Tried this place for the first time. We went for brunch. It's a nice little spot. Theres free parking in the building and seating inside as well as outside. I ordered the Bae Mac with scrambled eggs, jack cheese and Jurassic Pork. The Jurassic Pork was salty/sweet but I would probably have it again but by itself. I want to taste more of the Jurassic Pork lol. It mixed well with the cheesy mac n cheese. Maybe too well lol. The Bae Mac was very cheesy, especially with the Jack cheese. Also tried it with the Cluckin' Good hot sauce. Not bad! Overall a nice eating experience. I wouldn't mind coming back to try the rest of the menu.

In the land of good brunches that is Culver City, this place is pretty good. My friends and I have come here twice. It definitely gets crowded on Sundays. Luckily we've never had to wait more than 30 minutes. They have indoor and outdoor seating options. I like the variety of breakfast options on their menu. This time, I went for the chicken fennel sausage scramble to be on the healthier side. I actually really enjoyed the breakfast potatoes and the toast with jam too. Really wanted to try their fresh squeezed OJ but they were out that day. Looking forward to coming here again!

Breakfast was okay. We arrived early for a girls 8:00am birthday breakfast date. Nothing special to remember. I do recall that they don't offer a kids menu. I did see another child in at this time. Something for them to consider. A pancake and a piece of bacon on a kids menu would be a HIT! Place was mostly empty and there is free street parking on Sunday mornings. Bon apetito!

I came for breakfast on a Sunday and was seated right away(I heard there's always a wait time). The waiter was friendly and she told us about the coffee they have . I ordered a breakfast republic vanilla latte and the chilaquiles. Really delicious food but I wish they had a little bit more sour cream on the chilaquiles. The food came out fast even though the place was busy. Parking was tough to find. We tried for street parking but there was none so we parked in a structure close by and it was $15.

Busy place for brunch, good-sized outdoor patio as well as indoor space. High ceilings and sort of a rustic vibe inside. Portions, at least for their more signature dishes, are pretty substantial-- the couple next to me at the bar ordered three (chilaques, I think a strawberry pancake stack, and omelet) that were massive. As they had space at the bar I was able to bypass the wait for a table immediately, not sure how long that wait would have been? I went for more reasonable, a normal stack of pancakes and some eggs-- pricing on both was surprisingly reasonable, and quality was good. Service was friendly and definitely well-intentioned, but you could tell they got a little busy, which is hard on the staff.

Stopped by Breakfast Republic for the first time and overall had a good experience. We arrived around 11am and were surprised there was no line. The host greeted us right away and was very friendly. I ordered the fresh-squeezed orange juice, which was delicious. For breakfast, I got the American, three eggs, house potatoes, bread, and your choice of sausage or bacon. I went with the chicken fennel-Asiago sausage and it was really good. We asked about the pancake options and were told we could substitute them for the bread, but didn't realize there would be an extra charge, so a little more transparency there would help. Service was friendly, though it felt a bit rushed even though it wasn't too busy. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's a great spot if you're craving breakfast. Parking can be tricky. Street parking is limited, but the Culver Garage about two blocks away offers the first hour free. There's also an underground garage that validates the first 30 minutes, but after that it's about $2.75 every 15 minutes.

Great as always...food, service and energy! Wait wasn't bad on a Sunday around 12:30. This is a solid breakfast option!

I came to brunch by myself and it was a pleasant experience. The food was made with love and those potato's are delicious! I love that there were many options to mimosa flavors too. I was able to sit outside and enjoy the busy street. I enjoyed it the shrimp and crab cake Benedict!! It wasn't too fishy and the jam at the bottom was *chefs kiss* !

The San Diegans did it again. Coming up north with their crazy ass breakfast spots and big ol' diabetic pancakes and inspiring sporty slogans. Really can't go wrong with this place if you have visitors in the area looking to satisfy their severely sweet tooth. Honestly i am a savory girl so I like getting a breakfast platter (get the Portuguese sausage as a substitute you'll thank me later) or my tried and true chilaquiles. Drinks? Bottomless coffee and cafe de olla! (I still think the cafe de olla is too sweet, so try half and half). The ube latte is overrated imo. They also have a small bar and they really push to try their prosecco if you're into that too. Seats are outside as well as inside. They have heated lamps for those brisk mornings. Not much cover from rain or sun though. Inside gets super loud btw, perfect for your screaming toddlers like mine! Unsurprisingly , this SD chain has samplers for their pancakes and French toast if you're the non committal type. I should know, my ex is from San Diego! Womp womp badaba Enjoy Ps. I'm a local, so where do people park?!? Good luck on that one, people. But there are a few parking structures in the area or street parking if you can decipher LA's parking zones.

