Average hot pot place. Sauce bar is pretty good in terms of variety. Also one of the few places that has raw eggs for sauce. There's also some cold appetizers, fruits, and fried appetizers in this area too. Also have tea eggs. Order servings are ok, but when re-ordering, slow to come out. For birthday celebrations, you can get a "beef cake" which is sliced beef on top of a huge block of ice. Dessert options are only 3 and none of them were great.

This place is definitely a recommendation for anyone who asks about hot pot places! We had a pretty good time and we'll be coming back! There is a bit of a wait time but I like how they stay open late

Great location with consistent service and quality. they have big pots or separate individual pots. a huge variety of meats, veggies, noodles etc to choose from. And a huge sauce bar with appetizers too. Love getting the spicy broth and family is a fan of tomato, only scarborough location is the one that pours real tomato soup again and not water when soup is running out. Meats is high quality! I recommend watermelon juice, it's fresh made in house! Ambiance is casual with red grey instead and major seats being booths and the restroom offers feminine hygiene products! Highly recommend coming here ! Parking can be tricky but you will find it eventually Service is always nice but sometimes a bit slow and sometimes the items you order don't come so you have to order again

Love this location due to this place not being as busy as the location in Richmondhill. Able to make reservations easily. Came with my family and friends to enjoy hotpot before she gave birth, and we were seated at the table where we had our own mini pot, we made our sauces and started ordering all the meats and veggies right away. Only thing I found fault is that their soy sauce is so salty; I had to dump almost 2 tablespoons of sugar, and it wasn't even a lot of soy sauce in my bowl, I almost didn't even want to use my dipping sauce anymore as the soup base was good enough not to use any of it. Other than that, the veggies were very fresh and the meats were tender. The waitresses were fast in terms of collecting empty plates, and taking in our orders. There was one super kind waitress who gave my daughter a cute toy.

First time trying this place. Plenty of free parking. They have spacious seating that's great for groups. We had 5 people in our party, and got the AYCE menu. We split two pots with 4 different soup bases. There's premium items that you can also order for an added cost. I liked their 2-in-1 sauce station and self-serve fruit table. The servers were quick and not hard to flag if we needed anything. Overall, I'd come back again!

Very kid friendly I would definitely recommend this place.

This restaurant gets very busy but doesn't take reservations for parties less than five, so we waited over an hour and a half for a table for two. That was pretty annoying, but they give a 12% discount for anyone who waits over an hour. When we actually got to our table the service was great. They brought food very quickly and even though our table wasn't in a central location we never had to wait long for a waiter. They brought the food pretty quickly but a few times they forgot about something we ordered and we had to ask for it again. There is a lot of variety on the menu and everything we ordered was very fresh. The pork bone soup base was delicious and added a lot of flavour. The sauce station had a wide variety of sauces to choose from so we were happy with that. Overall the food was excellent so this would have been a five star review if they respected our time more and let us make a reservation.

Got tomato & duck with Chinese pickled radish bases, which were good. The sauce bar has fruit & snacks, like Haidilao - but without the surcharge. Actually this place is a bit like a AYCE version of Haidilao. They get 3.5 stars. The tables weren't laid out with spoons, which was weird - it's hard to eat hotpot without a spoon. We had to ask for spoons twice & even then we only got ladles with & without holes. Black pepper chicken was weird. The texture was strange - almost like jelly. It had little chicken flavour. Cuttlefish paste was good: a good cuttlefish flavour & the water chestnut was nice too. Dessert was a choice of Melona bars, boiled glutinous rice balls & white fungus sweet soup. The fungus was bland, the glutinous rice balls were decent. Melona was Melona - good as usual. The washroom was pretty well equipped - it had mini floss sticks, Q tips, deodorant spray & mouthwash - like a scaled down Haidilao.

Went with family for a Chinese new year dinner . Love it: excellent service & food. fair price.

Great all you can eat hotpot with lots of variety in meats and seafoods! You have the option of splitting the pot into up to 3 soup based. Just a note that there's an additional cost when splitting the pot into multiple soup bases. We got a split pot of Traditional Chonqing Style Spicy Soup Base and Wild Mixed Mushroom Soup Base. There's also a sauce station where you can customize your own sauces as well as get sides. They seemed to be giving away complimentary dessert when we were there for dinner so we got to try that as well! Food was tasty and the service was fast.

Came for the late night special offer tonight. AYCE and AYCD. We had unlimited aloe Vera juice and pineapple juice....so good. Good quality meat, big arrangement of foods. Ice cream bars for dessert are wonderful....melona and the ice milk! They constantly had a flow of people in an out of the place and service was fast!

