2nd time since 5yrs ago, (we live far away) still a great experience. I agree with reviews from a few years ago about the salad bar- its weak selection and location in the corner isn't worth the trip. I understand why they maintain it, but they either need to move it to other side of the grill filling station or get rid of it. Contrary to previous reviews, the protein selection was top notch- lamb, korean beef, mid-size shrimp, AAA Beef, chicken etc was fresh and clean. The vegetable were also fresh. The available sauces and spices will cater to all tastes. The grilling station is efficient and well organized. The cooks take pride in their work and their workstation. Restaurant is clean, nice decor and lovely atmosphere. Not sure what the complaints about the bowl size are really about- its all you can eat! You can go up as many times as you want. You can do the same dish over and over or you can make up new dishes to try. I guess people want to make less trips between their table and the grill? Some will say its pricey for all you can eat ($35), but its still way cheaper than Mandarin ($50). The service was quick, friendly and attentive. Alyssa took care of us. She always had bowls available and getting drink refills. Very good experience just like the last time. Hope to go back again earlier than 5yrs from now.

This place is great. Though small aspects are different, it's still the same. Love the live cooking, the fresh ingredients, the good service and staff. It's a place worth going to again.

There's nothing Mongolian about Mongolian Barbecue, which is what this place serves up (it's from Taiwan) but it's still pretty decent. You choose various ingredients and sauces, and they'll be grilled for you. It's all you can eat too. Due to covid-19 there've been some changes - you no longer fill the bowls of stuff to cook yourself, but fill out a sheet of paper and someone will do it for you. This reduces your flexibility. For example you're limited to one protein per order. You can still ask for half portions (so you can try more combinations). Although each bowl comes with a carb (rotini, chow mein or rice noodles), they give you rice and tortillas to eat your fryup with. When I ordered rotini or chow mein I got quite a lot of noodles, but rice noodles was a modest portion. This might be useful if you want to pace yourself. Besides the Mongolian Barbecue, there's also a soup and salad bar, but I had to ask the server about it when I saw it on the way to the washroom. There were 2 soups (chicken noodle and vegetable), the usual salad components, potato salad and coleslaw. The soups were decent, and the potato salad and coleslaw were ok. They have daily specials too. It was Friday and martinis were $7 (usual price $9.50). I had an El nino martini. It was decent - not dilute, though by no means strong. Given the breadth of choices, not all combinations of flavours worked. Though you kind of only have yourself to blame, since you make all the decisions. I had 4 gos at it: Shrimp with rice noodles, bean medley, water chestnut and bamboo shoots, fried with Shanghai and lemon sauces and topped with Mongolian spice, black pepper and mixed herbs was ok. The shrimp were pretty small, but the water chestnut was nice and crunchy and there was quite a lot of it. Marinated beef with chow mein, minced garlic, bean sprouts and diced tomatoes fried with teriyaki and Mongolian Fire sauces, topped with beef spice, mixed herbs and parsley was pretty good. It was overly flavourful, though, possibly since the chow mein soaked up the sauces too well. There was also too much edamame and chow mein. This was the only order I cut with tortillas and rice. Calamari, rotini, tofu, mushroom and edamame fried with szechuan and honey garlic sauces and topped with ginger, lemon pepper and seasoning salt didn't work so well. There was too much rotini and it was too soft. The tofu was a shade too soft for stir frying, and the calamari was a little limp (still okay, but not as firm and fresh as good calamari should be). The sauces were only alright. Turkey sausage, rice noodles, onions, zucchini and diced tomatoes fried with BBQ and lemon sauces and spiced with cajun, oregano and basil worked the best of the 4. The flavours went well together and the ingredients complemented each other. The turkey sausage was much better than expected - it was really tasty.

Date night

last night was date night for my wife and I when we went to Mongolian Grill The food was great. The atmosphere and noise level in the restaurant was great no loud music but what did it for us and why we're writing this review was our server Alyssa number 14 she made the experience great for my wife and I very bubbly and friendly to talk to, I'd like to thank her for a great night Harry Van staveren

I've been to this chain a few times but first time at this location. Was here for a mini party dinner. Restaurant is big and perfect for parties and events with a private dining area on the second floor. This place essentially is an all you can eat stir fried noodle / rice place. You basically choose any meats, seafood and various veggie toppings along with your favorite sauces and seasoning to add that extra flavor to your liking. They even offer Halal Chicken as a selection. Food gets tossed into a hot stir fried grill by a chef and cooked right in front of you. Not only do you get a nice selection of all you can eat noodles but also if you have a sweet tooth, they offer a wide selection of desserts for very reasonable prices. FYI the cheesecakes are right from Cheesecake Factory! They even offer daily specials including Weds $5 desserts and Thurs Family Day 25% discounts. Service is amazing and very friendly staff. Will definitely return in the near future.

Came back to Mongolian Grill with my family and had a better experience. I had a better understanding of how it works and so my meals were delicious.

Under new ownership. Came here for the first time after passing by a number of times and had a great experience. Being able to mix and made your own dishes is great. You can even pick your sauce and from a number of different spices. Best of all, it's all you can eat.

