Went to Mom's list because it had really good ratings on Yelp. When we walked inside it felt like I stepped into a sprouts but for burgers ahaha. There was indoor and outdoor seating, love that. The cashier was super friendly, there was also a gentleman at the counter he must have been the owner, he was so pleasant! He let us sample some potato chips, made from there chipperbec potatoes. They were delicious, literally tasted like a really good potato chip, crisp & fresh! We got two burgers, two moms sweet and spicy. They smelled sooo good! The looked good too! The burgers had grilled onions, pepperjack cheese, fried onions (I think) arugula, jalapeños and pickles. I added mustard @ home. It was sooooo good! The patties were perfectly seasoned, the buns were thick and soft, a really good tasting bread! The jalapeños were hot for sure but it was a good flavor. I also added a little BBQ sauce it was SO FIRE! The burger was so fresh, you could taste the freshness in the meat! Definitely recommend.

Good ambiance, front and rear of store seating, free parking lot in the back. They are all about healthy ingredients, fresh made to order cooking. The owner is a long time avid tennis player and truly believes in a healthy diet and active lifestyle. Love the concept and they open late nights. I love the sweet and spicy burger and the big mama 3 patties. they even do the big mama 3 patties in lettuce wrap as well! The loaded fries are a great fun option and they openly have all their ingredients they cook with on display for you to purchase in their front of store market as well!

Was in the area, came in to try the burger. The vibe was calming and I felt so comfortable. self serve kiosk was easy to manage, there was a guy there to answer any questions. He let me taste their bread and butter pickles because im a dill gurl. I loved the taste! Nicely brined. I ordered the sweet and spicy burger lettuce wrapped with fresh cut fries, simple and sweet. The order was made quickly. I paid $17 eeek but I still took a chance. The burger was small so if you are hungry, you may want to try the double for $4 extra. The flavor of the burger was good and the lettuce wrap I made a lettuce cup because it was too much lettuce but I enjoyed it. Fresh cut fries were fresh!

Prime burger spot with high quality ingredients, no seed oils and truly homemade. They make their own ketchup, house sauce, pickles and use Hasi bread. The interior was really cute with plenty of seating and a mini bodega. All of the staff was really nice, and I could see them meticulously putting the burger together in their open kitchen. Some of the best fries that I've had! My new favorite burger joint in LA!

I honestly wasn't headed here, but here I am after heading to lunch and passing their sidewalk board that coaxed me in with a great looking burger in the picture. I was greeted by the manager or owner it seems, who showed me how to place an order on their touchscreen (they did also have a friendly cashier who was more than willing to help). All burgers are made fresh with grass-fed organic beef, fresh ingredients, buns and genuine care. I ordered the Messy Mama which is a damn tasty burger. Topped with house made pickles (great taste and crunch), homemade ketchup & sauce. Decent price since it a double patty burger ($12.95) and organic! The burger seems a bit small, but in all honesty it's perfect! Filled me up and tasted great! Though slightly an odd name, it all makes sense once you taste the fresh ingredients, just like mom ran to the store for the freshest product and made you a homemade burger to welcome you home! My order was delivered to me in under five minutes and the kind manager sent over some of their homemade French fries to accompany my burger gratis (since I'm not normally a regular fry gal I didn't order them) but they were pretty good (In & Out style freshly cut potatoes and fried) served with a side of their homemade ketchup. Really good, but again I'm just not a fry gal. All in all, really great burger & service and I will be back!

The burgers are so fresh and delicious, and I love that they use organic ingredients. The staff is incredibly kind and truly goes above and beyond to accommodate guests. It's a casual, family-friendly spot and definitely one of our favorites!

For sure my new go to burger spot! Very tasty and flavorful, friendly owner and staff. Price is very reasonable for the quality of food you're getting. Totally recommend it!

The posters up front with the girls with big personalities should have been a sign Concept sounds good Service quick and friendly Ambience you can do a kiosk order or "talk to someone" (if your into that thing ) Food for $10 burger I don't expect gourmet and I appreciate the "grass fed" and oils BUT it simply had zero flavor The size (yes it matters) these are sliders to me not a full burger Give us a full patty of beef The bread (bun) which I tasted more of was good The fries , decent not amazing decent Maybe increase the burger patty size and add salt and pepper and you got something

I stopped by Mom's List tonight because I was craving a burger and have trying to "eat only at mom and pop places." I got the Classic which had two patties, cheese, homemade pickles, and lettuce. The restaurant itself is cute. I checked out the various selfies, pictures, and small market selection while I waited for my food. The owner checked in with me pretty quickly to get my name, as did another woman who was running orders. It took a little while for my food to come out, maybe 15 minutes, but everyone in the kitchen was clearly working to push orders through. As a thank you for my patience, they threw in some fries on the house. The burger was great! Exactly what I was wanting, and I loved the house pickles! Mom's list is now on my list of places to frequent in the area.

Mom's special....Meat not close to covering the bun. Not round but kind of oval. Ok flavors... not mind bending.
    Kathy W.