My best friend and I decided to celebrate our birthdays at Breakfast Republic, it was the chosen place to have brunch. There was a moderate wait time, around 30 minute. We said no big deal, and wrote our name down to the list. Honestly, I felt like the time went by pretty quick. We both ordered the steak with the chimichurri sauce, eggs, and hash browns. I felt like this meal took FOREVER to come out. I get that it's cooked fresh (I hope), but felt it was an excessively long wait time. People that sat down after us were getting their food. I kind of think I was right, since our steak was cold when we received them, not sure if they were done and just waiting on the counter. However, we didn't complain. It was still tasty, even though it could have used some more seasoning. Our server was polite, felt very awkward though. He only came to check on us one other time, but it's okay, since he brought out a piece of coffee cake for us to share (for our birthday). Overall, I'm not sure if this was just a very off day for BR. I'll probably try again in the future.

Chat, went to breakfast republic the day after thanksgiving and was expecting a lot of wait time, but was seated fairly quickly for brunch. Service was decent. I would say it was a bit slower than other places. The restaurant itself is very big a lot of indoor and outdoor seating. Have a vast menu of breakfast items ranging from pancakes to American breakfasts and your typical brunch menu items. They have a good amount of drinks that you can order from thought my experience here was pretty solid and the food was very good as well. It's your typical American food spot didn't think anything was super special or over the top in terms of flavor. parking is usually gonna be street parking around this area. a lot of open spots tho. good for small large groups also dog friendly.

I wanted to try something different for breakfast and was not In mood for the usual. So I went and tried this place and it was good. I got their "San Diego Benedict" along with some "Strawberry cheesecake pancakes" and a side of hash browns. The Benedict plate was delicious and tasted good. The pancakes were good too with the cheesecake frosting that was light and sweet along with the powdered sugar and strawberries. the pancakes were soft and moist too. The hash browns could've been better but I gave it a shot. The ambience of this place was pretty nifty walking in as there's quotes and chickens all around the place also the service was good.

I visited this spot on a rainy morning with my best friend, so waiting for a table was a little tough since there's no designated waiting area. The good thing is it's surrounded by other shops, so we just wandered around and window-shopped until our table was ready. Once seated, I ordered the breakfast burger with a house coffee, and everything was pretty solid. The potatoes were surprisingly good super flavorful with the herbs, not dry at all, and perfectly crispy. The breakfast burger itself caught me off guard in the best way. I totally forgot it comes with both a beef patty and sausage, so that first bite was a fun surprise. It was really tasty and pretty filling. The only downside was the service felt a bit rushed and not very friendly, but considering how busy the place was, I kind of get it. Overall, great food, lively vibe, and a nice spot to warm up and eat once you're finally inside!

Do the plain side of grits have cheese?

    Yes!

    Do they take Apple Pay?

As far as I'm aware, yes.

Can I make a seating reservation by calling?

The automated phone menu states that the restaurant is first come first serve and they do not take reservations.

What is the actual price of the traditional Benedict? The place is opened up and one menu photo showed $14 and the other showed $13... Please tell me this place didn't raise their prices this quick?!

I always love how the tea base tastes with their flavoring. The iced tea always tastes very smooth overall. Anyways, my only complaint is I wish that this branch didn't fall behind on orders? Because parking here once you pass the free hour is not cheap unless you're willing to pay money. You can also order online through app, which I ended up doing because the line to order took so long. Even with an online order though, the estimated time was 30 minutes. Hoping they improve with that. Plenty of tables and seats outside. Very crowded inside due to the line. Workers don't really give customer service. They're just there to prepare your drinks and leave it on the counter.

Besides their most popular Hokey Pokey flavor their second most popular is their strawberry and cream one that comes with strawberry bits and whipped cream. The only downside was that I couldn't get it decaf since it's matcha, and they didn't offer non-fat milk either. However, the cashier was friendly. She asked what kind of milk I preferred and brought up the Olive Young promo, asking if I was going to wait in line. When I told them I wasn't sure yet, she gave me a good tip: she said if I didn't want to wait, I could just show the green Olive Young card to the security guard to get the goodie bag.
