5. Not anymore. It's a good 90 degrees in here and sticky. One employee who is too busy shopping for panties on her Mac, I know this because I saw her screen. One inflatable sitting on the ground deflated. It's just a complete mess here, total chaos. I am not sure if they are under new ownership or management but this is the last time I am coming here. Checked out this indoor place place/bounce house fo kids today. It was okay. They just opened pretty recently. $10 per child- siblings were $8 for two hours of play. They gave me a frequent visitor card where you can get stamps at each visit. He only putone stamp on mine and when I asked if it should be one stamp or two since I have two kids and he said "1 stamp since I will have both kids with me each time." But will I really have two kids with me each time? Not sure if he really had thought that out yet. When you enter they gave you stickers with the time for exit and your child's name on each sticker and then your sticker had both kids names on it as well as exit time. So they have this HUGE indoor playground system. It was nice...but almost a little too big if that makes sense. Having two kids it was hard to see in all of it and unfortunately since I have not figured out how to clone myself II can't be in two places at once. They had balls at the end of the slide as well as a small ball pit (only for kids under 5). I am wondering how they plan to keep the balls clean. Also compared to other indoor playgrounds/bounce houses I felt there was more to get hurt on. For example they have a big blue bounce with a surf board in the middle that I am asssume moves with the control board there. Just seems like an accident waiting to happen with little kids as I could see a kid falling and bumping their head on the surfboard. Also, there is a trampoline in the indoor playground which is neat and novel...but once again I worry a little about the safety. Not sure I would come back or not as I feel like I need to be a mother hen and chase two kids around making sure they play safely. I feel at some of the other indoor play places I can keep an eye on them a little easier and I don't feel like there is as much eqiupment at the other play houses that my kids could potentially get hurt on. read more

That said, a few reasons I will not be going back: 1) way too crowded! 2) The seating is terrible cause you can't see your kids from the cafe. 3) don't like that there is no security at the door so anyone could walk out with your kid. 4) the place just looks messy. We love this cozy play area for our kids and have been going to this place since last 3-4 years. What I liked the most is that no matter how crowded this place becomes it doesn't turn out wild and loud hence difficult to look for your kids. The play equipment is neat and clean and very much age appropriate. Last month, we celebrated our daughter's 6th birthday here and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. They took care of everything, our guests were really pleased and kids had a blast. The best part for me is that they let us bring our own food(Pizza/wings) from outside vendor. read more

Although they claim this is a place for children of all ages, do not take your children here if they are under 3 years old. They have a toddler area, but it is a complete mess. There were small toys that my toddler could swallow and we found stale snacks hidden everywhere (my toddler tried to eat several stale goldfish that had probably been there for a week). There is also no management of this toddler area. Five and six year old kids were running around this "small child area" and almost trampled my child several times. I spent the whole outing making sure my toddler wasn't going to get hurt. The place was also very crowded and loud. I will not be going back. read more

Hosted a private party for my daughter's 6th birthday party, and all of the kids had a blast! Many compliments from the parents saying they like the size of the playground and how they're able to see their kids rather than running around looking for them. I liked that they had seating areas and 3 sections for smaller kids. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and helped with setting up the party room for the kids. read more

So disappointed in this venue. My child didn't even get a chance to play. The plaza was over filled with children. Not the kids fault. The venues fault for allowing so many birthday parties at the same time. Had we been told before we paid there was going to be yet another birthday party happening I wouldn't have gone in with my 3 year old. But I was not told that and once I found out I asked for a refund (we had been there for maybe 5 minutes). I've been to a lot of these places and for a parent this one is by far my favorite. The structure in the middle is fantastic and kept my boys happy for hours. The inflatables are great and the additional play areas were excellent for when my boys wanted to cool down a little. The layout it nice with a choke point at the exit so its easy to monitor to make sure your kids aren't making a break for it. The whole place was very clean and I love that there aren't any arcade games here like at other places, I want my boys to run and be active, not play video games. read more

My son has always loved this place. It's our favorite indoor playground. The three story tower is fantastic, everything seems clean, and the price is reasonable. We haven't had a party there, but it seems good for that. The it's a good mix of toys, playground equipment, and inflatables. I only have two complaints. I wish the time allotment was more like 2.5-3 hours instead of just 2. But the biggest problem is that whole they have public WiFi, it's unusable. I've run speed tests every time I've gone, and regardless of whether there's 30 adults there or I'm the only one, I get speeds anywhere between 50-400 Kbps. I always find myself wishing I could text my wife a photo of our son having fun, but it's not possible. read more