First time trying this place. It's an all you can eat hotpot experience. There's premium items for an extra cost. There's a robot that food to your table. There's a fruit station where the sauce station is located. We got a 12% percent off discount for not having any wasted food. There was free parking in the plaza.

I've been craving Szechuan-style whole grilled fish for the longest time, so I was really happy…read morewhen I stumbled across this spot while walking on Spadina. The posters outside caught my eye, and I decided to come back with a group of three friends to try it out. We came a bit late around 8 PM, and most of the fish were already sold out except the original. We ended up ordering the Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($40), a whole fish served bubbling hot with three toppings (potatoes, spam, and lotus root). You can choose between catfish and turbot, we chose the turbot fish. It looked extremely spicy, but the spice level was actually perfect. It was a bit on the oily side, but pairing it with rice balanced it out nicely. The fish was very tender and buttery, everything tasted amazing! We also ordered the Stir-Fried Egg with Tomato. The eggs were soft, the tomato sauce was rich. Not to mention the portion size was huge, we even had leftovers after eating until we were full. The restaurant itself was spacious, clean, and had plenty of seating. I think they were doing some sort of promotion so they gave us a $25 off coupon, though it expired pretty quickly so we didn't get to use it. I'd definitely come back for that grilled fish.

This is a new Chinese restaurant featuring Hunan and Szechuan cuisine. The spicy dishes emphasize…read morespiciness, not numbness. A few of their dishes come out on a sizzling plate with flames underneath. They are still in soft-opening mode with several specials. You can see the menus via a QR code. The Hunan cuisine is listed as "Hunan Noodles" and the Szechuan cuisine is listed as "Chopfire Menu". The Szechuan dishes are listed with 1 to 3 chilies representing the spiciness. If you can't handle spicy, then avoid eating the chili pieces and you might "survive". The restaurant decided to minimize their food offerings so that they can focus on refining their dishes in terms of quality and taste, including from customer feedback. We ordered the following: 1. Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish ($39.95). 2. Home Stir Fried Beef ($21.95). 3. Bullfrog with Baby Ginger ($19.95). 4. Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Preserved Pork ($15.95). 5. Drunk Oolong (charcoal roasted oolong tea base) x 2 ($5.95 x 2). 6. Lemon Taro Balls ($7.95). We also saw the following: 7. Stir-Fried Sliced Pork with Green Pepper Noodle Soup ($9.99). First 10 customers each day, only pays $1.00. 8. Ink Painting Cocktail ($5.95). The Signature Spicy Grilled BBQ Fish came out on a huge sizzling platter. The BBQ Fish, a Turbot Fish, was very fresh and flaky, easily coming off the bone. There is no head attached like at typical Chinese restaurants but it would not have fit in the platter. The platter had a delicious sauce (soupy consistency and not sweet), luncheon meat slices, lotus root slices, and two other vegetables, along with chili pieces. The entire dish tasted great together with the various flavours. The menu listed it as 2-chili spicy but I could handle it by avoiding the chili pieces. The Home Stir Fried Beef is tender. It is listed as 3-chili but I could handle it by avoiding the chili pieces. The Bullfrog with Baby Ginger has the bullfrog cut up in little pieces; no you don't see a whole frog! The meat was actually good but most pieces have bones in it, so it takes time to eat it carefully. There was ginger slices in it but it, but we thought the slices were quite large! The Stir-Fried Cauliflower with Preserved Pork was very delicious! It came in a sizzling plate. The Cauliflower was flavourful and was not crunchy and not too soft. I've never had preserved pork slices before; it was quite good, not as salty as Chinese preserved vegetables. The Drunk Oolong has comes in a small bowl a with gin and ice. On the side, they include pieces of the charcoal roasted oolong tea leaves so you can smell it; quite a good smell indeed. You can also order it without the gin, which is what I ordered for mine (since I don't drink alcohol). It was such a nice drink! The Lemon Taro Balls dessert was pretty. In the centre was a slice of lemon. The customer service was good. There is plenty of indoor table and counter seating, including a small private room at the back. There is also an outdoor patio during warmer weather. There is pop music playing in the background. There is no free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-open button. There are two gender-neutral washrooms downstairs, so they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. Review 2025-026

The signature apple wood roasted Peking duck was definitely a highlight, especially with the tableside carving, which made the whole experience feel even more polished and memorable. The skin had that beautiful lacquered finish, and the duck was rich, flavorful, and very satisfying. We also ordered a few larger dishes for the table, and I really appreciated how everything still felt refined without losing that comforting, indulgent side of Chinese dining. Some dishes leaned rich and luxurious, others were lighter and more aromatic, so the meal never felt repetitive. Service was another standout. Attentive without hovering, smooth without being too formal.. exactly the kind of service you hope for in a restaurant like this.
