Tip: Make a reservation online, and you'll be able to see the number of people ahead of you and estimate when to arrive at the restaurant! It could get quite busy if you walk in and wait for a table. The restaurant's ambiance was modern, with a high-tech feel enhanced by the robot servers. I upgraded to their deluxe menu, which included cooked and raw lamb, Angus beef, etc. It was well worth it. The cooked lamb was one per person and tasted so good - so fresh and well-seasoned. These items were delivered to you by robots to your seats. For the regular items, you'll walk up to the open fridge/freezer to select your own meat, seafood, and vegetables. There's also warm food item such as chicken wings and dough bread. My favorite item was definitely the shrimp paste. Everything tasted so good in my bone broth, and the sauce I created made it even more flavorful. I tried my partner's spicy soup, and it was surprisingly really good (not as spicy that it would be intolerable compared to other hot places I've been to). I highly recommend the spicy soup over the bone broth.

My new favourite hotpot spot in Scarborough! It's super affordable, and they've got a good variety of food items to mix into the soup, from meat balls to dumplings to handmade noodles. I love that almost everything (aside from the meat) is self served so you don't have to wait for a server - unlimited diet coke is actually one of my dreams come true. And the cooked food is a great touch! I could eat a million of their dough buns with condensed milk. I'll be coming here whenever I have a hotpot craving from now on.

One of the last self serve hot pot buffets in Toronto. Excellent food selection and excellent fast service. Come here for your protein gains. Won't disappoint. After 8 PM it is 29.99$ all inclusive for soup base and pop which is a steal.

It's a great place to eat if you want to explore more authentic food and experience. This place serve hot soup of different varieties. From spicy to clear broth. For a fair price you can have a pot of your own to cook your vegetables, meat or seafood. People here are very friendly. The service if very quick. It's a nice setting and parking is ample.

We went to Happy Lamb Hot Pot specifically because they have individual pots. Just like all other hot pot places, you get to choose your broth and pot size (small or large). You can try 2-3 different types of broth if you choose the large pot. Broth selections include clear broth, mushroom broth, curry broth, hot sour & spicy broth, tomato broth, etc. I tried the mushroom broth (non-spicy) and it was pretty delicious. The interior is gorgeous. Other things that I really like about this restaurant (other than the ability to have individual pots for everyone on the table, instead of one big shared pot for everyone): 1) The "grab yourself" style of choosing ingredients - I like being able to walk up and see all the available ingredients, instead of ordering from a sheet of paper or from the table. There are some special ingredients that you can order, but all of the ingredients that we need and want are already available in the self-serve section (all the vegs, seafood, etc.). 2) It has additional add-ons and side dishes that are not always available at other hot pot places (such as youtiao, fried milk buns (mantou), fried peanuts, some side veggie salads, seaweed salad, fried peanuts, crackers, etc.). 3) Great selection of seafood and veg options - Fresh squid, giant shrimps, mussels, fish balls and vegan / vegetarian ingredients (various kinds of tofu and beancurds, fresh vegetables). 4) Unlimited fruits (mainly orange slices) for dessert, along with other petit desserts (mango mousse, mini cream puffs, mini square cakes). 5) The cute robot that comes and delivers trays of food (if you order something extra that isn't part of the self-serve section). 6) Restaurant is quite clean and service is pretty good (easy to get servers' attention when needed). It gets very busy on weekends and around dinner time, so making a reservation ahead of time is highly recommended, otherwise you'd have to wait in line for a table. They have a system where you can put in your contact info, and it tells you how many groups are ahead of you waiting for a table. They have a 2-hour seating limit policy, which they enforce quite strictly. The restaurant itself is in a plaza with free parking available, but it does fill up quickly, especially during busy hours and on weekends.

We came here hoping to enjoy some yummy hotpot with the family and I was craving it. The selection of food is pretty good, and $28.99 per person is the basic selection. If you want premium meat, there's $5 per person added. We chose the premium package, but was disappointed by the meat on the second round. The first round was pretty good, but the second round the meat is so fatty and low quality. It seems that they have "forgotten" that we paid for the premium package. We didn't bother to change it, but I was regretting to take the upgrade. They had some precooked buns and shrimp crackers, which both tastes old and stale. The sauce selection is okay, just the basics. Food selection was pretty good, they had all kinds of veggies and noodles, as well as shrimp, fish and some seafood. The clear soup base has a very distinct smell, which was hard to ignore. I think there's a lot of herbs in the the broth, which not everyone can take it. The service was very...minimal. I mean, it is self serve all you can eat, at the end of the day, you pay what you get. I'm not sure if I would go back, but having to try it was definitely an experience.