My 14month old loves this place. It gets crowded on weekends with birthday parties so I would call ahead if you do not like crowded places (or go during the week). We had my daughter's 3rd birthday party here. It was super organized and the staff was helpful and friendly. Our party coordinator was great. He set everything up, communicated the timeline, and made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be. We had kids from ages 2-7 at the party and they all had a great time. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this place. We met up for a friends son's birthday and I was expecting dirty, loud chaos and actually had a lot of fun. It's basically a large warehouse room with a tunnel fixture, some bouncy slides and a few other kid areas with toys. There are also birthday rooms, but friend was doing cake at her house so we didn't go into any of those rooms. First of all, you will need socks - not just for kids, also for adults. I didn't know this so I paid $1 for socks. Not bad, at least they weren't extorting parents. Didn't seem anywhere good to put a purse (there was a coatrack and open cubbies) so I ended up putting my purse in the car. The website states that they clean the balls in the ball pit often, and they seemed clean enough. No weird grime in the tunnels either, and I climbed through them extensively with DD. The thing I liked best is that the place wasn't crowded feeling. I never felt overwhelmed with kids - and my kid never got pushed around from too many kids in a small area. I was initially worried about her being 3 and the age range going up to 8, but no issues at all. She was fine, and partly I think because the other parents seemed really engaged - not ignoring their kids and actively trying to regulate. DD never had to wait for the big bouncy slide, even on a Saturday! The people who worked there were policing a bit, and I did see them ask an obviously older child (over 10) to come out of the tunnels. There are separate areas where small babies can crawl around and play with toys, but the older kids were running in and out of that section, so parents of babies will have to be v hands-on. This is an older kid's (up to 8) version of Chibis, an indoor play place. A perfect spot for a rainy or cold or too hot day. They have a bouncer, obstacle course bouncer, slide bouncer, and a big slide-ball pit-crawling-trampoline play area in the middle. Thy also have 2 smaller areas set aside for littler kids. Cost is $10 for 2 hours - definitely worth it. They do have some snacks for purchase and a 3-table eating area. Don't forget your socks! read more

My toddler enjoys this place but it could use some dusting as our noses always run when we are there. The climbing structure has a trampoline, slide with a ball pit and nooks and crannies. There is a large inflatable slide, small inflatable slide and another inflatable for the kids to play in. There are 2 sectioned off rooms. 1 for infants and another with ride on toys and toys. Also, we've gone 4 times and each time a few of the toys never had their batteries replaced. Another Mom from our group told the Man upfront working and he stated that they check the batteries on the toys at the end of each week. Ok, well why has it been 4 times since we've visited and they are still not working? Our visits ranged from January-recent so it could not be a coincidence that the same exact toys ran out of batteries. Maybe they are broken? The girl working, Zana?, really hates her job. The toilets were broken, at least 2 unsupervised boys threw 2 foot dinosaurs at my baby, and I asked for my money back. She said she couldn't give me my money back bc I was there for longer than 30 minutes... 32 minutes exactly. In addition to this, she assisted someone who came after me. We had our daughters birthday here and it was incredible! Everything was ready to go when we arrived and the party room was perfect for our daughter and her friends. The owner helped organize the food, cake, drinks and helped us keep the party on track. My daughter and her friends had such a great time playing. They were never bored and couldn't wait to finish eating so they could spend their last 15 minutes in the area. Both the play area and party room were very clean. My daughter LOVES this place and I'm a pretty big fan as well. It's a HUGE play gym and multiple inflatable slides and bounce houses. The prices are reasonable and it's clean. There is a good area for smaller children to play as well. It's great that they have wifi- you could bring an older child here here and still get some work done. My kids like playing here once so I thought this might be a good place to have a birthday party for my 4 year old, what a disappointment! I would not recommend having a party at Kidz Plaza. It started with a total lack of communication. I called a week before to let them know we'd like to order pizza and to give them a head count. The information was taken by someone but then I got a call a day before the party asking if I'd like to order pizza. Our party was from 10-12, I got there at 9:45 so I could bring in the cake and get settled but the teenager opening the place didn't show up until 9:55, didn't say anything to me or my family, unlocked the door and let it shut behind him. We thought that was pretty rude so I just walked in while he was turning the lights on. The party room was not set up, I had to ask him where to put the cake and party supplies and people started to show up at the same time. He was not at the front desk because he was turning lights on and setting up tables so I greeted people and took gifts, having no where to put them my family kept running to the back room with them for me. Then the employee walked past me and said everyone, including adults, has to take shoes off and needs socks. No one told me this prior, only that we needed socks to go on the equipment. So I then had to buy a bag of socks for all the adults. We were suppose to move into the party room at 11:30 but there was no announcement and I noticed the pizza had not arrived yet. I kept asking the employee to check on the pizza and his reply was "I texted my friend, who is the daughter's owner, and she said it's probably on the way." What! I called Manhattan Pizza myself and they said we don't open until 11:00 so there's no way we can make pizzas and deliver them by 11:30. Then why was I even given the option from Kidz Plaza! The pizza finally arrived at 11:45, one family couldn't even stay for cake because they had somewhere to be. They could have given me keys to the place and had no one working there and it would have been been a better experience. The teenager was useless and indifferent. I did call the owner and told him about this situation and he offered me a free entry pass, a whole $10. Gee thanks! Do people not know about social media? Us busy, working moms use these party places to help take some stress out of our lives. This was just as stressful as hosting this party at home. And actually embarrassing for me! read more

