We just went with our whole teams to this restaurant to enjoy our brunch. We sat outside since we have about 20 people. The environment was good and not crowded. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it very much. Server was great and took care of everyone. Thanks!

Nice outdoor seating on a sunny day! Service was good and attentive. Clean tables and brunch vibes. Food did take a little bit longer to come out, but tasted pretty good! PARKING street parking or park underground Erewhon and walk across. ORDER $7.75 golden tumeric latte $27.95 salmon teriyaki bowl PRICE Realllyy pricey but large portions. Tumeric latte was interesting and a bit spicy. The salmon bowl was nice and hearty with grilled veggies and chewy brown rice. OVERALL They have a lot of delicious items on the menu from fresh juices to corn pancakes and Mexican Cali dishes. Would come back to try their other items!

Café Vida makes the best breakfast. They have breakfast all day and all the offerings are good. I love the pancakes and eggs. Their Brown rice almond pancakes are gluten free and you can't tell. They have Chia, flax seeds and almonds, topped with fresh berries, and powdered sugar. They are served with with butter and maple syrup. Their Blueberry corn cakes are also great and different. They are fresh berries and powdered sugar, served with maple syrup and butter. You can add sides to all these items. The prices are fair, parking is okay, and the place is super clean and comfortable. They often have outdoor seating as well. The service is great. The entire staff is lovely and kind. They get your order right and they wait on you fast. Now it can get crowded and I don't think they take reservations, but the line moves at a fair pace.

Wanted to give Cafe Vida another try. I actually ordered the same dish and it was just as delicious as I remembered. I ordered a plain pancake but to my surprise it was the berry powdered sugar pancake. I didn't send it back given my last experience. Plus, the waitress probably didn't hear me say plain pancake. She was really nice and thankfully I kept the same waitress throughout. The restaurant was packed but service was fairly quick. Overall, I like that a dish I enjoyed was consistent and the service improved this visit.

Food is very tasty. I tried the avocado garden sandwich (added chicken) and it was delish and huge. I was able to finish one and half of the sweet potato fries. Location is easy to get to but parking can be a challenge.

Sunday brunch on a cold morning sounds great in Culver City, if you sit inside with a hot cup of coffee in your hands. Lots of people inside. Employees are active and the place is alive with Spanish music. The server was nice and there were lots of interesting dishes I would have ordered, if not for my vegetarian diet. Good news is they have options. I got the veggie scramble. It was just okay. What I really wanted to order was their special: the Spicy Chicken Huevos Oaxaca or the Brunch Short Rib Burrito. I must splurge and get that next time. I'm sure when I do, it will be more than three stars.

Be prepared for long waits on weekend mornings... even with a lot of seating. But there is a lot to walk around/do nearby as you wait, and the food was bomb. Everything was kind of pricey ($20+ per entree, as expected for LA brunch) but at least the size of everything was big. I recommend their short rib/steak dishes, the meat was tender and everything was well seasoned. The French toast was fabulous - it had this bruleed sugar crunch on the outside. The drinks were pretty ordinary and kind of overpriced.

You know the type of meal that makes your table dead silent because everyone's too busy eating? This was the experience I had here. I started with the watermelon lemonade which was super refreshing. My whole table got the Yucatán omelette which was really good. The chicken sausage had good flavor. We also had the blueberry corn cakes which were the perfect texture and were too sweet. I'll definitely be back.

This place was very popular on Saturday! So come early and put your name down. We got sat about 30 mins after, which isn't bad considering every table was full and there were 10+ people ahead of us. Drink: I couldn't decide between the spicy matcha or the turmeric latte and asked the server, he recommend the turmeric latte with almond milk. It did not disappoint! It was creamy, rich and flavorful. I highly recommend this. Food: I got the special, spicy chicken huevos Oaxaca! It was sooo good. The tortillas were crispy, the egg perfectly runny, the chicken had a kick and bursting with a lot of flavor. The salad was decent as well. My cousin got the Yucatan omelet, and I didn't get to taste it but he said that's his favorite and ate the whole thing. We shared an order of pancakes and that was very good, too. Highly recommend to share with the table if you want something semi sweet but prefer savory breakfast instead, like us! The outdoor patio was filled, it was a little loud the day we went since there was a protest across the street at the city hall, but overall the place was located near a couple of parking structures and a short walk from both. The service was great, and the food came out quickly. The other team members were very attentive and refilled our waters without having to ask. I HIGHLY recommend this place for lunch and brunch.

Such a great brunch option in central downtown Culver City. I was here on Sunday with two friends for brunch. I was able to park in the Culver Parking Garage around the corner. The first hour of parking was free. We waited for about 20 minutes for a table. They won't seat you until everyone in your group is there. I ordered the chipotle chicken quesadilla with a side of sweet potato fries. It didn't come with any salsa, but it wasn't bad. The portion size was good for the price. The fries were warm and crispy. Service was alright; the waitress seemed a bit rushed. Pretty decent food and I wouldn't mind coming back here for brunch.