This was our first visit to celebrate my son's birthday. We were lucky to book a table last minute for Sunday evening. The price is reasonable for what you get. Lots of variety and you get to pick what you want from the back of the restaurant. It is nicely laid out and there was a good selection of sauces too. There are two sizes for the hot pot. It comes in an individual pot or communal good for 4 people. This restaurant has a robot that brings out the food which was very neat. The food selection was really good and tasted fresh. We ordered lots of beef & lamb,. They even had frog legs!! The restaurant was clean and the service was good. We will definitely be back!!

Easily my favourite Happy Lamb Hot Pot location across the GTA. I have visited this location a few times on the weekend during their dinner service. I found this location to be very clean, decorated nicely, and had a better setup for choosing toppings. I definitely prefer their buffet-style setup over the paper order form and having a server bring it to you. With the buffet-style setup, I can pick how much or how little I want of a topping, which is nice if you want to try something new or different. I also think their sauce station is better maintained here, with less cross-contimation.

This is an AYCE place for Hot Pot! Covid19 checks are in place to check in, provide proof of vaccination, hand sanitizing stations, and waiters wearing face masks. The lamb sized hot pot was fantastic and came with many large lamb bones with meat on it. The waiters are very quick to provide food and the food quality is good. There is also a place to create your own sauce and sanitize your hands afterwards.

The service was great. The food quality was good. I really enjoyed that all you can eat. The only thing was the bill Hass to be paid one setting. The food texture was fresh. It was also dessert that was offered to us at the end of the meal which is included all in total. It cost about $40 per person great for one time event.

    Tomato and Hot and Sour

After coming here four times, I have to say this is my go-to hot pot place as it truly does leave me Happy afterwards! Immediately after sitting the servers do come what soup base you would like without too much time to think. I understand as they want to get you started as soon as possible as when it gets busy it truly gets busy. I am thankful for the servers pre-warning soup spiciness bases (especially when choosing - the one named "butter" is their spiciest!) I personally get the yin yang broth as you can try two different broths. Personally the tomato and hot/sour are what I get as when my friend tried the butter spicy it was completely filled with spices (but that is up to your personal taste) The menu is simple there are three times you can order on it, you tick off what you want. Usually, the meat comes quickly although there was one time it was still completely frozen so still needed to wait. There is a robot server that comes around but I haven't personally had. There is also a sauce station where you create your own sauce. One of my favourite things to get it their house mashed shrimp (it comes on a ladle and you scrap it to the size you want). Lastly for desert there is a melona ice cream bar of your choosing.

Because they have divided the grill into 12 zones, they don't really "stir fry" you food. The flavors don't really mix well together. They need to toss the food a bit more so the flavors and spices mix. There is a little salad bar with lettuce, cucumbers, potato salad. macaroni salad pickled beets and a few more items. The night went they had a chicken noodle soup and minestrone soup. It's out of the way for me, but if I were passing by sometime in the future, I would return.

I love the buffet-style arrangement so that you can have as much or as little of each item as you want, rather than having to lock in a fixed amount (which works better in a group, less so as a couple). I don't know what their sorcery is, but the mini fountain drink machine is the greatest ever. I also love whoever came up with the idea of giving happy lamb-themed fake money as loyalty vouchers for a small discount on your next visit. They are so cute. Now for some criticism. Their soft serve ice cream is not very good. I would skip it. I'm not sold on the deluxe dinner menu. I think the regular/classic dinner is perfectly adequate for the main proteins.