Food: buffet style food. At Mongolian grill, you are your own chef. Build you own bowl with your proteins (halal), veggies, carbs, sauce and spices then sit back and enjoy the show! This locations offers cheesecakes from the Cheesecake Factory! They offer some amazing dessert options. My favourite is the vanilla cheesecake AND the dessert waffles (the waffles are crunchy and comes with huge scoops of creamy ice cream). They also offer a variety of specialty latte: turmeric, beetroot and matcha.

The food was alright! Confusing menu, and the server did not help us understand how to order. We had to ask for rice multiple times because the portion is quite small. The server was really nice and great though! The food could be better.

I wish they had someone replacing tongs with clean ones. Soup looked really bad and salad bar was very sad.

The live table games are in the middle of the casino like blackjack, roulette, stadium games. There's a food hall outside and 3 restaurants inside. I believe the Casual restaurant serves American food like burgers, Nashville chicken sandwiches, fish n chips. The Sun Sui Wah is a chinese restaurant. The prices are on the high end. My review will be the casino itself and The Arena, the concert hall at this casino. Last Saturday, Jann Arden played The Arena. It would be my first time visiting this casino and concert venue. I had dinner roughly five minutes away from the casino. I thought that arriving here 45 minutes early would be enough time. Everything did work out with ten minutes left before the show's start time. I recommend coming here an hour early. Parking was a challenge. First, you are fighting your way onto the casino premises by merging two lanes into one. The design isn't necessarily the culprit. It simply can't keep up with volume when there's at least one event here. I tried to find parking outdoors. Nothing. I don't think there were signs to get you to the sheltered parking lot that has five floors. I simply went with my instincts and found it. There are speed bumps along the way. The maximum speed is 30 km/h. I recommend slowing down even more to 20 km/h because the speed bumps are effective. Finding parking was crazy. Everyone was on the first floor. I did a full cycle, which felt like a waste of time. I finally figured out how to get to the second floor. Once I was there, there were plenty of parking spots. I was happy. I recommend backing into a spot, making leaving a lot easier. There are stairs and elevators to get you down to the casino level. There were many. The latter were beautiful and fast. One weird detail is that the major parking lot does not connect to the casino. You are outdoors walking between the two structures. It reminded me of being in grades 7 and 8, dashing from the main building to a portable for French class. I hope that they will consider a tunnel or something to keep patrons protected from the elements. There were vendors when I walked in. They were selling African items. They disappeared after the concert was over, so I am guessing that parking and attendance at this casino was busier than usual. It's pretty easy moving around this resort. I found The Arena immediately. It was next to coat check. The lineup was efficient and straightforward, with friendly staff guiding you. You do go through a purse check. I had a small purse, so I opened it and security was good with it. I then had my ticket scanned off my phone. You basically need to go to the door number that's on your ticket. I could go through door 1 or door 2. I chose the former. I saw doors 1 and 3 on the same side. I used the women's washroom twice. It was nicely designed. The stalls offer plenty of room to bring in a walker in the regular stalls. The washroom was clean and nicely lit. After the show, there was a bit of a wait to use it. The lineup moved swiftly thanks to the number of stalls. At door 1, I had the nicest usher let me know where my seat was. The seat numbers are between seats. They are difficult to see when folks are seated. I asked two different folks what their seat numbers were and finally found my spot. The Arena is an awesome venue. There was plenty of legroom. If someone needs to walk by, you don't need to get up. Yay! I was five rows away from the stage. I was almost dead centre. The view was great. The sound was fabulous. It's a huge venue. I had an excellent time. To make a long story short, I had visited the Shorelines Casino in Belleville before the pandemic and had a rewards card. Shorelines rolled out a new rewards program within the last year and assigned me a member number. I didn't know what to do with it (can't log on online and didn't receive a replacement card), so I headed to guest services. I got Lorraine. I loved her subtle purple hair. She was amazing. She asked for my ID (I provided my passport) and she found me in the system. She got me a new rewards card with a bungee cord. She looked into my account and said that I have $10 to spend at any food or drink vendor. Nice! I also have a discount to stay at the Pickering or Peterborough casino locations. Doubly nice! Lorraine was awesome! I had a great experience. I quickly checked out the casino. The floor was buzzing with activity! I used to work in the gaming industry. I oddly don't play games much at casinos, but do like the slot machines. You get free drinks while you play, which is a nice touch. I then headed to The District, which is your food court. Starbucks was open and looked nice. There was also an Asian stand, Sun Express, that's open 24 hours every day. It's perfect for those staying at the hotel, and patrons who want bubble tea and decent food offerings, such as beef noodle soup. As expected, it did take some time to exit the parking lot from the second floor and head home. There was a police officer guiding traffic. Traffic needs help, but I don't know what more can be done there. It's all volume. I love this casino and concert venue. Staff were friendly. I'll be back! (211)

We made reservations in case but hardly a line unlike the experience at Dragon legend( had reservations but line up for it was still out the door and around building) It was busy but lots of food at the hot tables being refilled often, beverages refreshed and dishes from our table promptly removed. Service was attentive in the dining rooms and friendly by the hostess station. Lunch had enough items to be happy with, but it seemed like they altered the BBQ/Grill station to breakfast foods, like bacon and fried eggs and had a few empty slots where I remember had items previously. Highs: -Black peppered beef cubes very very tender and flavourful - fried noodles on point - tofu pudding dessert had a gingered sugar syrup to drizzle on top Lows: -peking duck seemed more hard instead of crispy skin - fried egg Left the restaurant very stuffed, kids were happy.