Great prices and ingredients... but too small of a portion. Burger didn't fit the bun. And bun is small. Fries were great and they make their own catsup. Really appreciate the intentions behind this place and wanted to love it but alas... most likely won't be back. Very good and fresh fries and lemonade!!!

I discovered Mom's List through the LA Bucket List and I'm so glad I did. Such a fabulous local spot! The staff was incredibly welcoming and the ambiance felt warm and inviting. I also loved that they sell a small assortment of fresh vegetables and other local goods -- it adds to the neighborhood charm. My friend and I ordered The OG and The Boss burgers, along with fries and the hand-cut Japanese sweet potato chips. Honestly, these were some of the best burgers I've ever had -- everything was so fresh and flavorful. Also loved the board filled with photos of loved ones and their moms. Such a sweet touch that really captures the heart of this family-style restaurant. So glad we stumbled upon this gem

Entrance from the parking lot side. They have tables inside and outside.

Mom's List is the latest offering at The Culver Crossroads. It's burgers, fries (or chips) and shakes, plus. They make five signature burgers, including one vegetarian style. All of which can be customized with different add-ons to suit your taste. The beef is organic grass fed from Eel River Farms. I got the single patty "Mom's the OG" burger and next time I will make it a double. As good as the burger is, the chocolate shake was the highlight of the meal. So good. I think it was 12oz and I would have really enjoyed a 16oz shake. Super friendly service too.

    Double burger 3oz patties

Came in for lunch around 12pm mid week. Upon arrival, everything was very clean and welcoming. Customer service was great. I ordered the OG burger and I added an extra patty to make it a double. Got a side of fries, all together the total came out to $21.98 (no drink). The burger was very juicy, you can tell the ingredients are high quality. The fries were excellent. Personally, I thought the burger was a little small even though I got a double. I enjoyed every bite but I did end up leaving still a little hungry. Would I return to this spot? Yes, but not very often. Price was a little high for me although I understand why. The ingredients were top tier. Maybe if the burger was slightly bigger or if the price was a little more affordable I would be a regular here. If you're looking for a high quality burger with fresh ingredients, this is the place for you. Definitely worth a try!

The place itself is very modern and nice. Overall the vibe it basically a Houston's-type place. And service was good. All of the food overall was very good. Nothing really too crazy. To me, the menu is a little... boring. But, I will say everything was tasty. We got the Cajun shrimp salad (which was simple and clean but tasty), a cheese pizza for the kids (which was good!), a brisket French dip (very tasty and a horseradish sauce with a LOT of bite), a vodka pasta (was good but it actually is TOO big a portion to eat by one's self), the Ahi Tuna frites (the tuna was good and served with a nice green sauce), and the grilled cabbage side (with brown butter and some pomegranate molasses--it was actually my favorite thing!). The key distinctive thing about Laurel Grill seems to be that a lot of things get cooked by that fire which really adds a nice smoky touch (like the shrimp and the ahi tuna and the cabbage). My only major complaint would be the fries were just okay. After a minute or two they weren't crispy anymore. As good as everything else was, I thought they would step things up with the fries but they were just average. Anyways, while I overall am not that excited by the menu, it definitely is a great place to go where everybody will be able to find something tasty to eat. And overall, the portions were pretty fair.

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

The spritz was strong or my tolerance has gone way down. First course: I was pleasantly surprised by how big the Avacado toast was. It had a jam at the bottom that brought the whole dish together. Service was great and our servers were amazing. They explained the menu throughly and explained how the items were family style. For drinks, we ordered the pong express which was delicious. For food, we ordered the cornbread, the cat fish bites, the blackened chicken, the carrots and the mashed potatoes. Everything was super delicious and the portions were great. Definitely recommend for any occasion!

Come here for brunch after climbing the Culver City Stairs at the Baldwin Hills Overlook or a bike ride by the Ballona Creek jetty. Koshihikari Rice Porridge: This is a risotto that has gone gooey. Or is it the creamiest congee around? It is warm and thick, slightly soupy, and the rice grains still have some texture. The flavor is well balanced, a bit of broth, lemon, and olive oil. There are melted leaks at the base of the bowl, glistening with golden olive oil. The broccoli stems have been cooked until they are really soft. Crispy and chewy puffed rice has been sprinkled on top of the porridge, as well as raw green broccoli bits. The broccoli bits are what you get after you shake a grocery bag holding your broccoli crowns. Grilled onion rings are charred sand sweet. A sweet chocolatey gravy of black garlic is dusted on top. I don't eat porridge too often, but I'd keep coming back for the incredible flavors and textures in this stunning bowl. Ordering: Place your order at the counter, pick up a number, and find a table on the sidewalk. Dining: There was a line out the door on the weekend and seats are hard to come by, so I roll the order to go. Parking is plentiful with lots of spots on the street.

The stuffed matcha croissant really wasn't stuffed, the matcha was coated on the side of the croissant. The pastries were alright. Husband got the coffee and it was a bit too acidic. My matcha latte was soo grassy and herby. I also tried the koshihikari rice porridge, the black garlic flavor was overpowering. It's a very hearty dish, perhaps a bit too much for me in the morning. Overall I feel like maybe this place is too avant garde for my taste.