Both don't include broth. - There is a promotion going on (May 2025) where if you get the dinner hot pot for lunch or dinner, pay an extra $1 to get broth. - I'd skip the meat at the self-serve area. You get enough beef and lamb already. Last Wednesday, our departmental meeting was pushed from its usual 1 pm start to 2:30 pm. Our team meeting was cancelled due to this move. I asked my friend what his schedule was like. It was clear, except for our afternoon meeting. It was the same for me. We had talked a while back about going for hot pot. I asked if he wanted to do hot pot for lunch. He said yes. Yay! We found three hot pot places roughly twenty minutes away from the office. We decided to try this one. We both hadn't been here before. I drove us over here. There was lots of parking in front of the restaurant. I backed into a spot and we walked in. We were promptly greeted by a woman. We got a table of two. We were quickly seated at table 37. Our seats were comfortable. The table was large enough for our hot pot, and all our food and drinks during our meal. We got menus. The lunch hot pot was $20.99. The dinner hot pot was available for $28.99. The only difference is that there's a section in the self-serve area that has dinner items only. We were told that there was a special going on. If we each got the dinner hot pot for $28.99, we could add $1 for broth. We said yes. Broth is separate. It's an interesting pricing structure. We wanted two types of broth for $9.99, but we added the $1 on the dinner hot pot to check everything out. For the broths, we got clear and curry. The woman said that she'd bring the pot out with the broths and we could help ourselves to the self-serve area. We liked both broths. My friend liked the clear one better. The curry tasted like Japanese-style curry, which had my heart. There was a lot of food. I made the mistake of getting dumplings and beef meatballs that were raw. I also got fish balls that were cooked. I recommend sticking with the beef and lamb slices, and skipping the proteins in the self-serve areas. There's enough protein already. Lesson learned! The fountain drinks are at the back. My friend loved the orange juice. He said that it was addictive like Tang. Oh, wow! I alternated between the Diet Coke and plum juice. They were excellent. I was happy with getting veggies, udon, and rice sticks. The mushrooms, potatoes, and sweet potatoes were fun to cook and eat. Any green veggie also worked well. We got thin slices of beef and lamb. They cooked quickly. I liked the beef more. The lamb was gamey even after you dip it in whatever sauce you have created. We felt that the pot itself was up high on the table. The depth of this pot was probably three inches. The cooking element was not sunken into the table. Trying to figure out where our food was swimming and whether it was cooked took more care than usual. We are fairly tall people and the added pot height took us by surprise. The pot also wasn't centred properly. Our curry broth was boiling away, but the clear was at a low simmer. I shifted the pot, which seemed to have made a difference to get both broths to do the same rolling boil. Sadly, one of my huge lamb dumplings wasn't cooked properly when I checked because of the weird discrepancy with the boils. I ended up putting it in a small bowl, pouring hot broth on top of it, and cooking it that way. I had already opened it up to check for doneness and didn't want to drop it back in. I felt like I overdid the cooking, but at least it was fully cooked! I somehow managed to get some dessert, which was a small section in the self-serve area. I got a small chocolate cake square, which was delicious. There were also peaches that were clearly out of a can. The honeydew melon chunks were fresh. I frankly feel that the lunch hot pot with a broth purchase would have been sufficient. I was happy to have tried mini corn cobs, enoki, and more from the dinner section. I would have been fine without it because there were so many food options. Our server asked if we wanted ice cream. It came with our meal. We were so full that we skipped it. The washrooms are in the back, just before you hit the beverages. The women's was clean. My friend paid for both of us at the front counter. I ended up paying him back when I got us back to the office. It's not bad paying roughly $35 after taxes for such a feast. We had a good time. It was a lot of food. We learned what not to do, so we'll be back to perfect our hot pot skills and try to squeeze in some ice cream! (160)

It was relatively quiet - quieter than the last time I was here, which was mid week evening, around the same time (7ish). The yellow laphing was spicy, and tasty, and something we hadn't had before. The beef steamed momos were juicy and really bursting with flavour despite the simplicity. The sizzling chicken plate was really disappointing - bland with rubbery chicken. While the service was pleasant, and the menu felt more authentic than the nearby momo places; it was still disappointing.

What better way to start of 2022 am I right ?! Norling has some of the best momos Toronto has to offer and their food really does remind me of home. While I can't go visit Calcutta right now I can still hit up Parkdale for a little trip down memory lane for sure! Pictured here is my go to order whenever I visit: - Steamed beef momos - Pan fried chicken momos - Deep fried amdo momos All 3 types are sure to satisfy everyone's preferences, they're all SUPER juicy and delicious! I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic momos. They also have a full Tibetan and Hakka style menu with many other items to try other than their momos, I've tried their gyuma before as well and licked my fingers (no joke). Gyuma is Tibetan style blood sausage and oh so yummy! Their prices are very reasonable and quantity is exceptional, definitely my kind of place. Check them out y'all :)

They have a hot pot side and a barbecue side and we chose all you can eat hot pot. They have lots of cuts of meat to choose from, plus fresh vegetable and noodle stations that are self-serve. We went with a dual pot of beef broth with spicy Mongolian seasoning and veg broth with Spicy Tom Yum. Both were great, but I especially liked the spicy Mongolian. We ordered quite a bit of meat (some beef tendon, sliced beef, sliced pork, salmon, and pork and shrimp dumplings) and it was all fresh and delicious. Veg included bok choy, cabbage, enoki mushrooms, and lots more, plus plenty of noodle varieties. They have a great selection here and there's surely something for everyone. We had a great dinner here. Everything was tasty and the service was friendly. We'd definitely visit again the next time we are in the area!