Wow, I thought this place was amazing. I am surprised its only gotten 1, 3 star review. It is large, clean, with TONS of stuff to do. What I appreciated, was that in addition to the equipment, ball pits, moon bounces, etc, they had nice toys for all ages (0-8). They had a nice train table, blocks, legos, cash register toys, etc. There is a trampoline within the large structure and a huge slide that dumps out into another ball pit. I took my 6 year old and 2.5 year old and we stayed for 2 hours. They also serve snacks and have a separate area designated to eat. $18 for 2 kids, I thought that was a fair price, considering how well it entertained them. We will be back soon. read more

I created a Yelp account just to review this place, and to describe an incident I witnessed yesterday. I didn't mean to listen but I overheard a woman say "dad" and "hospital" on her phone, and she looked very upset. Her child ran up to her, followed by a very large man who was yelling and badgering her for being on the phone because her child "broke his son's foot." She kept trying to talk to him, but he kept yelling at her and telling her to "Shut up" and that "he didn't want to hear her voice" over and over again. At this point, everyone in the building was witnessing this man who kept screaming at her. Granted, she shouldn't have been on her phone, but kids will be kids and accidents happen. As far as I could see, his son was standing and walking just fine, and didn't appear to even be bothered. I'm a registered nurse, and although I didn't see his foot, I don't think anyone, let alone a child, can walk perfectly fine with a broken foot. I wanted to say something and possibly perform an initial diagnosis, but the man kept acting hysterical and unstable and the woman appeared distraught. My children stopped playing and was asking what's going on. It looked like some other parents were doing the same. We all heard him yell that his son now has to go to the Emergency Room because his foot is " broken." The staff saw the child standing on the shoe cubbies, which had a sign that clearly marked "Do not stand or sit. Will tip over." The child was trying to walk on the shoe cubby, which was wobbling everywhere, and the man blamed his bad balance on the woman and her child. This man obviously overreacted and seemed belligerent and unstable. The staff kept their composure as he kept yelling and cursing at this woman. I was afraid for her. When he left, I approached the woman and let her know that he shouldn't speak to her that way, especially in front of other children. I tried my best to comfort her but I was upset myself. I was hoping the staff would have intervened earlier and ask him to leave to get his son some medical attention (although it doesn't seem like it was necessary). Either way, children will be children. In my eyes, children that don't go out of their way to purposely harm other children. Accidents happen, and that's why we sign that paper to acknowledge it. I tried to get a picture or video of the man, but by the time I fully understand what was happening, it was already too late. Again, the woman probably should have been more attentive to her children, but I don't think a phone would have stopped the accident from happening. If that's the case, then all cell phones should be restricted upon entering the building. I'm now personally afraid to take my children back there, in case that man comes back, and my children accidently "break" something on his son, and end up yelling and screaming at me. I hope he never returns, because I'm sure other humans should not be anywhere near this man. read more