Food service was amazing. The ambience was great. The wait wasn't too long just as long as they said it was 15 mins and it was pretty crowded. The pancakes melted in your mouth, the syrup was hot. The berries were fresh and not soggy. We also had their onion rings because my friend was so hungry and they were good with their ranch and bbq. Service was quick and to the point we also didn't wait long for our food. Definitely will come back. Also, in a great location.

Stopped by after the marathon and it was pretty busy, but the service was still great and everyone was really friendly. One small downside is that they can't swap the cooking oil for olive oil or avocado oil. I ordered the vegetarian wrap and it was actually pretty good -- fresh and satisfying. Overall a nice spot, just wish there were more oil options.

Bbq chicken, rice, and broccoli - 5/10 - There was mayo in the rice underneath the broccoli which was not appetizing to me, but the chicken was good. Social Hour Menu Chicken & caviar bun - 6/10 - The fried chicken meat tasted like it was frozen and warmed up, but the bun and caviar were nice. Burnt cheesecake - 2/10 - The cheesecake was hot and had a curdled texture, and the syrup and accompanying fruit did not taste fresh. To Go - Prime rib sandwich - 8/10 - This being their saving grace is crazy, but it was really good. Caramelized onions were really nice, and it tasted like they used a Hawaiian roll for the bun. - Glazed baked sweet potato - 7/10 - Wasn't expecting the cheese on the potato, but that was probably my fault and I misread the menu. However, the potatoes were fully cooked through and pretty good. I'm glad I got these menu items at the social hour prices, because for the price you're paying, unfortunately, the food quality does not match. I've been really wanting to try a David Chang restaurant, and I think this was maybe the wrong one to try first. Parking: The first hour is free. The restaurant doesn't validate parking, but if you buy something $10 or more at Gelsons, they will validate your parking. However, if you're only there for two hours, I believe parking comes out to around $8.

The scallop crudo felt like it should have been served with some chips or some vessel... We were just scooping scallops, cucumber and avocado out with some forks. The pork belly came and was presented well, but the pork belly itself was quite bland. The skin is crispy, most of the flavors came from the pickled carrots and vegetables. The hanger steak was cooked well, but it was way too salty. The crispy brussel sprouts were for sure crispy.. and there was a big bowl of it....but it was way too salty/acidic with no sweetness to balance it. The decor is top-notch, with a vibe that feels like a PCH getaway, minus the ocean. The staff was professional, friendly, and attentive across the board. Our server had that polished resort-service energy while still being cool and personable. I started with the Two Way Margarita -- or something like that; after the second one, the name got a little blurry. I was a little bummed they had run out of sushi rolls, but they made up for it with the tuna crispy rice and tuna tartare, which were both excellent. Funny enough, both still had sushi elements, so I'm not sure how that worked, but I'm not complaining. For entrees, we ordered the branzino and shrimp curry. The food was very good -- maybe not the best I've ever had -- but the ambience and service elevated the whole night. What might've been an 8.5/10 meal became a true 10/10 experience. I'd definitely recommend Gemma for a date night, anniversary, or anyone looking for a beautiful rooftop dining experience in Beverly Hills.

The same hotel where Marilyn Monroe swan in the pool while she was an up and coming actress. There is indoor seating, and seating by the pool. We sat in one of the alcoves by the pool. The hotel has a fantastic 1950's retro vibe. Service was impeccable. Omelets made to order. The buffet had a carving station with 2 meat choices. The tri tip was delicious. Scrambled eggs, applewood sausage, lox, with bagel choices toasted by the server. cottage fries with onion and peppers. Big beautiful shrimp with cocktail sauce. Waffles, French toast. Fruit and a beautiful display of yummy sweet treats. The bar had lots of fun poolside drinks as well a full bar. And if eating at the Viviane, free valet parking!! We checked out the dinner menu and we will be back.

The tacos here were some of the best I've had. The shrimp was cooked perfectly, the avocado was generous, and the spices were layered in a way that felt rich without being overwhelming. The menu overall feels classic yet innovative, with thoughtful combinations that stand out. The staff could not be more lovely, which adds to how easy it is to settle in and enjoy your time. And eating poolside is always a plus. It's conveniently located inside the Avalon Hotel Beverly Hills, which makes it feel like more of a getaway than just a meal. The hotel itself adds to the experience, with thoughtful touches like a welcome elixir at check-in, access to a wellness spa, and bikes available to use. It's a relaxing, slightly playful staycation option if you're in Los Angeles.
